In this episode, I’m sharing something powerful I’ve noticed after interviewing hundreds of the leading wellness, beauty, skin and business experts on The Face Yoga Expert Podcast.
Across different backgrounds, specialties, and approaches, the same core habits come up again and again.
These are simple, daily practices but they are also the foundation of long-term health, glowing skin, balanced energy, and a calm, focused mind.
If you’ve ever wondered what truly makes a difference (without overwhelm), this episode is for you.
The 5 Things All Wellness Experts Have in Common
1. They take quiet space every day
Whether it’s meditation, breathwork, journaling, or simply a few moments of stillness, they prioritise time to reset their nervous system and connect inward.
2. They move their body daily
This doesn’t have to mean intense workouts—it’s about consistency. From walking to yoga to strength training, daily movement supports circulation, energy, and overall wellbeing.
3. They focus on prevention over cure
Rather than waiting for symptoms to appear, they take proactive steps to support their health—through lifestyle, nutrition, skincare, and holistic practices.
4. They prioritise sleep and recovery
Rest is non-negotiable. Deep sleep, relaxation, and recovery are seen as essential—not optional—for both physical health and skin vitality.
5. They stay curious and keep learning
They are always open. Always evolving. Always learning—whether that’s through research, personal development, or new wellness practices.
If this episode resonates, I’ve created something to help you go deeper into one of the most important pillars—sleep and recovery.

In this week’s episode of The Face Yoga Expert Podcast, I’m sharing a powerful concept that has shaped not only my business over the last 20+ years, but also my mindset, growth and success, The 5% Shift.
So often, we think we need to make huge changes to see big results.
But in reality, it’s the small, consistent, intuitive shifts that truly create lasting transformation.
In this episode, I talk about how building a successful personal brand and business doesn’t come from burnout, overwhelm or drastic action, it comes from tuning into your intuition, taking aligned steps, and repeating them consistently.
This is exactly how I’ve built The Face Yoga Expert into a global wellness brand through small, intentional up-levels over time.
In this episode, I share:
What the 5% Shift really means and how to apply it to your life and business
Why small changes can be the tipping point for big results
The importance of listening to your intuition in business decisions
How to take aligned action rather than forced or frantic action
Why consistency beats intensity every time
How to avoid overwhelm and build success in a sustainable way
Real examples of how I’ve used the 5% Shift to grow my brand, courses and community
How you can start making your own 5% shifts today
Key Takeaway
You don’t need to change everything overnight.
Just focus on a small 5% up-level — and repeat it consistently.
That’s where the magic happens.

Tomorrow (23rd February) I turn 44… and as I always do on my birthday, I pause, reflect and ask myself:
What have I learnt?
What do I know to be true?
Who have I become?
In this week’s solo episode, I share the reflections, lessons, inspirations and deeper understandings I’ve gained over 44 years of life, business, motherhood, wellness and growth.
Birthdays feel like energetic portals to me, a moment to honour where we’ve been and consciously choose where we’re going. In this very personal episode, I open my heart and share the 44 life lessons that have shaped me the most.
These lessons span intuition, health, business, healing, family, energy, confidence, ageing and purpose, and I hope at least one of them lands exactly where you need it.
Here are the 44 life lessons I’ve learned in 44 years:
Trust your intuition.
Always be kind.
Friends and family are the most important thing.
Everything is energy.
Listen to your body.
When your mind is stuck, move your body.
When your body feels stuck, move your mind.
Every physical ailment has an emotional onset.
Let go of perfection.
Consistency is key.
The greatest business advice: always be of service.
Say thank you as much as you can.
Rest is productive.
Slow growth is still growth.
Be in nature more.
Age is just a number.
Breathe deeper and slower.
Your story can heal others.
Be here now.
Confidence is built, not born.
Protect your peace.
Small rituals create big change.
Eat more plants.
Comparison steals joy.
Your work should serve your life, not run it.
Education creates freedom.
Natural skincare nourishes your skin.
Simplicity is underrated.
Celebrate the small wins.
Quick fixes rarely work in the long term.
Get comfortable with being uncomfortable.
Say no if it isn’t right for you.
Your voice matters
Healing is not linear.
Energy attracts energy.
Find joy.
Trust the timing.
Have more fun.
Nourish from the inside out.
Walk more.
Be yourself.
Use visualisation daily.
Gratitude changes everything.
Keep going — your best years are still to come.
This episode is honest, reflective and deeply personal. It’s about growth without perfection. Success without burnout. Wellness without extremes. And ageing with gratitude.
If you’re navigating change, building something meaningful, healing, raising a family, growing a business or simply trying to live with more alignment — this conversation is for you.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for walking this journey with me.

In this episode, I’m sharing one of my favourite simple yet powerful self-care tools for both skin and wellbeing, the jade roller.
We explore where jade rolling originates from, why it has been used for centuries in traditional beauty rituals, and how this gentle practice can support not just your skin, but your nervous system too.
I talk about the real benefits of jade rolling, including how it supports lymphatic drainage to reduce puffiness and fluid retention, boosts circulation to bring oxygen and nutrients to the skin, and helps release facial tension held in areas like the jaw, forehead and around the eyes.
You’ll learn why jade rolling can help the face look smoother, fresher and more sculpted over time not by forcing change, but by supporting the body’s natural systems in a kind and consistent way.
In this episode, I specifically talk about using a jade roller alongside the Fusion by Danielle Collins Pro Lift Moisturising Serum, a botanical-rich formula designed to hydrate, support skin elasticity and enhance glow. When paired with gentle rolling, this kind of serum creates the perfect glide while deeply nourishing the skin.
The exciting thing about this episode is that if you’re watching on YouTube, there’s a full five-minute Jade roller Face Yoga tutorial that you can follow along with. I show you exactly how to use a Jade roller through simple, effective facial massage techniques to boost self-love, relax facial tension, improve circulation and naturally lift and sculpt the skin.
You can listen to the episode while following the tutorial, making it a beautiful self-care ritual for both your skin and your wellbeing.
If you’re listening on your favourite podcast platform, you can still enjoy the episode in audio form and then head over to YouTube whenever you’d like to try the Jade roller routine visually.

In this week’s solo episode of the Face Yoga Expert Podcast, I’m sharing my personal journey with Face Yoga and why it has been such an important part of my life for over 20 years.
I’ve been teaching Face Yoga to millions of people around the world, in person, online and on TV, but what many people don’t realise is that I also have my own daily Face Yoga practice and have done consistently for the past two decades.
In this episode, I talk about why I still practise Face Yoga every day, how it continues to support me personally, and why I truly plan to continue this practice for another 20, 40, and hopefully even 60 years!
I share how Face Yoga has helped me to naturally lift and sculpt my face, support healthy circulation, and keep my skin looking brighter, fresher and more radiant. I also discuss the emotional and mental benefits, including how Face Yoga helps me feel more grounded, calm and connected to myself.
We also explore the ageing process and why I believe having a positive, mindful relationship with ageing is one of the most powerful things we can do for our confidence and wellbeing. For me, Face Yoga isn’t about trying to look younger, it’s about ageing consciously, naturally and with self-love.
Finally, I talk about why Face Yoga is such an important part of my overall wellness and self-care routine, alongside movement, breath, skincare and mindfulness and why I see it as a lifelong practice, not a quick fix.
The exciting thing about this episode is that if you’re watching on YouTube, there is a full Face Yoga tutorial you can follow along with. I demonstrate facial exercises and facial massage techniques designed to boost lift, relax facial tension, improve circulation and leave your skin looking brighter and more radiant.

This is an intuitively led, open and honest solo episode where I share what came through for me around the energy of 2026.
Rather than something planned or logical, this episode was recorded from a place of deep inner knowing. I reflect on what we have collectively moved through, what is being released, and what feels ready to emerge as we move into 2026.
In This Episode, I Talk About:
Why 2025 has felt like a year of shedding, release and letting go
How the energy of the Year of the Snake invited us to clear what no longer felt aligned
Why early 2026 still carries a gentle clearing and awareness phase
The role of self-worth, fear and limitation beliefs coming to the surface
The shift into the Fire Horse energy and what that means for movement, momentum and action
Why spring 2026 feels like a time of collective blossoming and expansion
The rise of the divine feminine as embodied strength, intuition and inner knowing
Why 2026 is about remembering who you truly are, not becoming someone new
This episode is an invitation to slow down, listen inward and trust yourself as you move into the year ahead.
Sending you love and happiness for 2026.

In this week’s solo episode of The Face Yoga Expert Podcast, I break down the five key areas of Face Yoga and how you can use them in 2026 to support glowing skin, natural lifting, and better overall wellbeing. Face Yoga is so much more than a few exercises- it’s a holistic method that works from the inside out, helping you feel good in your face and body every day.
I talk through each area in detail:
Facial Exercise
How to strengthen, tone and lift the muscles in the face for natural radiance and definition.
Facial Massage
Why massage increases circulation and boosts lymphatic drainage for healthier, more sculpted skin.
Facial Acupressure
How working with acupoints can release tension, improve energy flow and support skin health.
Facial Relaxation
The importance of letting go of habitual facial tension to soften lines naturally.
Wellbeing
How lifestyle, breath, posture, and inner balance affect your face just as much as topical routines.
I also share simple and realistic ways you can apply all five areas to your daily life in 2026, even if you’re busy. With small consistent habits, you can make a noticeable difference to how your skin looks and how you feel.

In this week’s solo episode of The Face Yoga Expert Podcast, I’m chatting to you all about the power of intention words. Every year I choose one word to guide me- a theme, a feeling, or a vibe that I want to bring into all areas of my life. For me, this has always felt more powerful (and far more enjoyable!) than traditional New Year’s resolutions. Instead of rules and pressure, it becomes an invitation to embody something meaningful each month, all year long.
In this episode, I share:
The intention word I chose for 2025
Why I picked it and how I hoped it would shape my year
Whether I feel I met or embodied that intention
What I’m considering for my 2026 intention word
The value of also having a summary word
What my summary word is and why it matters
A summary word is different from an intention word, it’s a word that reflects the year you’ve just experienced or even the last few months. It captures how life has felt and what you want to carry forward into the next chapter. It may not be the focus for the new year, but it’s a feeling or vibe that still deserves space as you move forward.
If you’re looking for a gentle but powerful ritual to set the tone for your year, this episode will inspire you to choose your own intention word and summary word, and help you bring more purpose, presence, and alignment into your daily life.
