#320: What if there’s less standing between you and your dream life than you think? If you've ever caught yourself thinking "that's too big of a dream," this episode is going to completely shift how you see what's possible for your life.Today I'm sitting down with Olivia Rose Thomas — manifestation coach, co-host of Inspired Delusions, and someone who went from being skeptical of the idea of manifesting to completely transforming her life through it. Olivia breaks down the neuroscience behind why getting your hopes up is the most powerful thing you can do, why your 95% subconscious mind might be sabotaging what you want, and how to rewire your brain to expect good things. This isn't just woo-woo talk — Olivia connects quantum physics, nervous system regulation, and brain science to explain why manifestation actually works. She shares how she manifested her dream apartment the day after putting it on her vision board, why being audacious about your goals gives your brain more dopamine and motivation, and the exact tools that help you feel safe enough to dream bigger than you ever thought possible. This episode is for you if:You're tired of playing it safe and ready to let yourself receive what you actually wantYou've tried manifesting before and felt like it didn't workYou want to understand the science behind why your thoughts literally shape your realityYou're ready to stop being realistic and start being audaciousWe talk about…The moment Olivia went from manifestation skeptic to believer — and manifested her exact dream living situationWhy getting your hopes up is actually less painful than believing nothing is possibleThe study that proves we only see what we're looking for (and how to use this to your advantage)What your subconscious mind really is and why 95% of your thoughts are working against you without you knowing itThe three R's formula: Recognize, Rewire, Regulate — and how to actually change your beliefsWhy EFT tapping calms your nervous system and clears the "clouds" blocking your natural state of worthinessHow to use subliminals safely (and why creating your own with your voice works faster)Why acting "as if" and changing your identity is more powerful than any manifestation ritualWhy being realistic is the fastest road to mediocrity — and what to do insteadHow to feel safe enough in your nervous system to actually let yourself hope for moreEpisode Links:Follow Olivia on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/oliviarosethomas_/Follow Olivia on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@oliviarosethomas?lang=enListen to Olivia’s podcast, Inspired Delusions: https://open.spotify.com/show/6ETFmbKuK8CU6vYU9wFRwu?si=c93d63ba996d4dd7Get your She’s So Lucky Merch: https://shop.dearmedia.com/collections/shes-so-luckySponsors:Nutrafol: For a limited time, Nutrafol is offering our listeners ten dollars off your first month’s subscription and free shipping when you go to nutrafol.com enter the promo code BALANCEDLES.Kendra Scott: Visit kendrascott.com/gifts and use code SSL20 at checkout for 20% off ONE full-priced jewelry item. #316: Nia Sioux has been in the public eye since she was 9 years old. Most people first met her on Dance Moms, where she became known for her talent, her grace under pressure — and yes, for often being put at the bottom of the pyramid. Now at 24, Nia is reclaiming her story — on her own terms. In this conversation, we talk about what it’s like to be perceived before you even know who you are, and how you begin to unpack that when the whole world thinks they already know your story. Nia opens up about the emotional process of writing her upcoming memoir Bottom of the Pyramid, what it took to revisit her childhood through adult eyes, and how she found closure by using her own voice. This is an honest, layered conversation about resilience, identity, and what it means to own the narrative of your life, especially when that narrative has long been shaped by others.Nia reminds us that reclaiming your narrative isn't just empowering — it's healing. In this episode, we cover:Nia’s emotional journey of revisiting her childhood on reality TVWhat it means to be “the underdog” — and how that label lingersHow the title Bottom of the Pyramid became a reclamation, not a resignationLearning how to tell your full story, even when people only want to hear certain partsReleasing the pressure to prove yourself (and who that performance is really for)What she's learned from watching the show as an adult — and what her mom taught her about strengthEpisode Links:Check out Nia’s memoir, Bottom of the Pyramid: A Memoir of Persevering, Dancing for Myself, and Starring in My Own Life, available November 4thFollow Nia on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/niasiouxFollow Nia on TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@niasiouxGet your She’s So Lucky Merch: https://shop.dearmedia.com/collections/shes-so-luckySponsors:Jones Road Beauty: Modern-day makeup that’s clean, strategic, and multifunctional for effortless routines. #311: Have you ever hit a wall—mentally, creatively, emotionally—and wondered how you were going to get through it? I have, many times. When I’m low on motivation or facing something that feels bigger than me, I’ve started asking myself a simple question: What would Beyoncé do? Not in a “she’s perfect” kind of way, but because she embodies discipline, reinvention, and showing up even when it’s hard.In this solo episode, I’m sharing why Beyoncé is one of my go-to sources of inspo when I need to recalibrate, plus a few lessons I’ve pulled from her rehearsals, performances, and fearless approach to business. Whether it’s a new creative project, a tough decision, or just getting through a blah week—channeling a little Bey energy can go a long way.If you’ve been needing a mindset reset or a reminder that you’ve got this (even when it feels like you don’t) this episode is for you.Links:Subscribe to the She’s So Lucky newsletter and get my free Best Case Scenario Journal TemplateFollow on IG: @shessoluckypod @lesalfredFollow on TikTok @shessoluckypod @lesalfredSponsors:Today’s episode is brought to you by Bumble, the go-to dating app for finding love. #307: This week, I’m diving into something that’s been coming up a lot in my own life and in so many conversations with friends, too: the subtle (and not-so-subtle) ways we sabotage ourselves. In this solo episode, I’m unpacking why other people don’t actually have the power to block what’s meant for us—but we do. Whether it’s through self-doubt, procrastination, perfectionism, or just plain fear, we can end up being our own biggest haters.I’m also sharing some mindset shifts and honest reflections that have helped me recognize when I’m getting in my own way and how I try to move through it with a little more self-compassion and a lot more clarity. If you’ve ever had that gut feeling that you might be the one holding yourself back… this one’s for you.Resources:Follow me on IG @lesalfredFollow She’s So Lucky on IG @shessoluckypodFollow me on TikTok @balancedlesFollow She’s So Lucky on TikTok @shessoluckypodDownload my free Best Case Scenario Journal TemplateSponsors:Dove & CVS: Let’s keep beauty Positively Real. #304: Is being too “realistic” keeping you stuck? This week, I’m getting into something I’ve been thinking about a lot lately: how being “realistic” can actually be a form of shrinking our goals to fit our fears. In this solo episode, I’m unpacking why being realistic isn’t always the wise or grounded choice it’s made out to be, and how it might actually be self-sabotage disguised as protection.I also share some mindset shifts that have helped me stop shrinking my goals to fit what feels “safe” and start thinking bigger again—without spiraling into overwhelm. If you’ve ever talked yourself out of something because it felt too bold or too unlikely, this one’s for you.In this episode, I talk about:Why “being realistic” can be a trapHow I’ve noticed it showing up in my own lifeWhat to do when your big goals start to feel too far awayThe difference between grounded strategy and self-sabotageEncouragement to stop playing small and dream a little biggerResources:Follow me on IG @lesalfredFollow She’s So Lucky on IG @shessoluckypodFollow me on TikTok @balancedlesFollow She’s So Lucky on TikTok @shessoluckypodDownload my free Best Case Scenario Journal TemplateSponsors:Nutrafol: Get stronger, healthier hair with Nutrafol. I love listening to this podcast and have found so many products and information that I probably would not have found if not for this podcast. I also enjoyes this podcast and the information that was given but its the first time I felt the host was either preoccupied, tired or just had other things on her mind. It was a little weird at times during paused moments. This guest had lots of energy and positive information. Maybe it was just an off day, we all have those.
