The Lions are Super Bowl favorites but got waxed in Lambeau, and the Dolphins got smacked around in Indy but welcome in a Pats team off a tough loss to the Raiders and looking to get the Vrabel era back on track. The Bengals may have won but didn’t look so impressive doing so and need to get Joe Burrow and JaMarr Chase back on track. The Kansas City Chiefs face a tall task in the Super Bowl rematch with the Eagles, can they avoid falling to 0-2? Plus, JJ McCarthy’s encore performance off that Monday Night comeback and the battle of the horses between Denver and the Colts and what surprisingly looks like a battle for the first between the Chargers and Raiders.Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
And just like that, it appears the Indianapolis Colts’ season is cooked as Daniel Jones exits with what could be a season-ending injury as the nightmare in Jacksonville continues. A wild weekend in the elements was first punctuated by a flip-flop script of errors in the snow between the Bengals and Bills while the Ravens hardly look like the anointed champs as Aaron Rodgers & the Steelers grunt out a victory. The Bears and Packers took it down to the wire, but who could we trust more… or less?PLUS, what got into the water in Cleveland and Tampa as the Titans and Saints walk out with victories. Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
Buccs McGee may not like the term “must-win,” but Week 14 is ripe with them! The Bills get back on the right track last week but now welcome a rejuvenated Bengals team with Joe Burrow back under center into town. The AFC South is on the line, begrudgingly so to nutmeg2palmetto, with the Colts heading into their land of terror, TIAA Bank Field to face the Jaguars. Cincinnati will also have eyes on the .500 battle for first in the AFC North between the Steelers and Ravens as both squads continue to look unimpressive. PLUS, the surprising top dog in the NFC resides in Chicago and the Bears head into Lambeau to prove they’re for real against the Packers. AND, Primetime gets juicy as the red-hot Texans head into Arrowhead to keep pushing the Chiefs further down the ladder and the Eagles seek to rite the ship in LA against the Chargers. Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
The NFC South continues to be a toss-up as the Carolina Panthers pull the upset of the LA Rams at home while the Bucs keep pace by narrowly surviving the Cardinals. Meanwhile, the Colts continue their spiral now having lost three of four games to the red-hot Houston Texans and throwing the AFC South back into competitive grounds. PLUS, the fallout from Bills and Steelers… who needed this win more?Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
Reaction to the NFL’s Thanksgiving Tripleheader including who survived the battle of fraudulent residents in a shootout in the Motor City with the Packers and Lions. PLUS, a down to the wire finish on the star. Did the Dallas Cowboys just put Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs on ice?And of course, the RETURN of Joe Burrow to the Cincinnati Bengals. Too little too late? And can his magical connection with JaMarr Chase keep their playoff hopes alive?Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
Postgame reaction to the pivotal Primetime reaction to the Bucs and Rams as first place hangs in the balance for both teams. Things went pretty well for the Colts in Arrowhead about 90% of the time but they couldn’t close the deal against the Kansas City Chiefs. Caleb Williams survives a Bears shootout with the Steelers minus Aaron Rodgers while the Patriots and Seahawks survive close road games. Philadelphia was not quite so fortunate in Dallas and the Giants gave Detroit a run for it despite Jahmyr Gibbs’ monster performance. The Jags pull it out in Overtime in the desert and HEY NOW, do the Browns have a Quarterback?? Shedeur Sanders notches his first win as a starter. Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
The Colts come off bye seeking to get their mojo back against the reeling Chiefs in Arrowhead, desperate for a win to stay in the playoff mix. The Bucs and their bleeding injury report head out to Tinseltown to take on the red-hot Rams. And just who may we expect under center for the Steelers in Chitown leads off a very much revolving door of QBs to go over in this week’s edition of XTRA PTS. Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
The Eagles yet again survive another NFC alleged-contender by the skin of their teeth throwing more question marks into the NFC North race especially as the surprising 7-3 Chicago Bears find themselves now in FIRST PLACE! Tampa Bay could not withstand the Josh Allen onslaught in Buffalo but is that sustainable for the Bills? And of course, could the Broncos have put the Chiefs playoff hopes on all but ice at this point in the season?PLUS, ugly AFC North performances including QB injury concerns, an embarrassing performance by the Chargers and the Falcons just keep on Falcon’ing. Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
Now that the Niners are seemingly out of the way, the Rams and Seahawks square off to put some distance in the rear view for top spot in the NFC West. But that’s not the only hot NFC ticket in town as the Eagles, fresh off a rough win in Lambeau, welcome the Lions to the City of Brotherly Love. The Chiefs look to stay in the picture facing a must-win in Denver and the AFC North pits teams against each other: the red-hot Ravens head to the Dawg Pound and off the news of Joe Burrow’s imminent return, the Bengals try to stay in the mix traveling to Pittsburgh. PLUS, the Chargers seek to put the nail in the Jags’ coffin, or at least dig their hole to the point they cannot climb back from and the Bucs head up to Buffalo as the Bills lick their wounds off that stinker in Miami. And Jameis Winston finally gets the nod for the Giants as they host the Packers desperate to remain out of irrelevancy. Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
Jonathan Taylor solidified his MVP case in Germany with a monster game against the Falcons and the Bucs are left to lick their Drake Maye-infused wounds. Matthew Stafford sets new career milestone to keep pace with the Seahawks in the West while the Bills and Panthers have quite the letdown performances. Jets had that monstrous firesale at the deadline but said, SAUCE WHO with multiple special teams scores and a spirited win over the Browns. Plus, Davis Mills shocks the world and goes Superman in a comeback win vs the Jags. Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""SOMBER"
The trade deadline came and passed with fireworks! The biggest prize was courtesy of the Jets firesale which landed Sauce Gardner on nutmeg’s Colts! Talk about addressing an area of weakness in a big way. Buccs McGee’s Tampa squad is front and center in a week of great games as they square off against Drake Maye and the Patriots. Can the Bucs’ injured-riddled receiving corps keep up? The Rams and Niners duke it out for the top spot in the NFC West with Seattle lining up Kyler Murray-less Arizona to try and not be left out of the discussion. Primetime lives up to its name this week - Which Steelers team will we get in LA? The one that got shredded by Jordan Love and the Packers or the one that withstood Daniel Jones’ aerial assault? Speaking of those Green Bay, they take on the defending champs on Monday Night and probably without a ton of confidence after losing Tucker Kraft for the season. Plus, Kyler isn’t the only QB injury to keep an eye on this week. CJ Stroud will miss time with a concussion against a Jags team looking to keep up with Indy and with Jayden Daniels shelved for a significant period of time, is Washington doomed in the LIons’ den?Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""SOMBER"
Buccs McGee has some strong words for the Green Bay Packers after an embarrassing loss to the Carolina Panthers where Bryce Young didn’t do a whole lot in his return. But it gets worse as Tucker Kraft is likely done for the season.  A shootout of epic proportions in Cincy as Joe Flacco nearly eclipses a 500-yard game and some rare heroics from Caleb Williams. The Chiefs and Bills renew their rivalry in Orchard Park, how will this affect the playoff standings? Colts get sloppy and drop one in Pittsburgh, Patriots get a challenge from Atlanta and the Denver Broncos survive a battle of kicks in Houston. And what business do the Lions have losing to JJ McCarthy and Minnesota? Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
Buccs McGee sees his Tampa team on bye this week while nutmeg2palmetto's Colts venture into Pittsburgh, a place where things haven’t always been so kind to Indy. The Buffalo Bills sharpened their game last week in Carolina and now seem ready to host the Chiefs. Will they set themselves up for a chance at playoff success and maybe a sweep should they meet as usual in the postseason? Or is KC too hot to put out right now?PLUS, an extended XTRA PTS round to kick off Week 9 as we look at teams that are trying to stay in the playoff picture and if a loss this week could deep-six their chances. The Falcons head to Foxboro, CIncy and the Bears duke it out, Houston hosts the Broncos, the Vikings travel to MoTown, the Panthers to Lambeau, and Jacksonville is off to Sin City. Whose seasons will we prepare to sit at the losers bracket after these games conclude? Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull" "New Outro, Who Dis"
J-E-T-S! Win! Win! Win! A monstrous comeback lifts Gang Green to their first win of the season as the force-feed JaMarr Chase strategy finally fails. The Falcons get walloped on South Beach and San Francisco doesn’t even bother showing up as they visit the Texans. No Lamar, seemingly no problem this time around for the Ravens as the Bears… well, I guess we can just chalk that one up to being the Bears. The Broncos and Bills are off the Fraudulent Penthouse list for now after blowout performances. The Eagles get Saquon Barkley back on track as the Giants lose more than the game and yet again, it’s 2005 all over again as the Pats and Colts lead blowout victories, the latter of which might solidify Jonathan Taylor as the MVP favorite. Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""SOMBER"
It’s old school night in LA with the old San Diego Chargers uni’s but Oronde Gadsden has made it very new school as he continues his coming-out party. The Ravens fight for dear life in Lamar Jackson’s expected return versus the Bears and the Bills need to beat someone they should for once as they head to Carolina. The Broncos have had some shaky wins, are they due for more drama hosting the Dallas Cowboys? And Aaron Rodgers returns to Green Bay as the Steelers look to stay in first. The season is also on the brink for a few teams, the Bengals strive to achieve .500 again against the winless Jets, the Falcons look to rebound versus the hapless Dolphins, the Texans are in a must-win hosting CMC and Niners and Washington shelves Jayden Daniels again due to injury and face an uphill task on Monday squaring off with the red-hot Chiefs. Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
Those Eagles are really finding their passing game as both elite wideouts put on a show against the Vikings but where does that leave Saquon? Speaking of monster efforts, Jonathan Taylor led the charge in a thrashing of the Chargers in LA and the Rams made light work of the Jags in London behind Matt Stafford’s ageless arm even in spite of Travis Hunter’s coming out party. The Bucs laid an egg in Detroit as the Lions rebounded from their beatdown in KC and things are really looking rough for the Texans after JSN lifted the Seahawks to victory. Battle of the Backs took off by the Bay. CMC and Bijan Robinson both put up gaudy numbers but why was the Falcons star off the field at the most critical time? And yes, oh yes, how bad it must feel to be a Giants fan after a spirited road effort against the Broncos only to give up 33 points in the fourth quarter. Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
The Eagles need a rebound against the fresh-off-a-bye Minnesota Vikings and the Colts and Chargers duke it out for AFC Supremacy. Washington and the Cowboys have had inconsistent seasons but a chance pitted against each other allows for the opportunity to get back in the mix for the NFC Wild Card picture. And the London finale features the Rams licking their wounds off a lackluster win over the Ravens and the Jags equally seeking to get back on the winning track from a loss to those Seahawks. Primetime features some playoff contender-worthy matchups as the Falcons enter the Bay Area fresh off a huge win over the Bills, the Lions and Bucs renew their rivalry in Motown and the Seahawks welcome in the Texans trying to keep their season above water. PLUS, there’s some potential trap games this week. Which has the best to pull an upset? Arizona over the Packers, the Giants in Mile High, the Jets seeking their first win at home against the hot Panthers or the Raiders heading into Arrowhead?Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
Buccs McGee recaps a wild victory over the M.A.S.H. unit 49ers who only seem to rack up more of those injuries. Joe Flacco debuted and found paydirt with JaMarr Chase but the Cincy defense was still no match for the Packers. Some spirited late efforts by the Panthers and Chargers tell very different stories for Dallas and Miami, respectively, and Jacoby Brissett steps in late for Kyler Murray this week to give his old team in the Colts a bit of a scare. Lamar Jackson may be back for the Ravens next week but is it too late after a loss to the Rams, even if it wasn’t as lopsided as originally thought. Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
Reaction to the Eagles & Giants as Philadelphia could not get back on the winning track. Lamar Jackson hasn’t practiced all week, should he not be able to go will this doom the Ravens playoff chances? There’s a new QB in Cincinnati as Joe Flacco tries to re-inject life in his arm with new targets JaMarr Chase and Tee Higgins… but is less than a week enough to learn a whole new playbook? A surprising matchup between playoff contenders in Seattle and Jacksonville plus a proving ground for the Bucs and 49ers as both teams stand at 4-1. And what was once thought to be a Super Bowl matchup, the Lions head into Arrowhead to see what could’ve been and try to drive a stake further into the Chiefs coffin. PLUS, the latest thoughts on the hottest seats in the NFL in the early going with Arizona, the Jets, and Miami. Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
Bad day for the New York... errr, ew Jersey teams as the Jets defense gets lit up by Dak and the Cowboys and the Giants fall in a come-from-behind win by the New Orleans Saints. Speaking of comebacks, the Eagles played with enough fire and it finally burned them as the Broncos steal one on the road. Daniel "Indiana" Jones keeps the Colts flying high, Carson Wentz and Bryce Young steal victory from the jaws of defeat for the Vikings and Panthers, respectively, so does that mean Mike McDaniel is on is way out the door imminently? Oh yeah, the Ravens. No Lamar and A LOT of problems. Could Baltimore's season really be toast now?Music Credit: Monty Wames"Raging Bull""New Outro, Who Dis"
