The state of Texas is set to execute 58-year-old Robert Roberson next week, but his attorneys have filed a last minute request for a new trial based on a recent Dateline podcast. Roberson would be the first person to ever be put to death for shaken baby syndrome, following the 2002 death of his 2 year old daughter Nikki. The science he was convicted on is no longer regarded and is considered “junk science.”  That information alone brought lawmakers from both sides of the aisle to intervene last year, to stay his execution, but that stay is up and Roberson time is up. Now, baby Nikki’s maternal grandfather is speaking up, telling a story, if true, of egregious conduct by the judge in this case from the hospital where Nikki died, all the way to the courtroom he presided over in Roberson’s trial.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

It’s a true crime headline that seems nearly impossible to believe, and yet, 31-year-old Brittany Fortinberry has been charged with 47 charges including 14 counts of sexual misconduct with a minor.  A 15-year-old boy came forward this past spring, and now 6 months later at least 10 underage boys have told similar accounts of being drugged, forced into sexual acts and threatened with violence. To make matters worse, Fortinberry’s husband apparently knew what was going on has been charged with intimidation and failure to report a crime. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

50 months for Diddy

50 months for Diddy

2025-10-0332:03

Despite begging the judge for mercy and a second chance at being a better father and son, Sean “Diddy” Combs will spend the next 3 years behind bars. Judge Arun Subramanian told Diddy that he took into account his philanthropy and the positive impact he’s had on his community, but that “a history of good works can’t wash away the record in this case, which shows that you abused the power and control over the lives of women who you professed to love.”  See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Diddy broke down in tears as his children testified on his behalf during his sentencing hearing today.  The morning did not go well for the music mogul, with the judge ruling against him on several motions, and the prosecution revealing in a jaw dropping moment that Diddy had already booked speaking engagements in Miami starting next week, calling it “the height of hubris.”See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Amy and T.J. read and react to Diddy’s 4 page, last minute letter to the judge deciding his fate later today. As we all await his official sentencing, we hear Diddy apologize for the first time since he was arrested, explain his inhumane prison conditions and humbly ask the judge for mercy. But is his sorry good enough to sway the judge?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

As a teenager I was in love with my first boyfriend. It was intoxicating, no other word would do. So, when he broke up with me I was so crushed! God, I loved him!! Then, according to my mother, I should have learned something valuable during the relationship. I don't recall learning anything except Love Hurts like nothing else. Amy/TJ, what have either of you or both of you learned from the last relationship you were in? Would love to hear your response in an episode of your Podcast. Thanks!

I've watched you both for as long as you were on GMA. I've enjoyed you and your stories and I also saw that "White Hot Chemistry" between the 2 of you on GMA3! Good Lord! Poor Dr. Jen 🤣 I'm glad she had her upcoming wedding to ponder while you two stole the show with the Flirting Flirting Flirting! If those ABC Exc. didn't catch that during the time you were still working, so they could address it then and reference some policy about no dating, it's their own fault! I'm loving this Podcast!

I'm so sorry you had to go through this. The media is horrible. I have certain things happening with me and I feel hopeless because of my own consequences. I love you and TJ. I couldn't believe how GMA did you all. ❤️❤️❤️
