While in Johto, Ruby and Shea decided to wrap up the Ruins of Alph and explore the rest of Slowpoke Well. Then they head back to Pewter City and work their way south through sparse Viridian Forest, Viridian City (Fight Club), and to Pallet Town. There we visit Red's mom, Blue's sister, and talk with Professor Oak who promises us something if we get all 8 of the Kanto Badges. Surfing south we find the the ruins of Cinnibar Island and are led to find a small cave on Seafoam Islands where we can battle Blaine for our 15th badge. Time to tackle another Kanto gym...but before that can happen we need to find a way to move Snorlax out of the way! A revisit to Lavender Town helps us out there. It doesn't take us long to get to Pewter City and Brock's gym.
