Hey, Scaredy Cats! This year, Kaydra from "Perplexity: A Mystery Podcast" invited us, and a bunch of other podcast pals, to participate in a spook-tastic Halloween bonus collab to celebrate her 150th episode!
In it, you'll hear all of us reading some truly spooky stories from around the internet. Chris is the “good reader” in our chemical tent studio, so he takes the reins on this — but Ed was there also.
We hope you all enjoy this Spooky Season bonus content!

DISCLAIMER: THIS BONUS EPISODE IS FILLED WITH SPOILERS FOR THE FILM, “SINNERS,” SO DO NOT LISTEN TO IT BEFORE SEEING THE FILM.
With everyone talking about Sinners these days, it felt weird that it doesn't come up in our Vampires episode, so Ed assembled a crack team of previous SATT guests to have a candid, barely fang-deep chat about the smash hit vampire film… and with Chris unavailable... may God help us.
Huge thanks to Pat Casey, Josh Miller, and Jackson Stewart for returning to SATT HQ at a moment's notice.

This episode has no show notes, but here's cell phone footage of Ellis Paul -- that singer-songwriter Ed was talking about -- singing about Homer, AK.
And the Mary Roach books someone recommended were Fuzz: When Nature Breaks the Law and Animal Vegetable Criminal.

always love a good black eyed kids story.
The 'US-Americans desperate to be seen as Italian' thing is really overdone on this episode. It's always cringe - you're not Italian, regardless of where one of your great grandparents were originally born. Just like plastic paddies are not Irish. You're not special for having ancestors from a European country. Real Europeans find Americans who do this so cringey as fuck. You don't have to shoehorn how 'Italian' Ed is (LOL) into every episode that mentions anything or any one remotely Italian.
I have two fireworks stories. They both took place in or near Hanau, West Germany in 1986 and 1987. Christmas 1986: My buddies and I had purchased holiday fireworks and were participating in the German tradition of shooting or throwing at each other. I had my store of munitions in a messenger bag that was mostly zipped closed when a roman candle ball hit the exhaust port of my death star... the bag didn't explode, but everything inside did. I was able to remove the bag and throw it away.
I can't believe you did an episode on gang stalking without even mentioning L'enfant 😳
guys this is the worst episode ever. where is the scary stuff? why are you deep diving lottery?
lost me in the opening
Is anybody else having issues with this episode being glitchy, randomly skipping forward or backward despite the time tracker running smoothly? Hoping it's not just the Hat Man messing with me 😆
leave three holes my dude. gotta rock this kid and touch his hair and do me a favor and leave my breast bare. shit slaps.
20 minutes in and there is still no mention of the Bermuda Triangle. Too much waffle.
falling through space. dying in space, worst fear.
