Let's continue with the book "Errol Flynn Slept Here" by Robert Matzen and Micheal Mazzone. It's time for Ch. 9, "Consumed by Mulholland." The famous Mulholland Farm, the house that Errol Flynn built in the early 1940s high in the Hollywood Hills, has now had TWO famous owners - Errol himself and Country music legend Stuart Hamblen. In this episode, both have since left the Farm, and now it's the early 1980's when famous Rock and TV star Ricky Nelson has moved his family in. Almost from the beginning, something doesn't seem right, and Ricky's marriage crumbles under the house's weight. Much like Errol did in his last years at Mulholland, Ricky has to work and tour constantly to keep up with the payments and the lifestyle the house offers. Soon a dark energy begins to consume Rick and his children, and years later, they tell the story of their Dad's decline into darkness. I believe that Meghan Markle told her biggest lie when she was being interviewed by Oprah Winfrey in March 2021. So Madonna is half naked on the old Instagram (again.) Apparently, she has been ramping up the raunchiness for a few years now. Why is this almost 70 year old woman STILL parading around like this, 40 years after she first became famous? Being overtly sexual and "in your face" was always Madonna's "thing" but this is getting sad and ridiculous. Now that the Christmas season is here, I couldn't help but be reminded of one of my favorite stories of all time - Charles Dickens' Masterpiece, "A Christmas Carol." We all know it - the timeless classic where the old miser Ebenezer Scrooge is forced to confront his past and present misdeeds, as well as the frightening reality of what his future may hold if he doesn't change his stringy and cold hearted ways. Let's continue with the book "Errol Flynn Slept Here" by Robert Matzen and Micheal Mazzone. It's time for Ch. 10, called "This OLE House." The famous Mulholland Farm, the house that Errol Flynn built specifically to his liking, to be his castle away from the world, still lived and breathed on for almost 30 years after his death. In this video, we take a look at the new owners and the legacies that they started up at the Farm after the Flynn years. First up is country music legend and gospel cowboy Stuart Hamblen, who moves in after Errol is forced out of his beloved property in the late 1950s. His large family arrives to the house and farm to share laughs and loves for almost two decades - and he brings a decidedly different and more wholesome flair to the original Hollywood "bachlelor pad" that Errol was famous for. In this video, as a 20+ year esthetician,  I explain the potential risks of Meghan's DIY Bath Salt Soak recipe from Episode #1 of her "With Love Meghan" series (Season 1) and why you should NOT try her method for yourself WITHOUT knowledge of essential oils and their potential risks! There MAY be the potential for skin irritations if you use an essential oil ON ITS OWN without using "carrier oils" - and I explain this in detail in the video. In episode 1 of her series, Meghan makes a DIY at home bath salt soak recipe, but I realized that there is potential for someone to get confused with the ingredients she uses. Essential oils are volatile plant compounds that may have the potential to irritate people's skin, especially those who are particularly sensitive! In Ep. 1 of With Love, Meghan, where we see her make up her bath salt recipe, Meghan MAY have used an essential oil MIXED with a carrier oil, BUT she does NOT clarify this-  so I am here to help you minimize the potential risks of making this recipe -advising you on what to do and what NOT to do if you attempt to try this at home.   EDIT - Someone mentioned in my YT comments that she also used Pink Himalayan Salt in her mixture- that is totally FINE to use if you want to! Although note - that Himalayan pink salt does NOT dissolve into water as readily as Epsom salt (due to its chemical composition) so there is a potential that Himalayan pink salt MAY leave someone with dry to very dry to sensitive skin drier after soaking in it. Personally- I wouldn’t bother with the pink salt she uses- save that for other things like cooking if you like that.   ALSO- for those questioning if salt itself is water based - YES - H2O is a major component of salt - and Epsom Salt contains a little over 50% water in its composition.   Here's a much SAFER RECIPE - 1- 2 cups Epsom Salt (measured) Mix very thoroughly into the salt - 1-2 drops of your favorite Essential oil WITH 8-10 drops of a good carrier oil (like jojoba, argan, almond oil, etc.) Put a lid on the mixture and use within 1-3 days max) NOTE  - IF you like and can tolerate a stronger scent and want to use more Essential oil, then remember - for every 1-2 drops of essential oil you add, you MUST remember to add 8-10 more drops of carrier oil as well. I wouldn't recommend using more than 6-8 drops of your ESSENTIAL OIL in total - That way you avoid potential future irritations. When in doubt patch test for at least 24 hours prior to using any kind of oil (essential or not) on your skin- and that goes for any cosmetic preparations!
