Brock and Salk dive more into the Julio Rodriguez conversation and how he is the ultimate driver of this Mariners team, along with if he could get hot earlier than usual this season. Later, jeff Passan of ESPN joins the show for his weekly segment in which he shares his thoughts on the Astros pitching, Julio Rodriguez, stars stepping up and much more.
Brock and Salk discuss the Mariners sweep of the Astros and how different the offense looks when their best players are hitting. They then react to a fantasy football list that says the Seahawks have gotten worse. Moreso than any other team in the NFL. They debate if there is any truth to that or not. In Blue 88, Brock takes a look at who is an ideal fit for the Seahawks in the draft, why this draft is so hard on established programs like the Seahawks, and who the next Seahawks owner should be.
Salk was not happy after watching the Kraken lose last night and expresses that to start the show, specifically about wanting to see their young guys play more. Later, they re-air their conversation with Keith Law of The Athletic to get his insight on a bunch of the Mariners prospects, including Colt Emerson, Ryan Sloan, Michael Arroyo and more.
Brock continues his profile of Seahawks draft prospects with an edge rusher from Missouri. Then, we discuss whether Rory McIlroy had an unfair advantage at the Masters and react to Keith Law's comments that one player can't elevate a team in baseball the way they can in other sports.

Crawford, Josh Naylor and much more. In Blue 88, topics include how far back the Seahawks go in gaining data on a prospect, an attribute that should be more talked about and Mike Macdonald at The Masters.
The Mariners took advantage of  the Astros pitching over the weekend and won all three games, so Salk talks through the ability to get the offense back on track. Then, they go Around The Weekend with stories from the Mariners and The Masters.
Stacy Rost joins Mike Salk to discuss what's going on with the Mariners struggling offense and how they can manufacture some energy despite those struggles. Then, we discuss the M's begining their 4 game series with the Astros tonight, Tod Leiweke's press conference yesterday, and the Kraken winning a shootout with Vegas in Need to Know. Plus, we take your calls, as we do every Friday.
The hour starts by listening back to some of the best sound of the week from guests during For You In Review. Later, Gee Scott stops by for his weekly appearance.
Salk talks through an article from Adam Jude highlighting the areas in which the Mariners have struggled offensively, but Salk wonders the reason why that it's all happening. They then go through a game of Whose Shoes featuring a variety of topics. In Blue 88, topics include John Schneider's process, an attribute in the draft process that is rarely discussed and if the Seahawks could trade for a certain noteworthy running back.
Salk reads some late night texts to start the show featuring messages about the Mariners and Kraken. Afterwards, they re-air their conversation with Mariners broadcaster Aaron Goldsmith who discusses the team's slow start, why there have been struggles offensively and much more.

Then, Salk disagrees with a text that say the M's problem is their home run dependency and we discuss  Myles Garrett's trade potential and him not showing up for voluntary workouts. Afterwards, Greg Wyshinski of ESPN joins the show to discuss the Kraken firing Ron Francis, how they will move forward and what the Kraken have to do to become a winning hockey team. In Blue 88, Brock takes a look at the Seahawks that have the most to develop and gain this upcoming season, if the Seahawks will draft a running back and why the Seahawks aren't alone in adding impact at the line of scrimmage.

After 22, the M's introduced that horrific Home Run Trident and their offense has had as much growth as a napalmed rice patty field ever since. Look, this organization has issues, but they should not be this frustrating. Get rid of that thing.

Embarrassing game that should make the fan base wake up and revolt. Stanton should never be allowed to show his face near T-Mobile without drawn and quartered. oh, and another thing, the CCs suck and should be demolished on the pitchers' mound in a Disco demolition night inspired sacrifice to the Baseball Gods for forsaking this decent city for so long.

5 great pitchers can get you to the playoffs even with a league average offense, but only in the National League.

Brock, man just do your own show. Salk sucks the fun out of thinking about the points you make. Close to unsubscribing.
