During our May monthly gathering, our TMP leaders had a candid conversation reflecting on what God has been doing in their lives amid COVID-19. May their revelations encourage you and help you see what God is doing in your life. God bless you!
When we can no longer find comfort in sports and entertainment, where will we run to? When we can no longer find security in our job and income, where will we run to? When the fear of death is all around us, who will we turn to? In this month's message, we see God is shaking that which can be shaken. So let us find solid ground in His presence and in His kingdom.
Hebrews 12:26-29 (ESV)
"At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, "Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens." This phrase, "Yet once more," indicates the removal of things that are shaken-that is, things that have been made-in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship, with reverence and awe, for our God is a consuming fire."
At this month's gathering, The Meeting Place partnered with The Circuit Riders to host a Regional Worship Night. Will and Sammy shared this month's sermon, focusing on worship and putting aside our labels, logos, and egos to come together as the body of Christ to glorify God for who He is. Be blessed as you hear the Word of the Lord.
Due to technical difficulties, the beginning of this month's sermon was not captured. The audio begins with Dennis Cole speaking to us about the Great Awakening and how it birthed this nation. Throughout the sermon, Dennis emphasized how we must prioritize the presence of God. In our daily lives and as a local and global church, we must prioritize the presence of God. Be blessed as you hear the Word the Lord.
At this month's gathering, we looked at the life of David in 1 Samuel 23 and 24. While David and his men were hiding in a cave from Saul and his army, David had an opportunity to save himself and his men. However, knowing the Lord's plan, David restrained himself and left Saul to be. In hindsight, we see that the Lord was preparing David's character to become a king. When we find ourselves cornered, know that the Lord's plan for you is still in motion.
Will Chung spoke on Psalm 139, explaining that God’s love is too good to be true. Through David’s eyes we see that the entirety of God’s love is so grand that no one can fully understand it. However, oftentimes, we as Christians tend to hide ourselves from God because we feel undeserving or shameful to even be in His presence. But God sees us entirely even in between the lines and still calls us back to His heart. In fact, God cannot love us any more or less because He already loves us infinitely.
During the November monthly gathering, Pastor Del Augusta spoke about the life of King David and his passion for God. King David's worship was an expression of exuberance for God but was seemingly undignified in the eyes of man. However, the Lord saw King David's worship as an expression of his love. May you be blessed as you hear this sermon and may the Lord stir a greater passion in your hearts for Him!
Yesterday’s message was a reminder to seek success in the eyes of God and not man. How can we tell if we are seeking one or the other? The success that the world promises creates reactive beings whereas success in the eyes of God compels a response to the leadership of the all sovereign God. David is a great example of one who prioritized God’s Presence which was found pleasing to God. Furthermore, a better David is found in Jesus Christ. The one and only who submitted himself to the Father’s will as well as obeyed wholeheartedly.
For this month's TMP prayer gathering, we continued on with our series of the life of David. We took a closer look at King Saul and saw how his failure to obey God completely was what disqualified him being Israel's king. We too make the same excuses as Saul, thinking we can manage and manipulate God. But God is to obeyed and glorified for He is the King of kings. We hope this message blesses you!
"The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him." 2 Chronicles 16:9
At this month's prayer gathering, we learned how to respond to discouragement through the life of Joshua. The Lord knew when entering the promise land, Joshua would face impossible enemies. Yet, the Lord encouraged Joshua to "be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)
For this month's prayer gathering, we saw how King David learned how to pursue God in the right way. David's response to God's presence and grace, was worship and gratitude. We hope this message blesses you!
At this month's prayer gathering, Dennis Cole preached from 1 Samuel 13. We learned how important it is for believers to seek intimacy with God. We have been called to a life that is willing to do anything in order to have intimacy with God. We hope this message blesses you!
Continuing with our series on the life of David, we talked about Saul's jealousy towards David. Jealousy deeply affects us today, too. This month, we learned we can overcome jealousy when we embrace the assignment and season God has called us to and when we find our worth and purpose in God. We hope this message is a blessing to you!
This month's TMP prayer gathering is about the work of perseverance. When there are trials and hardships, we are called to persevere. While we are persevering, God is doing a work in our souls and character. We hope this message blesses you!
This month's TMP prayer gathering focuses on moving forward in life and in faith. When we feel like we are stuck and cannot do what God is telling us to do, God still wants us to keep moving forward. We hope message blesses you and your journey with God!
We continue our series on the life of King David for this month's TMP prayer gathering. God appoints divine relationships to us so that we may fulfill our callings and look more like Christ. We hope this message blesses you!
We took a break from our series on King David for this month's TMP prayer gathering. This month, we focused on the life of Abraham and his obedience to God. We hope this message blesses you!
This month's TMP prayer gathering continues on in the life of King David. We see that our courage can come only from Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. May you take courage in Him this week!
For our 3rd sermon in the series on King David, we learned that in God's presence there is nothing to prove and nothing to lose--just love and acceptance as we are. We hope this message blesses you!
