Why does darkness exist if God is good? In this opening episode of this series, we begin in Genesis and trace the fracture that introduced sin and death into the world. Through Genesis, Romans, and John, we explore hiding, promise, and the light that shines in darkness. The night begins, but it does not begin without hope.
Every walk with God in Scripture ultimately points to Jesus. In this final episode, we see how God Himself walks with us through the life, death, and resurrection of Christ. Our walk with God is possible because Jesus walked faithfully all the way to the cross.
Can you still walk with God after failure? David’s life reminds us that repentance is not the end of the walk but part of it. In this episode, we explore forgiveness, consequences, and grace, and how God continues to walk with His people even after they fall.
Walking with God does not always mean walking straight into the promised land. Sometimes it means the wilderness. In this episode, we turn to Moses to see how God walks with His people through seasons of waiting, dependence, and testing. We explore how God uses the wilderness to shape humility and deepen trust in His presence.
What do you do when God calls you forward but does not give you all the details? Abraham’s story shows us a walk of faith shaped by trust rather than certainty. Through Genesis, Hebrews, and Romans, we see how walking with God often means stepping forward before the path is clear and why God’s faithfulness matters more than our sense of control.
Walking with God does not always come with approval. Sometimes it comes with ridicule. In this episode, we look at Noah, a man who walked with God in a corrupt and unbelieving world. Through Genesis, Hebrews, and Peter, we explore what obedience looks like when faithfulness is lonely and trust comes before results. What happens when walking with God puts you out of step with everyone else?
What does the Bible actually mean when it talks about walking with God? Is it a feeling, a lifestyle, or something more concrete? In this episode of What’s the Word, we open our new series Walk With Me by grounding the conversation in Scripture. Looking at passages from Genesis, Micah, and Galatians, we explore how walking with God involves relationship, humility, and daily dependence on Him, not vague spirituality or self direction. This episode sets the foundation for the entire series.
A milestone moment: Our 100th episode! We’re celebrating by sharing our favorites from God’s Word: favorite verse, chapter, book, person, and event. This isn’t a “Top 5” list; it’s a window into how Scripture has shaped our hearts. Every favorite reveals something about the God who still speaks through His living Word.
Life is too heavy to carry alone. Scripture shows us how love bears burdens, lifts others up, and carries us further together than we could ever go apart.
Suspicion divides, but love builds trust. This conversation shows how the Bible calls us to patience, humility, and choosing to believe the best about one another.
True love rejoices in what is right and good. This episode highlights how celebrating truth brings unity, joy, and encouragement in the body of Christ.
