Are you a young mom? A single woman? A grandmother? A suffering saint? No matter your season, the Word is for you. Hear from a panel of women doing ministry in various life stages and be encouraged to make Scripture your sustenance in every season.
If God’s Word could spark a reformation in King Josiah’s day, then it’s powerful enough to transform our generation, too. Mary Kassian applies the principles of 2 Chronicles 34 to our context, exhorting us to dismantle idols and return to His Word.
Is God’s Word at the center of your spiritual life, or has it been relegated to the dusty corner? Mary Kassian walks us through 2 Chronicles 34 to help us answer that question, demonstrating the power of Scripture to spark a Josiah moment.
When you’re burdened by the shame of past or present sin, Dannah Gresh says you have a place to turn—your Bible, God’s merciful Word to you. Join us as we learn to wait on the Lord for healing.
If someone asked you to explain the big story of the Bible, what would you tell them? Pastor Kevin DeYoung has some ideas for you. Nine to be exact! We’ll learn about threads woven throughout Scripture.
What if I told you the Bible is a story about children . . . and clothes . . . and coming home? It’s true! The Bible is telling one cohesive story, and Kevin DeYoung shows us it’s woven through with threads that stretch from Genesis to Revelation.
Are you hungry for God’s Word? Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth says the more you eat of it, the more hungry you’ll become. Join Nancy in Psalm 119 to cultivate a delight in God’s Word that transforms us.
Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth read an article that included the Bible in a list of books you don’t need to read. In response, she unashamedly declared God’s Word as her greatest treasure. Join her to behold the wonder in Psalm 119.
When was the last time you sat in silence without scrolling? Consider this episode an invitation to stop filling every quiet moment. Lara d’Entremont and Erin Davis will help you see your need for moments of stillness, even on busy days.
Almost all of us would be quick to say, “I’m busy!” The danger in busyness is it threatens the most important relationship we have—our relationship with the Lord. Hear a message for busy people on rediscovering intimacy with God.
Busy people face certain types of temptation. Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth shares openly about the temptations she faces, even while doing worthwhile things for God. If you’ve let busyness threaten your intimacy with God, Nancy shows you how to return.
Jesus compared the various ways we respond to God’s Word to different kinds of soil. Is the soil of your heart soft and fertile or rocky and unreceptive? Pastor Chris Brooks helps you do some careful analysis based on Luke 8.
People who wear contacts or glasses understand why they do it. They can see better! Pastor Chris Brooks compares the Word of God to corrective lenses that help us see ourselves and the world around us more accurately.
Are you tempted to let your thoughts wander far from where they belong? Gretchen Saffles joins Nancy and Dannah to take us to the words of Jesus and teach us the secret of abiding in Him.
You and I have an amazing tendency to take perfectly good blessings from God and turn them into God-substitutes. As Gretchen Saffles puts it, we start trying to drink from empty wells. We need to return to Jesus, the Fountain of living waters.
Is your spiritual life like a lush, fruitful garden or a dry, thirsty desert? Most are somewhere between these two extremes. Gretchen Saffles shares some tried-and-true ways we can become what she calls “well-watered women.”
What makes your soul truly happy? Nancy helps you consider the only One who can bring you lasting satisfaction, joy, and renewal. According to Psalm 23, He’s your Good Shepherd, and He invites you to rest in Him.
Would you say your life is peaceful and unhurried? I think that’s pretty hard for most of us to say! It’s all too easy to lead cluttered and frantic lives. Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth challenges you to slow down through this reflection on Psalm 23.
Need some practical tips to help you keep a quiet heart? Nancy encourages you to embrace daily quiet time, eliminate unnecessary life clutter, and take your anxieties to the Lord.
Are you anxious today? Nancy encourages you to quiet your heart with truths from Psalm 131. Through prayer and trust in the Lord, you can face even the most desperate circumstances with hope.

I relate to ms watts story...I was just going through the motions of being a Christian...my maturity and growth in Gods word allowed me to see God is with me in my storms...He never promised a life without pain..He promised to walk through the pain with me...my eyes are wide open to His almighty love now...no matter what trials I face I know He is there by my side.

Love these ideas but not everyone has the perfect Christian family. How do we prepare our hearts for thanksgiving when members of the family aren’t invited to gather together because they’re not “Christian” enough? Does 1 Corinthians 5:9-13 apply to Thanksgiving?
