Description

The Path of Meditation

Shabd Yoga is a practical way of life for realizing our true self as soul and awakening the Universal Consciousness within us, through meditation. The essential component of Shabd Yoga is the competent, living Master-Saint - Sant Khem Singh - who connects and guides the aspirant in meditation to his or her Higher Self, at the level of soul, in the form of inner Light and inner Sound.

The living, competent Master is concerned at all times for the spiritual well-being of humanity. Baba Sawan Singh, Sant Kirpal Singh, Sant Thakar Singh worked in the past. Today it is Sant Khem Singh. In these podcast episodes (satsangs, or spiritual discourses) he speaks about the importance of being born as a human being, as the Ancient Greeks implored: Man, know thyself!. He explains how humanity needs to access their own soul, the power source that we are, and the soul's connection to God. When our soul gains connection to the "Naam" or the Word, we can take the first steps on the path of self-knowledge. A connection is made, and firsthand experience is given of the inner Light and the inner Sound.

The Truth is a power, which is known when it is awakened. This is done by Sant Khem Singh, the Master of Inner Light and the Spiritual Sound Current.

"From the beginning and to the end, there is only one god. He is always forever. Guru is not a body. Guru is truth. And Guru of the universe is only ONE. So Guru Nanak says only worship ONE. Why do we worship others who live and die. If we worship him, we get all. That is the worship of everything. Guru is everything. Guru is the word. Guru is not the body. He is the sound current. And with sound current the world comes into existence and may come into destruction too."~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
"Today is a beautiful moment, this is a beautiful time. This day is a very precious day. Today is Sant Kabir’s birthday. God comes in the form of saints. There is not a single moment when there is not a saint on this earth… Saints save us. Why does God have to come in a dirty body? They come only to bless this world. That’s how Saint Kabir came that day."Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
"My mind is frightened. But he, the Guru, ends all my pain… for he bestows good upon us and blesses us… As long as we do not know ourselves, we cannot solve the mystery of life. We must understand ourselves, know ourselves. Until then our heart cannot be freed from suffering."~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
The Guru is greater than anyone here in this world. Everything is under his control and orders. There is liberation and freedom in the house of God. But the love and the elixir are with the Guru. So, the Guru comes to do good to all. He never wrongs anyone. He loves everyone. Irrespective of caste and creed. And wherever he looks, there is salvation forever.~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
The whole world is suffering from pain and disease. The guru is the medicine…  When the doctor gives you medicine, he is not making a mistake. He gives you all the same medicine, but if you do not take this medicine, how will your illness disappear? So it is important to take the medicine daily according to the doctor’s prescription.~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
If we come to know, that what is the purpose of life. What is the true path. Then we find the way to make our life successful. If we can reach his feet, the feet of the guru, then there will be no shortcomings. Only the guru can give you joy. And that is forever.~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. The master never leaves you. He has such a sweet love in him, that he wants to pass on his love to all of you. And he wants to make you all happy and bless you. There will be no problems or shortcomings. Even those who keep the Guru’s words in mind, there will be no problems for him. No fear, no worries, no weaknesses, because he is the Guru. The Guru is like God. Whoever has a fortunately blessed karma will find him. The Guru wanders around the world so that everyone can benefit from it. If the Guru is not there, this world may break. This world burns without saints. There is not a single second when there is not a master in this world.~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Dear souls, this song explains in a sweet way that the mind only wants luxury. That is its habit. We cannot get rid of the mind. It won’t let us out of its clutches. It is hard to let it go. If we free ourselves from this mind, then we can be successful in this world. The mind wants this and that, and we are used to fulfilling its wishes. What is the soul? It is yourself, it is fast. Fast. It can fly far away, faster than an aeroplane or a rocket. It flies into the universe and then returns to this body in a matter of seconds.~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
God’s light shines all the time, it is eternal, it needs no pot or oil or thread. The light is there, illuminating everything and everyone. So love everyone, we are all one. And this light is in each of us. So who teaches us to quarrel? How can we quarrel when we are all one! Rama said: Love all. He also said this. If we start loving everyone, then there will be no shortcomings and your meditations will be successful. Learn to die so that you learn to live. You are the temple of God.~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
The Sound is a plant and the Light is a plant, and if we let it grow, then we find the true God, sach khand. There is so much joy and love in Sach Khand. And it never ends. It is eternal and infinite. And to get this bliss you have to complete 3 courses, one is dhyan – which is undivided attention to the third eye, the other is simran, the remembrance of God in 5 names – and the third is the sound current, listening to the sound current. When you have completed all these courses, you begin to fly out of this body and wander around in the higher dimensions and come back here.~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. Guru’s Shabd is a marvellous nectar. Listen to it. It is so sweet. Taste it and find that flavour of Naam, you will not let go of Naam afterwards. This Naam is such a beautiful thing. We get this Naam from a competent master. This is the purpose of life.~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
Our blindness can only be removed when we start working on the path of truth….meditate on inner light and sound regularly, live a very simple life…..Joy will only come when you have love and affection among the family members……Im Ramayana it is told, that all these brothers were having much love and affection among themselves. Why do the Gurus come here? Why do the Masters come here? To bless you, to give you peace, to give you joy. When you are incarnated as birds or animals, you can do nothing. A stone can do nothing. Only in the human body can we meditate and find God. -- Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

"Love God, and love his humanity."So the most significant thing for a human being is that if he wants to find the God, if he wishes to know the God, if he desires to be in bliss, then he should start looking for a saint/ a mahatma. And if he finds a Saint, then he should attend his satsangs. In Satsangs he will get to understand th secret of human life…why have we come into this world as humans…. and what can we as humans do to get that eternal happiness…. Until we do that we cannot be happy in true sense. So first a human being should look for a perfect saint (Mahapurush), then attend his satsangs, and then after receiving Naam from the Guru… as in having found Guru, one should seek Naam….and after that devote himself to Bhajan Simran. Then he can find the God. And make his life fulfilled." ~Sant Khem Singh Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
