Why Do I Write?

Why Do I Write?

2024-06-1406:54

Welcome to the finale of Season 1 of The Astrotherapy Podcast! It has been a great run, and I’ll be going deep within to come back out with new explorations and inner adventures to share. Now is the time for change! This episode is an inquiry into writing as a doorway into the moment. Writing has been a vehicle for helping me to integrate my inner process, which I’ve shared weekly over the past 6 years without pause. I currently find myself at a 7-road intersection with many choices. Dreams are coming to fruition and audacious visions that began as seeds are slowly sprouting. In a world full of chaos, there is still beauty, there is still possibility…
This Gemini New Moon indicates a strong shift in awareness that only Saturn, Lord of Karma can bring. A sobering reality check will be just the gravitational pull some may seek with so much air stirred up by Jupiter in Gemini. If you are feeling light on your feet and without much earth to ground you, perhaps this Saturn weight will help you align with your true heart's desire. Venus conjunct the Sun and Moon blesses this otherwise challenging moment and offers a soothing balm while navigating this cycle.
What could be more powerful than knowing thyself? As they say, know thyself, and you shall know the Universe and its Gods. One such avenue of exploration is through astrology to understand your psychology. The inner world is a vast, undiscovered terrain, and there are many approaches an inner explorer may take. Astrology is a map for deeper understanding. As you study the language of the stars, the stars themselves begin to reveal something much deeper than you could imagine…this episode is just the beginning.
Playful?

Playful?

2024-05-1508:44

Remember how to play? Once upon a time that is all you wanted to do. And honestly, that was most likely your biggest responsibility at the time. And can you remember that insatiably curious nature of yours that loved to ask why everything is the way it is? It is a powerful practice to revisit these potentially far-off lands that still exist deep within us. Journey inward with me and explore what may be in the way of reclaiming some of that freedom found in approaching life with more play. What do you have to lose?
A new beginning is on the horizon, the beginning of something extraordinary. Can you feel it? A Taurus new moon is one of fecund and fertile soil for planting seeds of vision, projects, health, and wealth. And this moon is amplified, blessed by the most benefic planetary bodies in our galactic neighborhood. What happens in Taurus does not stay in Taurus as this new moon's unpredictable and electric impact will ripple with magnitude and staying power. What seeds of change are you planting?
Oh So Subtle?

Oh So Subtle?

2024-05-0110:23

Venus moving through Taurus inspires me to share my commitment to a new (to me) and very ancient embodied practice, the art of Qi Gong. Working with energy on the other hand is not new as a lifetime yogi, and yet this is a completely new terrain that I am beyond thrilled to be discovering. Mars in Aries will give us plenty of energy to work with, so why not work with it consciously? Enjoy this episode and may it fuel curiosity within your potential to deepen your enthusiasm and dedication to exploring your Being.
Behold the Full Scorpio Moon in a T-Square with Pluto in Aquarius. This is not a time to run and hide, this is a time to face the music. Be bold, be daring, go deep, and relish in the opportunity to seize the day from within. This should be a holiday for inner work and I encourage each of us to celebrate it as if it is. Pluto is asking some hard questions that will illuminate your intimate shadowlands as you search for the answers. Let yourself relax back into the green pastures of your Taurus realm while you serve your egos up for review. What a great time to learn how to self-observe rather than self-indulge. Blessings!
What Isn't Changing?

What Isn't Changing?

2024-04-1512:24

Change is a curious state of being. How much of your current POV is focused on the changes in your life? I am asking this question around what isn’t changing because I truly can’t find anything that isn’t molting, transforming, twisting, turning, uprooting, or revealing something new in every area of my reality. This recent eclipse portal certainly invited change by eclipsing out the old and as they say…in with the new? And the stars are conducive for change right now, sit back, “relax” and expect the unexpected!
Why is everyone talking about this eclipse? A Total Solar New Moon Eclipse in Aries is something to talk about, and more than talk, it is a cosmic event that reverberates on a physical, mental, emotional, energetic, and potentially a spiritual level if you are working in that realm. Conjunct Chiron and Mercury Rx, this signifies the end of past ways of being in relationship and the beginning of a new outlook that is unique for your life. Now is a time of listening for your inner guidance to emerge in the form of clarity.
