Even though some TSA workers received their first paychecks in 6 weeks Monday, tens of thousands of other DHS employees are still without pay. The White House announced an offer late yesterday to lawmakers who are on a 2 week Easter recess. President Trump will host a big Easter Dinner at the White House if Congress will come back to D.C. to make a deal.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
It appears some members of Congress aren’t concerned with optics, enjoying their spring breaks while TSA workers are wondering when they’ll get paid and for how long. Lawmakers left D.C. after failing to fund DHS for more than 6 weeks, heading out for a two week vacation. TMZ has asked Americans to send photos of lawmakers enjoying their Easter recess, and they’ve already captured members of Congress in Vegas and Disney World. We are waiting for word from the courts, after DNA that attorneys say could exonerate convicted murderer James Duckett, came back as inconclusive. Duckett has been on death row for nearly 40 years for the rape and fatal drowning of an 11-year-old girl. His attorneys are arguing for more time, so another lab can examine the results and give a conclusive finding before his scheduled execution, originally set for tomorrow, March 31st.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Last night President Trump held a press gaggle on Airforce One where he said there has been regime change in Iran. Trump claimed we are now negotiating with a third group of leaders and that we’re doing “extremely well.” While he made a strange pivot to ballroom architectural plans, Trump also talked about that “gift” Iran is giving us, and said they are giving us everything we’re asking for, even though Iran has publicly said there are no negotiations and their military is waiting to set our troops on fire.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
We have a blast going over the top new dating trends of 2026 as so many people continue to look for their soulmates. While the names of these trends may be clever and new, think “Zip Coding” and “Chalance”, the concepts have been around forever! We ask, are you looking for a “golden retriever boyfriend” or how about a “black cat” girlfriend? Bottom line, relationships are hard, and while labels might make us feel seen, we all want the same thing… to find our person. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
As the holiest week for Catholics and Christians around the world begins today on this Palm Sunday, the first American Pope had some powerful words for U.S. and Israeli leaders: “Cease Fire!” Pope Leo told his faithful that it’s absurd to claim that problems and disagreements can be resolved through war, while Hegseth prayed for “overwhelming violence” to our enemies. Meantime, significant preparations have been made to escalate the conflict with Iran, the U.S sending 2500 more troops to the region before President Trump makes his decision whether to begin a ground invasion.”See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
After a trip back home to Atlanta, we spent some quality time with Mama Robach and it sparked a “when are we getting married conversation.” We have to admit, we’ve not spoken AT ALL about wedding plans and wondered how long is too long?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Senate and the House rejected each other’s bills late yesterday, then headed home for Easter, leaving DHS unfunded for at least another 2 weeks. While President Trump signed an order to pay TSA workers, it’s unclear when they’ll be paid, how much they’ll be paid, and for how long?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The clock is ticking in Florida after the state Supreme Court voted to pause the execution of former police officer, James Aren Duckett. Duckett was convicted of raping and murdering an 11-year-girl back in 1987. After nearly 40 years on death row, Duckett’s attorneys say the new testing could exonerate the client and the court gave prosecutors until 5 pm today to give a status update on results from the new DNA testing.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Houston police say they have finally solved a 36-year-old murder mystery, after a tip and DNA evidence led them to the man they say is the killer responsible for the “Lover’s Lane Murders.” 64-year-old Floyd Willis Parrott is charged with murder for viciously killing 22-year-old Cheryl Henry and 21-year-old Andy Atkinson back in 1990. The two young lovers were parked in a secluded area when police say Parrott tied them up and slit their throats. We have their families’ reaction at finally seeing an arrest in this case. It took the pressure of an Easter vacation to get lawmakers to finally fund DHS and get long overdue paychecks to TSA workers. Around 2am ET, the senate passed a version of a spending package that would fund the agency, minus ICE and border patrol. The House still has to pass the senate’s version, but that’s expected later today. This all comes after President Trump announced last night that he would pay TSA workers to stop the chaos at the airports.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
70-year-old Howie Mandel called out Kelly and Mark this week for saying that he looks great, right after he told them his age. Mandel compared it to someone saying “You’re smart for a stupid person.” It got us thinking about how many other backhanded compliments we’ve received over the years, and there are a plenty. Also, we go over a very simple way to avoid ever making someone uncomfortable while trying to say something nice… there are at least three words you should NEVER include in a compliment. Today co-anchor Savannah Guthrie sat down with Hoda Kotb for her first interview since her 84-year-old mom Nancy went missing 54 days ago. Savannah talked about the disbelief and chaos in the first few days after Nancy disappeared, and the almost immediate conclusion she and her siblings came to: that Nancy was likely kidnapped for ransom. Savannah goes on to say she believes the two ransom notes she and her siblings responded to in videos were legitimate. She also says she believes that her fame, and the knowledge of her high income, probably enticed the kidnapper to take her mom in the middle of the night.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The House Oversight Committee has called the prison guard who last saw Jeffrey Epstein alive to answer several outstanding questions surrounding the events leading up to his death. Lawmakers wanted Tova Noel to testify today on Capitol Hill, but her attorney announced she would not be testifying this week and is negotiating now with Congress. Lawmakers have specific questions they want answered including large deposits made into her bank account, internet searches she made on the night of Epstein’s death and a late night “orange blob” seen on surveillance camera leading to Epstein’s cell block.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

someone forced them to watch? Did Mom hide the remote?
do those same Tennessee and Florida congressmen have an issue with parents letting their children stay up that late on a school night? this is so stupid!! Mr Tennessee and Mr florida...if you let your school age children stay up that late, that's your fault! this is so stupid!! there was absolutely nothing vulgar that happened in that halftime show. smh.
I look forward to each episode. I have been a fan from the first one. Thank you for sharing your story with us. I love how you guys share the good the bad and the everyday parts of your life. 🛥️Yacht rock for life!!!
As a teenager I was in love with my first boyfriend. It was intoxicating, no other word would do. So, when he broke up with me I was so crushed! God, I loved him!! Then, according to my mother, I should have learned something valuable during the relationship. I don't recall learning anything except Love Hurts like nothing else. Amy/TJ, what have either of you or both of you learned from the last relationship you were in? Would love to hear your response in an episode of your Podcast. Thanks!
Does he still have his toe nails?
I've watched you both for as long as you were on GMA. I've enjoyed you and your stories and I also saw that "White Hot Chemistry" between the 2 of you on GMA3! Good Lord! Poor Dr. Jen 🤣 I'm glad she had her upcoming wedding to ponder while you two stole the show with the Flirting Flirting Flirting! If those ABC Exc. didn't catch that during the time you were still working, so they could address it then and reference some policy about no dating, it's their own fault! I'm loving this Podcast!
Very educational, Thank you 👍🏽💯

I'm so sorry you had to go through this. The media is horrible. I have certain things happening with me and I feel hopeless because of my own consequences. I love you and TJ. I couldn't believe how GMA did you all. ❤️❤️❤️
Out with the old, in with the new. Just another lust story.
I have always been a fan and remain a fan!! I am sure it took a boatload of courage to do this. Kudos to you both! im looking forward to the next podcast. I wish you only love!❤️
