With humor, humility, and a deep dive into Scripture, this teaching reframes tongues, not as a badge of spirituality but as a supernatural key for intimacy, intercession, and edification.TakeawaysLove is the foundation. Every spiritual gift—including tongues—must flow through love, or else it becomes noise without power.Tongues are not a badge of spirituality. They are a gift, not a performance metric. There are multiple expressions of tongues. From corporate tongues with interpretation to private devotional tongues for edification and intercession, the Spirit equips believers in diverse ways.Tongues build up the believer. Not just for Sunday gatherings, but for washing dishes, walking the dog, preparing for a meeting, or tucking kids into bed—Spirit-led prayer belongs in the ordinary.Intercession through tongues is perfect prayer. The Spirit prays through you according to God’s will, carrying people, cities, and nations into the arms of Jesus.Don’t throw away God’s gift because of man’s misuse. Past abuses don’t negate the beauty and power of what God intends for His people.Call to ActionAs you listen, open your heart to the Spirit’s invitation. Sunday Morning Message
The only thing that made it through the cross of Jesus was our free will! It's time to surrender our will, our rights, and our options so we can experience God's will in our lives! We are not supposed to carry Jesus and something else. We are not supposed to give our lives to Jesus, and yet hang on to some things of the world. So many Christians are settling for a counterfeit freedom in certain areas of their life! We have a Father who wants to fulfill every area of our life in the greatest way, but it requires surrender! Luke 9:24 says, "For whosoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." Go all in! Surrender your will to Jesus in every area of your life and experience real freedom!
What can we learn about the link between God’s promise, our faith, and credited righteousness that will increase our understanding, transform our lives, and expand our impact on the world around us?Righteousness originates with God, who offers us the promise of blessing through his grace. Righteousness does not begin with our actions. It begins with God’s action. He makes a promise to us by His grace, that aligns with His righteous character and His divine plans for us.Faith is a journey whereby God expands our capacity to comprehend what is possible by His Promise of blessing. Faith isn’t about acting out our own imagination of God’s promise. Then we become discouraged if we don’t see the results we arelooking for, and think it’s because we don’t have enough faith, which is just a belief in our own righteousness. Faith is a journey where we grow in our knowledge of Him, increasing our ability to see the world through His eyes, and aligning our desires withHis heart as He continues to unfold and reveal the scope of His blessing.God’s righteousness, credited to us by our faith in His promise to act, produces acts of God through us that fulfill His mission for the world. Righteousness is not an act FOR God. It’s an act OF God through us. Once credited with righteousness, we become vesselsfor divine action.Righteousness is the engine of kingdom advance, empowering us to live out God’s blessing in Genesis 12:3 that all nations would be blessed and Jesus' commission in Matt. 28:19-20 to make disciples of all nations. It produces in us the power to bring God’s acts of blessing, God’s message of hope, and God’s provision of freedom to a world in desperate need of His righteousness.
I believe that God is re-establishing the purpose of the Church! We need each other! We were created for relationship! One of the major ways God reveals Himself to us is through our relationships with others! The Kingdom of God is a family! God's intent was for the church to gather together, grow together, and go together! The world around us is groaning for sons and daughters (The Church) to manifest God, to testify about Jesus, to live out the Word! Are you manifesting the world or God? It's time to see the importance of the church, the power of family, and the urgency of the gospel!
