They discuss how the current economics stack up and Cammy gets their thoughts on politics.

This week we are joined by Steve Mitchell of The Buffalo Farm in Kirkaldy, Fife. Steve shot to fame after appearing on This Farming Life and has since made other Tv appearances including working alongside Gordon Ramsay.
In this podcast Steve tells us about his journey into buffalo and how he went from flying high to suddenly crashing back down to earth when the business had to enter administration in 2025.

This week we are joined by Jim Shanks. Jim farms in Hawick in the Scottish Borders along with his wife and his parents. There they milk 130 holsteins on robots and also have an aerobic digester which converts the slurry and dung into power for their 4 acres of glasshouses where they grow Tomatoes. They are Scotlands only commercial tomato producer and Jim gives us some fantastic insights into a world we know nothing about.

Derek Stein and his wife Cindy run the Coxhill herd of Beef Shorthorn cattle based at Coxhill Farm, Moffat. Michael Cursiter farms the family farm at Laga Farm on Mainland Orkney. There they run a flock of pure lleyn ewes and also a flock of romney x and pure shetland ewes. He farms along with is wife Ruth, son Sean and brother Martin. Many of you will know Sean from The Sheep Game and This Farming Life.

This week Colin and Issy Laird join us for a walk round Blyth Farm near Peebles. There they milk over 500 holstein cows on Lely robots as well as a handful of Jersey cows. Adam Sinclair is a Stirling lad who used his genetic gifts of size and strength to make it big on the rugby pitch.
