And here we are… landing The Mothership Volume 2 with our final track for The Village.Track 9 is a montage of “Words to Live By.”It was always our intention to create an audio-first experience for present and future mothers. Even if that meant we made it slow, intentionally, and one track at a time.Along the release of this sophomore audio album, we received many private messages from you.One of the themes from those messages that stands out to me is the concept of how energizing it is for others when we each embody our personal destiny with a holy endurance — for others to see. This is the idea that “keeping up” is a practice that you do which gives hope to others when they see it in action. This is the idea that most of the effect your work has in the world after it leaves you, you won’t see directly, or at all. But it will have an effect, nonetheless. This is the idea that your single pointed projection creates a legacy of sound that holds an infinite number of potential possibilities for others to create from. This is the idea that the Giver always receives the most. It’s been such an honor to share this commitment with you. We hope you’ve enjoyed Volume 2.Track 9 is a montage of “Words to Live By.”Credits include:(in order of appearance)Ana OrrachPhylicia RashadAriana ReinesAretha FranklinGuru JagatAmy KellerGurujas Khalsa—Sound mixed and produced by Jeana DonovanEdited by Jeana Donovan and Amy Keller This is a public episode. A Conversation with Isabel Barreto, Amy Keller and Jeana DonovanIsabel’s commitment to her practice will inspire you. How she’s kept it up will confront you. In her conversation with me and Jeana you’ll hear her dispel the myths of conscious and gentle parenting, why she believes in Meditation for Mamas, how a 40-day personal experiment changed her and her children’s lives, as well as the value in setting strong boundaries, owning your energy and being the leader… whether you want to or not.Like a great leader, she shares the tools to begin your own daily practice while holding you accountable. On a personal note... we loved the way she described our children as the living breathing patterns of our own subconscious. About Isabel BarretoIsabel Barreto is a movement, breathwork and meditation teacher, a folk herbalist, and intuitive earth medicine woman. Isabel has been applying the technology of Kundalini yoga and meditation through practice in her life for over 20 years. Isabel teaches workshops, works one-on-one with clients, and leads a seasonal 40-day movement, breathwork, meditation experience container that aligns with the rhythm of the lunar and earth cycles. A paradox you will find in her replies to nearly every question we asked her in this conversation. Expect to be surprised by how she runs her business, creates her family, and executes with unwavering self-trust.Expect to be surprised by how she runs her business, creates her family, and executes with unwavering self-trust.About Emma Johnston:Mother of five beautiful children and stepmother to her partner’s teenage son, Phoenix, Emma Johnston is also the Co-Founder of The Reconnected and Reconnected Being — a modern, innovative approach to parenting that bridges intuition and neuroscience to connect you with what really matters in your daily life with your kids.
