Helen’s first position in intelligence was at a prison west of Brisbane – Borallan Correctional Centre. Helen has contributed to a number of Australian Government initiatives such as the National Counter Terrorism Committee Plan and operationalised intelligence in response to the Independent Review of Airport Security and Policing (Wheeler Review) for the Australian Federal Police, Queensland Police Service and the Office of Transport Security.
More recently, Helen delivered the Queensland Corrective Services Intelligence Review providing both a high-level strategic response as well as a deep dive operational review into intelligence practice, process, technologies and legislative amendments to improve proactive sharing of intelligence between correctional and law enforcement agencies.
