Episode 157 | This week on Azeroth United, we ask whether Blizzard has gone too far with dungeon XP changes in World of Warcraft: Forever. The goal is understandable… discourage dungeon grinding, cleave groups, and boosting. But are the changes creating new problems like mob skipping, one and done dungeon runs, and even more incentive to pay for carries?Plus, we cover the latest WoW Forever Beta updates and RMT crackdown, declining Classic population numbers, the new World of Warcraft Dungeons & Dragons crossover, Liquid and Method discussing limits on Race to World First preparation, and the latest Trading Post. Episode 156 | This week on Azeroth United, WoW Forever gets its first major round of development notes, a community dueling tournament raises the stakes to $100,000, and the conversation around gold buying and RMT somehow gets even messier.Meanwhile, Blizzard finally gives us a release date for Midnight Patch 12.1.5: The Promise of Tomorrow, arriving October 13 with the Unbinding of Kith’ix, the Labyrinth of Kindo’jan, Aqir Invasions, new mid-season progression, and more. Then, in the Main Topic, we dive into WoW and the Trouble with Twitter. What began with Blizzard taking action against inappropriate names in the Forever beta quickly spiraled into developer comments, old social media posts, community outrage, and harassment. Where should the line be between developers speaking directly with players and Blizzard communicating official policy, and when does criticism go too far?
