Duncan, Allan, Blair and Robbie sit down to look ahead to the return of John McGlynn to Stark’s Park. There’s talk about the impact that Lewis Vaughan’s hamstring injury will have on the squad, and a huge welcome for exciting new signing Fankaty Dabo. The boys consider the contradictory nature of John McGlynn’s legacy before looking at what it might take to ensure Falkirk’s unbeaten run ends at 43 league games. And after all that, there’s still time (!) for a classic entry into the Should McStay or Should Dargo canon. Welcome back to the Oh No No No Podcast where history is repeating itself. It's been over three years since Rovers saw a second half collapse to Hamilton, but the same scenario played out as John Rankin's men snatched a 3-3 draw with one of the last kicks of the game despite Rovers putting in a relentless performance. Robbie is joined by Callum, Iain and Allan to talk through the game, including the goals, the referee and the mentality of the team. Duncan, Blair, Callum and Scott are joined by debutant Allan Douglas-Munn to look forward to the visit of Hamilton on Saturday. But before they cover that game, they welcome new Rovers signing Finlay Pollock, and bicker about the various factors that have contributed to the Rovers’ poor start to the season. The miserable start to the season continued for Raith Rovers with the double humiliation of a derby defeat to send them bottom of the Scottish Championship last Friday night. Robbie is joined by Leslie, Carol and Callum to pick through the bones of the game nobody wanted to look back at. There's also discussion about the ongoing difficulties on the pitch, the recruitment which is ongoing, and the challenges facing the board at the moment. The stage is set again for yet another Fife Derby with the bragging rights up for grabs at the KDM group stadium. With Neill Collins taking to the dugout for the first game, Rovers fans will be hoping that he can replicate Ian Murray's stellar unbeaten derby record. Robbie is joined by Blair (settle down South Ayrshire), Scott and Callum to look ahead to the big game, as well as a discussion about Tuesday night's club 1883 discussion with Andrew Barrowman and Neill Collins. Welcome back to the Oh No No No podcast. Same ground. Different manager. Same result. Rovers exited the SPFL trust trophy at the home of Ayr United where, despite a riotous first half, an Anton Dowds brace and George Oakley goal saw the visitors exit the competition at the first attempt. Robbie, Leslie, Callum and Graeme look through the bubble bursting second half at Somerset Park, and look at the positives and negatives to take from Sunday's performance. The long wait is over! Raith Rovers have a new manager! Duncan, Blair, Graeme, Scott and Leslie give their thoughts on the arrival of Neill Collins, what it says about the length of the recruitment process, and what we might be able to expect from a man who hasn’t worked in Scotland since he left Dumbarton for Sunderland as a player in 2004. The boys also cover the upcoming trip to Ayr United on Sunday in the SPFL Trust Trophy, and wonder whether Neill Collins will have the scope or the desire to ring the changes. Welcome back to the Oh No No No podcast! The frustration of seeing 138,000 queuing for weekend tickets to watch Oasis at Hampden didn't let up for Rovers fans on Saturday where after a solid performance Livingston left Stark's Park with all three points. The end of the game saw the Kirkcaldy side still searching for their first goal from open play and with some criticism in sections of the support. Blair is joined by Robbie, Carol and Leslie to look back through the defeat with a look at the positives and negatives. Colin Steven's performance naturally comes under scrutiny before the group ask the question "are we a club in crisis?" after talking about man of the match candidates. Welcome back to the Oh No No No podcast! Tonight Robbie is joined by Leslie, Blair, Scott and Ally to chat about the latest week at Stark's Park. While David Healy was busy getting cold feet and Oasis burying their hatchet, the Rovers hunt for a manager still goes on. The gang try to work their way through the speculation, the hot takes, and the rumours (good and bad) to give their honest opinions. The group take a look at Saturday's upcoming league match against David Martindale's Livingston side, before Leslie provides us with the most brutal round of 'Should McStay or Should Dargo?' yet. Duncan is joined by Leslie, Scott and Callum to talk through a game that turned on one key incident. There’s a moment by moment breakdown of the action packed 10 seconds that saw Shaun Byrne concede a penalty and be shown a red card, and various theories offered as to who was right, who was wrong, and what could’ve been done differently. They cover the rest of the game despite it’s lack of talking points, and finish with another Should McStay or Should Dargo?. Callum, Scott and Robbie join Duncan for the first ONNN in 11 days. The boys talk through the latest updates in the hunt for a new manager and the arrival of St Mirren loanee forward Lewis Jamieson, before turning their attention to Saturday’s trip to Somerset Park, and finishing with a now customary Should McStay or Should Dargo? Callum, Blair, Scott and Robbie join Duncan to comb through the Rovers 1-0 win over Partick Thistle. Whilst the game was somewhat lacking in quality, there was no shortage of talking points, as they pick out the key performers, take cheap shots at Thistle’s midfield, consider the impact of John Potter & Mickey Cameron, and give their thoughts on the clearest red card we’ll see all season. After the break there’s chat about the ongoing hunt for a manager, a brief update on the Pre-Dick-tion League, and a Fleming-posed Should McStay or Should Dargo?. After the monumental cliffhanger of last weekend, the rumour mill has been grinding away about who is going to come in to replace Ian Murray at the helm of Raith Rovers. Robbie is joined by Blair, Duncan, Callum and Iain to firstly have an open and honest chat about their thoughts on Andrew Barrowman's much discussed Raith TV interview where the CEO spoke about the discussion to change managers. The group then talk through the paper talk of who might come in and answer a twitter question of who is giving them stone cold vibes, and who is giving them the fear. To round the episode off there's a look ahead to a game on Saturday in a week where the focus has felt very much off the field! Duncan is joined by Iain, Callum, Blair, Scott and Robbie to try to make sense of the shock news that Ian Murray has been sacked as manager of Raith Rovers. There’s very little structure as the boys reel from one topic to the next, encompassing the club’s statement, the presumed rationale for the decision, Ian Murray’s record, whether or not his post-match interview contained any clues for what was to come, who might be in line to replace him, and whether or not Airdrie still sell Pot Noodles. Welcome back to the Oh No No No podcast! 10 teams (some more basketcase than others). 180 matches. A high chance of cartoons. Robbie, Blair, Graeme, Carol and Scott are here for our longest podcast to date. The group delve into every single Championship side with their Rovers-tinted glasses to talk about what to expect. The focus then goes to the season curtain raiser as Rovers face off against their old [unbeaten last season] adversaries Airdrie. Duncan is joined by Leslie, Callum and Blair to recap Hamilton’s visit in the final game of the Premier Sports Cup Group Stage, as the Rovers took a futile bonus point after a low-key 1-1 draw. They pick through the key moments and highlight some individual contributions from the group stage so far, then round off with another edition of Should McStay or Should Dargo. You can hear more from Scott Fleming as he guested on this week’s Terrace Podcast at https://www.patreon.com/terracepodcast You can also find the Oh No No No podcast on Twitter @ONNNpodcast, Instagram @oh_no_no_no_podcast and you can find mugs, t-shirts and more at ohnononopodcast.etsy.com
Duncan, Robbie and Callum sit down to cover the final two games of the League Cup Group Stage. They discuss the fine margins of the 2-1 defeat to Ross County, and look forward to the visit of Hamilton Accies. There’s also a look at the permutations that might occur as the Rovers look to finish as one of the best placed runners up, and a quick rundown of the latest forwards to be linked with a move to Stark’s Park. [Callum disappears from the video partway through this podcast, but rest assured, his dulcet tones remain.] You can also find the Oh No No No podcast on Twitter @ONNNpodcast, Instagram @oh_no_no_no_podcast and you can find mugs, t-shirts and more at ohnononopodcast.etsy.com
Welcome back to the Oh No No No podcast. Rovers made it two wins from two in the league cup, but left it late against Scott Agnew's Stranraer. An early Jack Hamilton goal gave hopes of a procession as Ian Murray's men dominated most of the match only for Elliot Dunlop's finish gave the visitors an equaliser give minutes from time. Fortunately, Euan Murray's bullet header in the last minute made sure there wasn't a need for a shootout. Robbie is joined by Leslie and Carol to look back at the game, with a quick preview for Saturday's trip up to Dingwall to face familiar foes Ross County. Welcome back to the Oh No No No podcast. The new season started off with a bang with Aidan Connolly's inspired hat-trick giving Rovers all three points in their league cup opener. Robbie is joined by Scott, Callum and summer signing Ally Pilmer to look back at last weekend's win. The group then take a quick look ahead to tomorrow's visit from Stranraer with the usual predictions and line ups. And to round us off, there's a quickfire round of 'Should McStay or Should Dargo'! Welcome back to the Oh No No No podcast and the arrival of the new football season. It's been 30 years since Jimmy Nicholl's intrepid blend of mavericks, youngers and the odd veteran set off to Dingwall to start for the start of the most memorable season in Raith Rovers history and after all that time, Ian Murray will be hoping that his squad can etch themselves into folklore at the club. Where back in the day had the class fanzines, we're lucky enough to be able to talk it out on the first podcast covering competitive football for Rovers in the 2024/25 season. Robbie is joined by Callum, Duncan and Leslie to talk through the launch of the new away kit and the signing of Jake Nicholson, before then turning their attention onto Saturday's match. After that, it's a return of the classic 'Should McStay or Should Dargo' in one of the most memorable (if not lengthy) match ups yet.
