Description
The Secret Kindergarten is here to support parents of young children. We provide a freedom-minded podcast, for young children (roughly aged 2.5 to 7), that is guaranteed to be free of indoctrination and sinister agendas. There are carefully curated undertones in the content that promote Natural Law principles because The Secret Kindergarten affirms what young children already know. An enjoyable podcast for the whole family that is thought provoking, fun and encourages connecting with our young.
The Secret Kindergarten is created and hosted by Gino Volante, an ex-ECE teacher. Gino wants to see young children bonded with caring adults in the right way. This will affirm their connection with Nature, which will naturally push back against the indoctrination agendas and create a future of freedom for humanity.

The Secret Kindergarten has also a podcast for For Grown-ups, a show created to encourage and support families, friends and communities of young children so we all can be our own "early childhood educators". Check it out on https://thesecretkindergarten.com/ or on the podcast platform where you are now!

The Secret Kindergarten is moving towards live video streaming of the show! In the meantime, you can check out the Revolution.Radio Discord server. You can see the pictures of the book I read live. In this episode, I read, "Shadows of Night: The Hidden World of The Little Brown Bat" by Barbara Bush. Bush's books have fantastic images and nature themes that connect animals and plants to the world of children. I have a fear that I will cause more harm than good by going to video. According to the phenomenal research and writings of Joseph Chilton Pearce, screen time is clearly not good for young children. Yet, screen time is a required tool in the system we have been brought into. One small positive is that screen-time, when shared with the family, is a positive bonding experience if done so occasionally. Screen-time is also proven to be an effective "surrogate" for neglected children. This shows, to me, how damaging neglect can be. The first story with images is symbolic, being a bat. The bat encourages us to face our fears, and overcome them, to bring about dramatic changes. While the bat is a "power animal" for young children everywhere (Batman will always be popular to this age group), I thank the bat for giving me a sign that presenting video is part of a larger change…. and hopefully for the better! I hope that parents sit with their children in front of the screen and find ways to have fun together. I hope that the videos of my show will reach those children who need it the most and provide and element of care that they otherwise would not have received in that moment, for whatever reason.MusicThanks to Nancy Stewart of NancyMusic.comhttps://nancymusic.com/Bed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: gino@thesecretkindergarten.comSupport my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.
At the end of of many shows, we do a group activity for the listeners to the feel connected with one another. This is affirming, especially for young children. The truth of Natural Law is a part of us. It is more a part of us as young children. It is easier for us to live according to Natural Law as young children. With a little bonding from caring adults, we can thrive and live free... and create the freedom many conscious adult wish for us all. Have you seen a three-year-old climb a tree? Have you seen a toddler play near a river? Have you been around young children while they play with hand tools like hammers and saws? Part of us wants to rescue the kids from these kind of "dangers". We want to prevent injury by removing risk. It is hard for an adult to be judged by others when a child is injured under the adult's watch. But, you know what, who cares! Adults are protected by the Creator for letting things flow, letting kids flourish. We need to be supporting and affirming, not removing and preventing. So, stick around till the end of the show. In this show we do a stadium wave! It used to be called a "Mexican Wave" at some point, but someone or something prevents us from saying that now. A stadium wave affirms our interconnectedness. It's an amplifier of the principle of vibration. We are all connected and our individual actions affect the all.MusicThanks to Nancy Stewart of NancyMusic.comhttps://nancymusic.com/Bed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: gino@thesecretkindergarten.comSupport my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.
I was lucky to receive three large boxes of children's books on August the 8th. A notification on Facebook popped up asking for the contact details of a charity shop that would want a bulk lot of children's books. I tried my luck and sent the man a message. The next day, he happily delivered them to me. It was a lucky day! My mind has been fraught with my direction in life. I wonder if I am wasting my time with my work for children. In many ways, I am better off if I get a day job and reduce my time spent on my current projects. It would be a lot easier on things to have an income. Anyway, this month as been a "question mark" month, an identity crisis of sorts. The children's books have been a blessing and a reminder to stay the course! So much so, that I wondered the spiritual significance of August the 8th. A quick search revealed that this day marks the opening of the Lion's Gate Portal, which is considered the most powerful day of the year for manifestation. It's the alignment of the Sun in Leo, Sirius and Orion's Belt and the planet Earth. It's when astrologically inclined people might light a candle for wealth and success. In my opinion, when you do things of service to the children of the world, things manifest for you without having to worry about star alignments. Don't get me wrong, I am interested in astrology, especially in relationship to the phases of the moon. and I'm grateful to be looked after by those unseen forces that want to see me to do good and stay the course.MusicThanks to Nancy Stewart of NancyMusic.com https://nancymusic.com/Bed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: gino@thesecretkindergarten.comSupport my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.
Oscar Wilde's The Selfish Giant symbolises how children require play in nature in order to grow into holistically healthy human beings. Powerful forces in nature come to the aid of families who spend time together outdoors in play. Not only part of Native American philosophy, Rudolf Steiner spoke of nature-connections. He was an inspiration for the "Eco-Spirituality" movement. Children spending time in nature, with their families, brings us back to an ancient time. Indo-Europeans had the nature connection and may have been responsible for the symbolic sequences of Natural Law found in many fairy tales. They also held the children in extremely high regard. The initiation of the child, into the seventh year of age, was a huge ritual and celebration. This, in my opinion, means that the ancient Indo-Europeans understood the importance of the life of the child in the early years.MusicWith thanks to Nancy Stewart: https://nancymusic.com/AudiobooksWilde, Oscar. This episode brings us to the end of the Pinocchio series. It is time to reflect on ethics, morals and the initiation of the young child at the change of their "milk-teeth". When Pinocchio goes against the advice of the fairy, he is choosing to give into worldly temptation, such as going to Toy Land instead of School. Running deeper than the exoteric message to "stay in school kids", the message speaks to spiritual development, which the fairy symbolises. The fairy represents our spiritual powers and our untapped potential related to universal consciousness and our true selves. Toys, on the other hand, represent temptation. Pinocchio, giving up the spiritual work required to grow and develop, gave into temptation and turned into a donkey. The donkey symbolises folly, foolishness and stupidity. There is something to be said about "delayed gratification". Working hard for a reward is tied in with these life lessons of Pinocchio. We need to create a balance of work and play, not to throw the baby out with the bath-water. The concept of initiation is part of this dynamic too: working hard and overcoming challenges, learning from mistakes. Spiritual teaching are often grounded in common sense. Freemasonic or otherwise, the author of Pinocchio deeply understood symbolism and certainly knew a thing or two about how life should be lived.LinksEsoteric Interpretation of Pinocchio:https://vigilantcitizen.com/moviesandtv/the-esoteric-interpretation-of-pinocchio/Jordan Peterson on Pinocchio and the Abandonment of Responsibility:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSiLUddcE6kThe Influence of History on Pinocchio's Morals:https://medium.com/@collinjpitts/strings-attached-the-influence-of-history-on-pinocchios-morals-aea13e53739AudiobooksPinocchio thanks to StoryNory.Comhttps://www.storynory.com/category/classic-authors/pinocchio/Please support Bernie's work!https://www.patreon.com/storynoryBed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/___________The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: gino@thesecretkindergarten.comSupport my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.
Pinocchio, much like the Fool in the Tarot, is pure potential. He shows how it is possible to do the right thing, or the wrong thing in the present moment. This archetype is about choices in a youthful honesty. It is a card that represents creativity too. It is referenced as such in many books. Modern Tarot books suggest it is a great card to show up in a reading. It suggests that you are beginning an adventure and to have fun and just go for it. It may suggest to approach a creative project in an innocent and unconscious way. All of the reasoning for this archetype reminds me of the lives of young children. They should be encouraged and supported to just go for it. They are creative and naive. Perhaps the journey of the Tarot, the heroes journey is supposed to begin in the early years. Imagine how far humanity would advance if this was the case. So, be encouraging and supportive of young children and let them go for it!LinksEsoteric Interpretation of Pinocchio:https://vigilantcitizen.com/moviesandtv/the-esoteric-interpretation-of-pinocchio/Jordan Peterson on Pinocchio and the Abandonment of Responsibility:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSiLUddcE6kThe Influence of History on Pinocchio's Morals:https://medium.com/@collinjpitts/strings-attached-the-influence-of-history-on-pinocchios-morals-aea13e53739AudiobooksPinocchio thanks to StoryNory.Comhttps://www.storynory.com/category/classic-authors/pinocchio/Please support Bernie's work!https://www.patreon.com/storynoryBed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/___________The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: gino@thesecretkindergarten.comSupport my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.
The Secret Kindergarten Radio Show for Young Children Ep. 125 Pinocchio goes out and lives life to the fullest, making many mistakes and trying to get by without responsibilty. He is learning, through experience, that this doesn't work out so well. There is an effect to the cause. There are consequences to actions. All his rough-sawn actions are symbolic of the hand-made wooden puppet that he is... rough around the edges and being smoothed out and honed by life... until he becomes a boy, a real human being. As the story of Pinocchio unfolds, we see the Freemasonic knowledge of the author become more present. Pinocchio's efforts represent a spiritual way of living life by trying to do well, be virtuous, and learn from mistakes to achieve enlightenment.LinksEsoteric Interpretation of Pinocchio: https://vigilantcitizen.com/moviesandtv/the-esoteric-interpretation-of-pinocchio/Jordan Peterson on Pinocchio and the Abandonment of Responsibility: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSiLUddcE6kThe Influence of History on Pinocchio's Morals: https://medium.com/@collinjpitts/strings-attached-the-influence-of-history-on-pinocchios-morals-aea13e53739Audiobooks Pinocchio thanks to StoryNory.Com: https://www.storynory.com/category/classic-authors/pinocchio/Please support Bernie's work! https://www.patreon.com/storynory Bed Tracks and Other Audio Chill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productions https://onsound.eu/ | Music Promoted by https://onsound.eu/"Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/ The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/You can follow the show also on all main podcast platforms (Spotify, Apple Podcast, iHeart, etc.) and on Substack and Odysee. Pinocchio is considered to be, at least in part, an allegory of Italian society in the 19th century. The author, Carlo Collodi, was against the unification of Italy by monarchy in his era. It is considered likely that he was trying to show children the corruption and evil of those adults in positions of power and authority. With so much corruption, allegory and moral lessons contained in a long-standing and most popular children's story... Collodi cared and curated this kind of message to come across. Perhaps Pinocchio has stood the test of time because humanity still hasn't quite learned the lessons that Collodi was trying to teach us. Consider a man that was so informed, concerned and caring that he wrote a masterpiece to try and warn future generations of the kinds of evil that hides in plain sight. His idea of a solution to monarchy may or may not have been correct, but that is beside the point to the work he set out to do with Pinocchio. Pinocchio comes across as an emotional, emphatic work to address a serious emergency, rather than a penned political propaganda.LinksEsoteric Pinocchio:http://www.weepeeple.com/drawer/esotericpinocchiopage.htmJordan Peterson on The Psychology of Pinocchio:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGQS4N0cYWQThe Influence of History on Pinocchio's Morals:https://medium.com/@collinjpitts/strings-attached-the-influence-of-history-on-pinocchios-morals-aea13e53739AudiobooksPinocchio thanks to StoryNory.Comhttps://www.storynory.com/category/classic-authors/pinocchio/Please support Bernie's work!https://www.patreon.com/storynoryBooksWhy Does The Moon Shine So Bright? by Christine Ferrin Lydon:http://artisticpublication.com/Bed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/________The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: gino@thesecretkindergarten.comSupport my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.
Pinocchio is a story of initiation, was written by a politically active Freemason. Can you see the plurality of Pinocchio and the Fool of the Tarot? Of course the story was written in the 19th century, a time of the rise of secret societies and illumination. The mystery traditions hold allegory, symbolism, archetypes and ancient tales in high regard. Pinocchio is certainly a reflection of someone on the path in the esoteric era. I find fables, such as Pinocchio, more frightening than older Fairy Tales. The allegorical stories (fables) perhaps ring a little to true, are too confronting, too close to home. We see our mistakes in them. I believe this is the idea of them. The human mistakes we make, in our lives, resonate with archetypal characters of the Tarot and speak of a deeper or broader issue within ourselves that requires an initiation to overcome. Pinocchio is bursting with initiations, every scene, mistakes are on the horizon within every paragraph! I believe that Pinocchio is certainly an older child's story. Not because it is one of the most disturbing children's stories, but because of the lack of fantasy and a relatively "overt" allegory in comparison to Fairy Tales. This tale of a marionette is one of the most translated stories of all time! It has endured and made a lasting impact on our culture, which says something about the allegory itself. Pinocchio is the Fool in the Tarot, on a hero's journey learning the rules of life by breaking them. Many of us continue to make the same mistakes through our life without initiation into better actions. Pinocchio is a dark story because of the darkness we have inside us, darkness we endure and also have the power to overcome! If a puppet can overcome the darkness, then so can we! There are likely secrets inside the story that will point us in the direction of what we need to overcome inside ourselves to "level up" in our lives. So, which character affects you the most? Which Tarot card does that character represent? These are the aspects of children's Fables and Fairy Tales that bring the adult reader on an explorative journey alongside the children. Everyone benefits from Fable and Fairy Tales.LinksEsoteric Pinocchio:http://www.weepeeple.com/drawer/esotericpinocchiopage.htmJordan Peterson on The Psychology of Pinocchio:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGQS4N0cYWQAudiobooksPinocchio thanks to StoryNory.Comhttps://www.storynory.com/category/classic-authors/pinocchio/Please support Bernie's work!https://www.patreon.com/storynoryBed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/__________________The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: gino@thesecretkindergarten.comSupport my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: gino@thesecretkindergarten.comSupport my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.
Pinocchio is a story of initiation, of striving to overcome darkness and do the right thing. Pinocchio is a character that was weaponised to promote fascism, well after Collodi wrote the story. The 19th century was full of bright, creative and spiritual people. Some of these people created powerful, symbolic art that had such Universal appeal, it could be "hi-jacked" and used for other and perhaps nefarious reasons. It reminds me of how Disney franchise is perceived. A corporate machine using timeless storylines and archetypes for personal gain and potentially disabling our children subversively. I think the importance of highly symbolic and archetypal children's tales is that they are spiritually sustaining and contain accidental or intentional spiritual teachings based on how things naturally work in our shared reality. Evil likes to steel the best, most creative and most powerful ideas. The best creative content in humanity is the Fairy Tale, so we must read Fairy Tales, symbolic stories for children that tap into our soul. We must try harder and do good in the world. Why? Because evil is ever willing to steal and co-opt our ideas. Evil has more time to develop our story for us, because we are busier using our creative capacity!AudiobooksPinocchio thanks to StoryNory.Comhttps://www.storynory.com/category/classic-authors/pinocchio/Please support Bernie's work!https://www.patreon.com/storynoryBed Tracks and Other AudioChill Relaxing Lo-Fi Hip Hop | Born by Alex-Productionshttps://onsound.eu/ | Music promoted by https://onsound.eu/“Cheer Up” by Keys of Moon | https://soundcloud.com/keysofmoonAttribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0)https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/Music promoted by https://www.chosic.com/free-music/all/______The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/The Secret Kindergarten is live every Saturday 2.00pm-3.00pm Eastern Time on Revolution Radio (Studio A): https://www.revolution.radio/.https://thesecretkindergarten.com/For any questions or comments: gino@thesecretkindergarten.comSupport my work: https://thesecretkindergarten.com/about-and-contact/#donations-link.
There is nothing that we cannot do. We can do anything that we put our mind to. We can affect the growth of plants by transferring our intentions and energy onto them, like in The Grape Vine's Story. The lady, in a way, deceives the grapevine to please her. Jack in Jack The Giant Killer shows us that we can outsmart and outplay grown-ups as young children. We can defeat opponents much bigger than us. We need to trick our minds into believing it is all possible and then taking action. Young children are capable of this when they are affirmed and recognised as confident and capable humans. We need to let the young keep their magic and bring it into adulthood to create the kind of world we were meant to live in. Beans are planted on Ascension day, they are associated with wisdom, luck and connecting to higher realms, raising consciousness. Self-defence and justice go hand-in-hand with the symbolism of beans. It's likely that the themes and symbolism, in the stories of Jack and the Beanstalk, are no coincidence. They were created by those of a deep understanding of Natural Law or subconsciously inspired the Creator himself in an act of synchromysticism.Music Nancy Stewarthttps://nancymusic.com/Audio StoriesCook, James Hume (1866-1942). Young children, while clearly in the hands of the spiritual realm, are the life of imagination! The moon card in the Tarot represents the "life of imagination, apart from the life of spirit" according to A.E. Waite. Our imagination is what will get us out of the mess we're in and the children of today are our future. Families could do exceedingly well for their children's future by observing and incorporating the moon's cycles in to their family's life. Imagine what it could do for the development of a child's imagination!AudiobooksHolbrook, Florence (1860 – 1932) “Why There is a Man in The Moon”. The Book of Nature Myths. The Brothers' Grimm Fairy Tale, "Snowdrop", has the following message encoded in it: "For empowerment, success and control of your life - to live your true purpose…. You must: be naive/innocent; have high energy/sustained energy; be knowledgeable about psychology; recognise and work on integrating your shadow; maintain emotional wellbeing by expressing yourself through pursuits in the arts and sciences".MusicSongs by Nancy Stewart of NancyMusic.Comhttps://nancymusic.com/index.htmBooksLang, Andrew (Ed.). Shel Silverstein's "The Giving Tree" is the perfectly crafted story. I don't understand how someone could write a children's story that was so perfect. It certainly is the best book about the relationship between man and tree. It is true that trees are wise and are motivated to serve us and love us unconditionally. We should talk to them and thank them for being here for us!AudiobooksSmith, C. E. “The Horse Chestnut”. Trees Shown to The Children. "Let your imagination fly" and "let your imagination run wild" are phrases, when put together, might bring to mind flying horses. Among other meanings, flying symbolises the imagination. Our imagination resides in the place that embodies young children: the unconscious. Among other definitions, horses symbolise the imagination as well. Two Celtic Fairy Tales, in the episode of The Secret Kindergarten, have flying horses. Both of these stories require the flying horses to achieve goals in dangerous epic quests. The imagination is required in life to live fully, take risks and succeed. Fairy tales promote and affirm the imagination. They take us on immersive explorative journeys and are a form of imaginative play. This is how fairy tales are, in Steiner's words, "nutrition for the soul".AudiobooksGrimm, Jacob & Wilhelm (1785-1863). "The Water of Life". Children's and Household Tales. In the Māori fairy tale, The Wooden Head, we learn that dreamwork was in use in New Zealand in ancient times. We also learn that value was placed on the moments before sleep and the moments before waking. These are occulted times of the day and night, when our beings are in a suggestible state. The protagonist in The Wooden Head asks for advice on his problem situation, he dreams the solution, awakes and knows what he is to do. He has an understanding of the dream space, the otherworld, the space where souls reside. With young children in the alpha brainwave state and largely operating from the original/subconscious brain… this story serves to affirm this space that they are held in by the Creator. This story shows us how we as adults should revere and work with this space as well. This story serves as an affirmation and example for the young and an inspiration for grown ups.AudiobooksGrimm, Jacob & Wilhelm (1785-1863). "Tom Thumb". Children's and Household Tales. "The Valiant Little Tailor" is considered an essential fairy tale for folklorists. What is essential about this tale for young children? The tailor character pops up in a few fairy tales. Consider Steiner, who said fairy tales are "nutrition for the soul", and the fact that fairy tales rich in symbolism. We could say that the symbolism of the tailor provides something for the soul of the child. Tailors make clothes fit, so there is a suggestion of making things in order, or dealing with people that are imperfect, perhaps immoral. The shoe seem to fit with this idea as you will see in the story… the tailor sets out to set things right and gain power and wealth at the same time. I believe the concept of "Tailor Symbolism" in a fairy tale could affirm the spirit of children with The Great Work. Striving in life to do the right thing, raise consciousness of the self and of others. A difficult task in this day and age but we must remain hopeful that The Great Work is something that is possible to live by and still put clothes on the backs of our children.AudiobooksGrimm, Jacob & Wilhelm (1785-1863). Audiobooks are a great alternative to screentime. They increase comprehension. Fairy Tales contain symbolic teachings of universal principles and laws. They contain laws of three that teach us how we can live to be effective and righteous. So if young children listen to audiobooks of Fairy Tales, we are increasing their comprehension of the most important topics encoded in the stories. It's a way to teach Natural Law. When children begin to learn to read, they can volunteer to narrate stories and upload them to librivox.org! this would be a fantastic "positive feedback loop" that promotes living in service to others.AudiobooksGrimm, Jacob & Wilhelm (1785-1863). Animals, plants and minerals communicate with each other, and with humans, in fairy tales. Fact is stranger than fiction!
