Nancy, Bess and George head to Maine to visit with their former elementary school teacher, who is caring for her niece after her father has mysteriously gone missing at sea. The coastal town is inviting enough, but secrets abound at every turn. Laura Braden claims to have seen her father, even though he went missing at sea nearly 6 months ago. Nancy suspects a kidnapping, but when the actors' talent agents won't believe her and hotel security is doubtful of any real crime, Nancy is left to solve the case herself! Hello True Drews! On this week's episode, we discuss book #86 The Mystery of Misty Canyon, which is honestly, Secret of Shadow Ranch 2.0. (I think I also compared book #62 The Kachina Doll Mystery to classic mystery #5 and I still stand by that too!) Nancy, Bess and George head to the Calloway Ranch in Montana to help out a friend, but find mystery instead! Renegade, a Bronco on the ranch, seems set on causing nothing but problems, causing tension with people who work at the ranch, and Tammy, the owner, may lose the ranch because of some prior financial investments her father made before he passed. It's all up to Nancy, Bess and George to solve the case! I hope you all enjoy this episode!
Hello True Drews!For this week's episode, we explore spooky cemeteries and mausoleums in book #85 The Secret of Shady Glen! Nancy and Bess primarily team up in this mystery--George makes some brief appearances--as River Heights is racked by burglaries and home invasions. Expensive things are going missing--are the Rollinses, a recently released couple of thieves, guilty of the robberies? Or is something else going on? And can Nancy help Joanna and Josh Williams, a single mother and son whom Bess occasionally babysits for? Only time will tell! Nancy finds herself at Captain's Cove Amusement Park in New Jersey, hired by Paula Santos to investigate some recent hauntings in the park. A rollercoaster suddenly stopping, resulting in a lawsuit, a missing carousel horse and the carousel even turning on by itself in the middle of the night. Could the park be haunted? Nancy finds herself in the center of a very intriguing case, involving missing diamonds, a woman who has possibly been unfairly imprisoned, and the death/possible disappearance of a famous writer! Nancy quickly discovers that there's more to this case than meets the eye: a retirement home that may be a front for nefarious activities, a famous missing boxer and a terrorist plot against the foreign minister from the UK!
