Dennis McClung is the founder of Grace Path, a nonprofit ministry dedicated to proclaiming the Gospel through creative content, discipleship, and outreach. In this episode, the overarching biblical theme is hope. The key scripture is Jeremiah 24:4. Even in exile, there remains a path for spiritual renewal and reconciliation with God. After losing everything and becoming homeless, Dennis encountered the life-changing love of Jesus. In a shelter, the Holy Spirit revealed his calling to start a podcast, write books, and produce media to advance God’s Kingdom. In 2024, he launched Grace Path in obedience to that vision. Today, the ministry reaches believers and non-believers through books, podcasts, music, and outreach. Previously, Dennis founded Garden Pool, a global nonprofit recognized for humanitarian work, including a speech at the United Nations. He has written over a dozen books and brings more than a decade of nonprofit leadership. Guided by servant leadership and driven by the Great Commission (Matthew 28:16–20), Dennis seeks to help others grow in faith and live abundantly in Christ. #podcast #christianpodcast #bible #faith

In this episode with one of my top 5 favorite guests Barbara Lane tells the incredibly moving true story of 11 children given up to the foster system where they endured all sorts of abuse and neglect and Barbara's journey to finding not some but all of her lost siblings to be reunited again. I was so moved by this endearing narrative to tears as Barbara recounts the way God brought all the siblings together to tell their stories to Barbara who would later author them all in her book Broken Water, available on Amazon and Barbaralane.info. Rev. Barbara Lane integrates her life experiences into her writing. By sharing her own personal journey, Barbara destigmatizes the fate of child abuse survivors, leading her to write "Broken Water." In addition to her 25-year service in private practice as a ministerial counselor, Barbara’s educational background in human development, social sciences, and family psychology with a focus on child abuse, inspires her to share her expertise on interrelated issues: the family, family separation, the foster care system, attachment and bonding, child maltreatment, relationship formation, the resilience of the human spirit, healing from trauma, and the power found in having faith in something greater than the self. When not writing, you will find Barbara enjoying nature, reading, swimming, playing sports, people watching, and story writing. She especially enjoys spending time with her grandchildren. Barbara lives in the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia with her husband, Jim, who remains her childhood sweetheart. Barbara loves being by the life-giving energy of water.Rev. Barbara Lane, MA, OMC has mentored many toward healing by finding the sacred within. She serves as an independent minister, believing in helping all who find their way to her door.Rev.
