Description
My stream-of-consciousness rambling about sports topics while driving. We discuss everything from the NFL and college football to college basketball and the NBA (with a tiny bit of baseball and other less important sports thrown in) from the only slightly biased perspective of a lifelong Tennessee fan, a side-hustle sports writer, and a permanently unbalanced recovering addict/alcoholic. Yeah, there’s a lot to unpack here, so join me for the ride and let’s hope we both make it back safely!

Bane is going to Orlando and a boatload of picks are going to Memphis. Is this only the first step in the Grizzlies’ plan? Are the Magic ready to step up into the top tier in the East? Where will KD end up? Will Giannis be on the move? Also, you might should listen to my betting tips.
Check out today’s episode for big news about the future!
The title says it all!
The final meaningful football event until opening night is behind us; let’s talk about it!
The Titans (finally!) have their quarterback; the Jags get two in one; the Falcons won the first round (I believe) and fixed their biggest problem; the Giants got one great player a quarterback (maybe not the right one); and Shedeur is still waiting. We recap and analyze each pick of the first round.
Only one more week! What will your team do in the first round? Well, let me tell you.
Tennessee draws a line in the sand, and the fallout could determine the future of college football.

Discussing SEC fandom, Mach Madness beginning, the direction of Titans football, the Lakers getting healthy, and more!
Super Bowl lix is upon us! Luka is a Laker! Dalton Knecht is not 🙁. Vols basketball is rolling again! The Titans have an opportunity to show competence. Welcome back, friends! 🍊🏀🏈🏟️⚔️
We dive into Tennessee’s outlook after the Georgia loss, the Titans’ scenario flipped on its head, and the six Super Bowl contenders in the AFC.
Alright, if y’all haven’t been heeding my betting tips, it’s on you… this is no longer just a hot streak, and I’m finally ready to say “I told you so.” Also…… Tennessee beats Florida and Alabama in consecutive weeks!
We discuss a wild weekend in college football, as well as the truth about the Jets and Cowboys, potential roster changes, and the 2018 QB class finally panning out.
Yeah, I’m changing up my thing with the titles. Maybe more people will listen if the titles are grabby. Anywho, the Vols prove they can win in more ways than one and have the most complete team since ‘98. The Titans’ season feels over before October, and I can’t find a silver lining. And I gloat a little about winning bets and my son’s 6U team.
I think the title says it all.
A couple corrections from yesterday, previewing Tennessee at Oklahoma, some thoughts on Monday Night Football, I told you so about Da Bears, and Will Levis as a franchise QB.
The Vols are wonderful. The Titans are terrible. That’s the gist of it. But we dive into all the details as well as thoughts on other NFL and CFB topics. And the best football I saw all week :)
The Vols show out in front of a national audience; Will Levis and the Titans’ special teams collapse in epic fashion; Tyreek Hill gets arrested; and Deshaun Watson is done. Thank God football is back!
Dissecting the Vols’ dominant win over a team they needed to dominate, including Nico’s outstanding performance, the great play of the skill position players, and the destructive force of the defensive front, as well as what we can expect against tougher opponents. We also discuss disappointing performances from Florida, LSU, and Clemson, as well as the rude awakening coming for Texas and Oklahoma. Also a quick preview of the Titans upcoming opener in Chicago.
We are officially back…. For real this time! Join us as we discuss the Vols’ incredible recruiting streak, season expectations for the Titans, my thoughts on the most hyped NFL divisions, Tua vs Flores, Hard Knocks Off-season, and how sick I am of hearing about the NOTHING that the Cowboys are doing.
