The Middlesex County Cricket League sits at the top of Middlesex's league cricket structure, and its member clubs are the most senior clubs in the county. It has strong connections with the county club, who each year allocates its players to play in the league when they are free.

A month ago, Ealing needed to win four from four to stay up. The odds were against them. Kristian Martin's side cared little for that and completed their Lazarus-like comeback with a win against Harrow St Mary's in Week 18. North Middlesex have been crowned Premier League champions, but there is still an awful lot of business that needs sorting in the MCCL. Ealing face off against Harrow St Mary's in a relegation shoot out and that's arguably the game of the day. Elsewhere, Bron and Finchley are fighting for the second promotion slot out of Div 1, Eastcote play Harrow to decide which of the two will be Div 2 champions. Lazarus has officially come to the MCCL. Ealing, once pronounced dead in the Premier League relegation battle, are now out of the bottom two. Quite the turnaround for the Corfton Roaders. Who is going to go down from the MCCL's Premier Division? Ealing looked dead and buried until recently, but there's still hope at Corfton Road that they could do a Harry Houdini and stay up. Harrow St Mary's are also showing proper fight, defeating both North Midd and Shay Book in the last two weeks. Only those two title chasers plus Crouch End will genuinely be sleeping easy. We're halfway through the 2025 season. Hornsey's Week 9 defeat of Shay Boo means the title race is now very much alive. At the other end of the table, Harrow St Mary's shock a struggling Ealing, whilst Twickenham lose their 100 per cent record at the top of Division One. Some things went to plan in Week 2 of the 2025 MCCL season, others very much didn't. Enfield's victory over Harrow in Div 2 certainly caught the eye, whilst Wycombe House gave Bron one almighty great fright in Div 1. May is traditionally supposed to be a bowler's month. Not the case in Week 1 of the MCCL. Runs galore were the order of the day, as batters up and down the county filled their boots.
