THE DARKEST SERIES EVER.In the darker corners of the internet, few criminal cases have shocked investigators more than that of Peter Scully.Operating overseas for years, Scully became the focus of an international investigation into organised online exploitation and trafficking. His crimes were uncovered through coordinated global efforts between law enforcement agencies, ultimately leading to his arrest, trial, and conviction. This episode explores how he was able to operate for so long, how authorities tracked him down, and the wider questions this case raised about online safety, international policing, and the hidden dangers of digital anonymity.Due to the extremely sensitive nature of this case, we will not be detailing explicit material. Our focus is on the investigation, the legal outcome, and the broader implications for online crime enforcement.Listener discretion is advised. For HUNDREDS of more cases (and to request your own), visit icmap.co.uk now and sign up for free!Presented by Tom Norris & Ben CarterWritten by Ben CarterProduced by Dan J LambertEdited by Ben Bonsey Hosted on Acast. It was just another regular Tuesday afternoon in the city of Sunnyvale, California. The employees at ESL Incorporated were going about their day, blissfully unaware that their office building was about to become the scene of one of the most shocking shooting sprees in the state's history... Little did they know that, out in the carpark, sat a dangerous and vindictive ex-employee... One who felt scorned, rejected, belittled and very much ready to take his revenge... 39-year-old Richard Farley was sitting in a rented motorhome, plotting his malicious attack... Armed with an arsenal of weapons, more than a thousand rounds of ammunition, and years of simmering obsession, he began his journey towards the office building... Farley forced his way inside, shooting multiple rounds indiscriminately at anything and anyone unfortunate enough to be caught in his path… His main target and apparently his ultimate motivation for this heinous attack was 26-year-old Laura Black. Farley had been instantly fixated with the young engineer from the moment he met eyes with her 4 years earlier… He professed his feelings for her several times - and he simply would not take “no” for an answer. For HUNDREDS of more cases (and to request your own), visit icmap.co.uk now and sign up for free!Presented by Tom Norris & Ben CarterWritten by Ben CarterProduced by Dan J LambertEdited by Ben Bonsey Hosted on Acast. For decades, women across the United States were disappearing, their cases often overlooked, misclassified, or forgotten. Behind it all was one man: Samuel Little.Little’s crimes spanned more than 30 years, making him America’s most prolific confirmed serial killer. He claimed responsibility for over 90 murders, and the FBI later verified at least 60 of them, a chilling record in U.S. history. His victims were often among society’s most vulnerable, which tragically allowed his crimes to go undetected for far too long.In this episode, we trace Little’s early life and criminal background, his disturbing methods, and how he managed to avoid justice for decades. We also look at how modern investigative work finally exposed the full scale of his atrocities, leading to a shocking legacy that still raises questions about law enforcement failures, victim profiling, and justice for the forgotten. This is the story of manipulation, brutality, and a criminal who managed to hide in plain sight. For HUNDREDS of more cases (and to request your own), visit icmap.co.uk now and sign up for free!Presented by Tom Norris & Ben CarterWritten by Ben CarterProduced by Dan J LambertEdited by Ben Bonsey Hosted on Acast. :o I have that card.
she had so bad hand from beginning of her life. also how she as woman is presented on media Vs male serial killers is insane. How she is though of being worse than so many males who just s.a, rob and kill?
😬
Forcing an adult to be put involuntary to a psychological institution is BIG thing to prove as necessary action. He had not done ANYTHING to others or himself. Telling that he has urge and fascination of killing people is same than telling of any unorthodox desires (pedo, necro, somno and many other -philias). You can have desires as long you know not to act on them, like he has done before. He said that he has not or don't plan to act on this. There is no real cause to act on this. Sad but true
New kids keeps popping up like a mushrooms when raining 😅
"This will be trip she would not miss" it's horrible but also funny 😂 lesson of the day DON'T CANCEL ON LAST MINUTE
Hi I've only recently started to listen to your podcast and there amazing. I'm only halfway through but I'm loving them. regards Glen Goldsworthy
the thing is, had his therapist actually done her job and made him get help, we wouldn't be talking about this case. in the US we have a system called NICS, which stands for the National Instant Criminal Background Check System, what this system does is it prevents people who shouldn't have guns get guns. had he been put in the hospital by his therapist he would have been added to this list as he would be seen fit to own a gun. would this have stopped this case? possibly, there is the black market after all.just my two cents.
