Taking a drag from her cigarette or effortlessly plucking her parlour guitar, Maia shares some songs and stories from her forthcoming album. As well as herexperience as a NAS student & life as a painter, find out how Maia put it all on the 'backburner' for a while. Only to return with a new depth and love for her crafts.
At the beginning of the year, Dan & Jordan made a commitment to do a podcast every fortnight until the end of November... they made it. In celebration, the Snowy boys shot the final episode of Season Two underneath a Snowy Gum tree, where the Snowy Gum theme song comes to full fruition.
What’s that you say… a live studio audience? What did we expect when Harmony Byrne invited us to stay on her and her husband's farm, somewhere in the hills of Castlemaine. Turns out Harmony is full of surprises, including an appearance with the Teskey Brothers at Castlemaine folk festival, as well as her own rambunctious set. One thing that wasn’t a surprise was her generosity of spirit. Snowy get the real experience about as intimate as you can get it. In a mud hut, eating custard tarts and listening to the stories of a true artist.
In true Snowy Gum fashion, Dan & Jord find themselves by a river bank in Kyneton (regional Victoria) having a cuppa and a yarn with Jae Laffer. On the second day of their road trip finale extravaganza; Jae imparts some wisdom from his experience as the front man of The Panics, on being a father, and more recently his painting and solo recordings.
