Description

Hey everyone, I am a MA in counseling student getting my degree to become a licensed clinical mental health counselor with an emphasis in marriage, family, and child counseling. I love learning about psychology and therapy concepts and I have a love of anime. Since watching Pokemon and Dragonballz at the tender age of 7, I fell in love with the animation, stories, and fights, on this channel I bring my two loves together to talk about different anime characters from a clinical perspective and analyze their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

The Ego in Blue Lock

In this episode, I explore the themes and messages in the popular sports anime, Blue Lock. Is the Ego really necessary to be the greatest?
The dynamic between Gon and Killua is truly interesting. What makes them want to be friends? What makes any of us want to be friends with other people? In this episode, Sabrina and I talk about Gon and Killua's childhood and the dichotomies Togashi presents in Gon and Killua. They are so very similar and opposites at the same time. We also talk about the power of friendship. Everyone who grew up watching Pokemon or Yugioh understands the power of friendship!
This episode I'm talking about Moeka from Stein's Gate and her immaturity, selective mutism and loneliness.
WARNING: This content contains lots of triggering and activating topics talking about Hisoka. Topics discussed are around if Hisoka has Antisoical Personality Disorder, Sexual Sadism Disorder, Pedophilia, Compulsive Lying, and if he is a minor attracted person (MAP). Hisoka is a complex character that is mysterious and has a lot of depth to him. What do think about our conceptualization of Hisoka?
In this episode I discuss my conceptualization of two very interesting characters in the series; Misa Amane and Teru Mikami. These two are Kira worshippers and are willing to do everything Light tells them. I go into detail about their history and backgrounds as well as ideas of celebrity worship syndrome (CWS) Stan culture and the idea of parasocial relationships and how all these things tie into their personalities and behaviors. I also talk about some pretty scary stories involving real life examples of people who probably had CWS.  Do you think these characters have CWS?
Don't be mad, it's just my opinion...
In this episode, I dive into Light's character, his personality and some popular claims of him having narcisistic personality disorder, antisocial personality disorder, and malignant narcissism. Is Light a narcisist?
Let's take a look at Sasuke Uchiha and how we might conceptualize his behaviors and emotions. What disorders do you think Sasuke has? In this episode I'll analyze some internet claims and talk about why I think he has Conduct Disorder and PTSD.
