We can spend a lot of time here on earth striving for treasures and rewards that will not last. You may have heard the saying... "you will never see a hearse with a trailer hitch", meaning you won't be able to take your earthly treasures with you when you die. And that is so true! So what DOES matter when you die? What truly matters is what you did here on this earth for God. How did your spend your time here on earth advancing His Kingdom? How did you spend your time serving others? How did you spend your time loving others? These are all things we should pay attention to during our time here on earth. Take 2026 to really go before the Lord and ask Him what it is HE wants you to do for His Kingdom. Love you!

The New Year is upon us and so many of us have things we want to change in the coming New Year. We call them "New Years Resolutions" -- they often include exercising, eating better, working harder, etc. However, the most important resolution we should all have as Christians is seeking God's face and perfecting our relationship with Him. In today's episode, we go over 8 ways, backed up by Scripture, in which we can do just that! Enjoy, and happy New Year!

In today's episode, we cover "The Great I Am" starting in Exodus 3 and taking us all the way to Jesus's words in John 8:58. As we've talked about before, Jesus is God, and He says so Himself time and time again throughout the Gospels, particularly in the book of John. The Book of Hebrews reminds us that Jesus remains the same forever, He never changes. If that's the case, that means the same God in the New Testament (Jesus) is the same God in the Old Testament, and therefore when we read what God says and does in the Old Testament, it should give us a clearer understanding as to who Jesus really is. Jesus is God. Jesus is "I Am".

I had the great honor of talking theology with two of my good friends Nick Kassouf and Matthew Logan. Both have appeared on my podcast before, and we've had some great conversations. It was great to get the three of us together in one room! Nick is a Catholic, Matthew is a Calvinist, and I would consider myself somewhat of an Arminian. We agree on a lot of things, but of course, we also disagree on some stuff. In today's episode we touch on the following topics: Salvation, The Unpardonable Sin, Free Will, Predestination, Faith & Works, Transubstantiation, Repentance, and more. Enjoy!

Jesus is the gate. He is the ONLY WAY to salvation. In today’s episode, we dive into John 10 where Jesus talks of the gate, the gatekeeper, the sheep, and the thief who is ready to rob, steal, and destroy. Jesus is the gate by which the sheep (people) must enter in order to inherit eternal life. God is the gatekeeper who opens the door for the Good Shepherd to come in. The thief is Satan, or people that Satan uses in order to lead people away from Jesus, the Good Shepherd, and into darkness. The world is full of thieves today… even in the church. Be careful not to listen to them. Instead, keep your eyes and your ears on the Truth. Keep it on the Word of God. Anybody who tries to point you away from Scripture is indeed leading you astray. Do not be lead astray! Keep your attention on God’s Word ALWAYS.

Happy Thanksgiving, everybody! On today’s episode, we dive into a bit of the history of Thanksgiving, which is really quite fascinating and has given me a greater appreciation for the holiday. In 1863, President Abraham Lincoln proclaimed Thanksgiving as a national holiday in the midst of the Civil War. Despite the darkness which loomed over the United States of America, Lincoln encouraged a time of prayer and thanksgiving to God for all of the good things He had provided American citizens with, even in the face of heavy challenges. This should serve as a reminder for us as Americans today to be thankful for everything God HAS given us rather than focusing on the things we do not yet have. Take the time this Thanksgiving to thank God for everything He has done for you, especially the fact that He sent his Son to die on the cross and rise again so that we do not have to face eternal condemnation. THAT is something to be thankful for. We end this episode with some of my favorite “thanksgiving” Bible verses and by sharing all of the things our listeners are thankful for, which they submitted on Instagram. Thank you to all who watch and listen to Bible Time with Charlie. I’m thankful FOR YOU! Love you all. Happy Thanksgiving!

What do the 10 commands that were written to the Israelites 3,000 years ago have to do with us today? A LOT. The 10 Commandments are so relevant to us today and as Christians we should absolutely not dismiss them. Jesus Himself spoke of the 10 commandments and He even fulfilled God’s intention for them in the New Testament by getting more specific about what some of the commands mean. We dive into each of the 10 commandments in today’s episode and carefully evaluate them and ourselves to see if we are truly living up to obeying God’s commands. Jesus says Himself in John 14:15, “if you love me, obey my commandments.”

God promises us so much, and it's so important as Christians to know and understand His promises. God promises us healing, forgiveness, protection, joy, peace, prosperity, and so much more. In today's episode, we dive into scripture and talk about the promises of God, how to approach God, how to go about asking Him for things, and how important it is to obey Him, because true love for God is obeying His commandments. Enjoy!

Today we read an entire book of the Bible -- the Book of Jude. Jude covers topics such as idolatry, heresy and false prophets, sin, and end times, and it's only about 2 pages long. We cover the all the basis in today's episode and we touch on all the hype surrounding Israel as well. It's so important to read our Bibles in times like today when misinformation and lies are all over the place. If you want the truth, read your Bible. God gave us the answers thousands of years ago. It's time to start taking what He said seriously. At the end of this episode, we read some of the Bible verses you all submitted online! Enjoy.

Today we dive into Romans 3 and talk about how no one is good. Only God is good. There are many people today who claim they know the "truth" -- they claim they are "good" -- however there is only One who is good and there is only one who knows the truth, and that is God. If you want to seek truth, seek the Word of God. Take your attention off of the internet and begin to set your eyes on the Bible. In a time full of lies and deception it is so important that we are not deceived. Stop looking to man for the answers and start looking to God. The answers are found in His Word.

The Bible is more than just a book. It is alive (Hebrews 4:12), it is our medicine (Proverbs 4:22) and it is our guiding light (Psalm 119:105). In a world that is afraid, broken, sick, confused, and angry, it is SO important to remain in God's Word daily. It is the only way to avoid the hurt and pain caused by this world. By reading your Bible everyday, you will find that life will become so much better and you will feel different. We need to get into the habit of daily Bible reading and prayer. It really makes a difference in your life. We need to spend less time on social media, and more time in the Word.

Today, we dive into Romans 2. In this chapter, Paul talks about God's righteous judgement and that it isn't who you are, where you come from, or how you look on the outside that matters, it's all about what is on the inside. God looks at the heart. I can be the greatest "Christian" in the world on the outside -- I can wear a Jesus hat and a cross necklace and have a huge smile on my face -- but if my heart is corrupt, then none of that matters. We can't just look and talk like a Christian, we must ACT like one, whether we are out in public or alone in our room. Man looks at the outward appearance, but God looks at the heart.

What are the origins of Halloween? How did it get to the United States of America? Is it really as dark as it seems? Do witches, Neo-pagans, and sorcerers perform special rituals on Halloween? As Christians, should we celebrate Halloween? We talk about all of this and more on today's episode. I've covered Halloween in the past, but not to this extent. Buckle up and get ready to learn and discern! Enjoy.

On today's episode, we dive into the book of Romans, who it was written to, and why. Rome was a melting pot of politics, lifestyle, and culture. During the time of Jesus, it was running rampant with all kinds of sin and idolatry. Rome was a polytheistic society, which meant they didn't believe in one, single God. They believed in many gods, and even saw their own emperor as a god. You can imagine how difficult it must have been to get the Gospel to such a pagan society! However, Paul's letter to the Romans lays out the Gospel so clearly and truthfully, that Rome produced some very powerful Christians. Christians who persevered in the face of a worldly, sinful society. Even in today's day and age, it can feel like we are living in a pagan society, and it can be tough to be Christlike and spread the gospel in such a time as this, however, I think we can all learn something from Paul's letter to the Romans. I think if we read it and apply it to our lives today, we will see that the book of Romans is still very relevant.

When we serve God here on this earth, we must do it FOR HIM. Not for ourselves, not so that we look good in front of other people, not for money, not for earthly rewards that will not last -- we do it FOR HIM. If we have the wrong motives here on earth when serving the Lord, we will receive NO REWARD from our Father in heaven. Jesus makes this clear in Matthew 6. It's so important to ask ourselves: What's my motive?

The events that have unfolded over the past couple of weeks have been enormous. From Iryna Zarutska to Charlie Kirk, it should leave people wondering "what's going on?!" Paul gave us the answer 2,000 years ago in 2 Timothy Chapter 3: "There will be terrible times in the last days." We are living in terrible times, folks. However, we are not to be afraid. Now more than over, Christians everywhere must use their voice to boldly proclaim the Truth written in the Word of God. Christians everywhere must boldly proclaim JESUS. Charlie Kirk was a threat to the Enemy, but the Enemy will not be able to silence him or his message. His message will only grow louder and bigger as the future unfolds. The United States of America suffered a loss. The Body of Christ lost a member of the family. But the fight will continue and the battle will be won. God wins. This is the Turning Point.

Sometimes, it might seems like we have nobody to turn to -- no friends, no family. You may have experienced isolation because of your faith. You may have lost close friends because of your faith. When this happens, Jesus tells us to take heart because "if the world hates you, keep in mind it hated me first." When it seems as though we have nobody to turn to, turn to Jesus. He is your family. He is your friend. The day you become baptized and born again into the Kingdom, you become a child of God -- you become part of God's family, and within God's family are other people who have given their life to Christ -- these are your brothers and sisters in Christ. Remember that the next time you feel alone. You have family. You are part of God's family!

It was great having Nick Kassouf back on the show to talk more about some of the core beliefs and doctrine of Catholicism. Today, we talk about the Eucharist. As a protestant, I believe the practice of communion to be a remembrance of what Jesus did for us on the cross. It is a symbol. When we take communion, it is a time to reflect on Christ's sacrifice as well as a time to examine ourselves and make sure we are living according to God's Word. Nick believes, as a Catholic, in the idea of transubstantiation, which is the Roman Catholic and Eastern Orthodox doctrine that the physical substance of the bread and wine in the Eucharist is transformed into the actual body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ, while the external appearances (color, taste, texture) of bread and wine remain. We dive deep into the topic and discuss our differences and why we believe what we believe! I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did!

You and I have a very similar calling to John the Baptist. John the Baptist was called by God to prepare the way for Jesus's coming. We, as Christians, are called by God to prepare the way for Jesus's SECOND coming. What are you doing with your short amount of time here on this earth in order to prepare people's hearts for Jesus's return? In today's episode, we talk about the life of John the Baptist, the origins of baptism, and we even discuss whether or not water baptism is necessary for salvation. Enjoy!

So often I wonder why people beg God for their prayers to be answered... Hebrews 4:16 tells us to "approach God's throne with confidence". What does it mean, then, to approach His throne with confidence? It means to believe that the work that He did on the cross is finished, and that by faith in Him we are children of God, and as God's children, He knows how to give good gifts to those who ASK HIM! If God's Word promises peace, believe it, don't beg for it. If God's Word promises healing, believe it, don't beg for it. It's already yours. Stop doubting. It doesn't make sense to beg for something that's already yours. When you're believing for a prayer to be answered, approach God with confidence, thanking Him that what He has promised in His Word is yours as a child of God. We need to change the attitude of our prayers. Start to pray with confidence. No more doubt!
