What a finale...what a season!!! Carrie and Big connect more here than ever before, and even watching this 30 years later knowing how awful this type of man could be, we can't help but feel a sense of longing. Samantha fully crashes out when she lets herself put the pieces together about Richard's cheating, Charlotte dates an insecure little man boy, and Miranda finally gives birth to Brady. We will never join this new wave of people who have some kind of problem with Carrie's haircut, because this look caused an entire generation of us to impulsively cut our hair into a bob, while literally never being able to achieve the perfection with which Carrie looks. Carrie gets a job at Vogue, where she seems to step back in time to Mad Men days of drinking at noon and laughing off sexual harassment by the men in power. Miranda is starting to crash our about the baby, so Charlotte forces a baby shower on her friend. Samantha is fully in the depths of "I will lower my standards for a man I love" when she agrees to a birthday threesome to justify Richard's desire to cheat. Enjoy!!! This may be one of the most relatable episdes ever for any diva who hasnt really ever thrived at budgeting or money management. Carrie is left scrambling to come up with $30k for a down payment and she has about ten minutes to do so (thanks so much, Aiden!). Samantha perfectly manipultes an "I Love You" out of Richard, which we already know is beginning the snowball into Hell. Welp. They're broken up...and although Aiden is stirring up at least SOME feeling of empathy from us, we have to remember how he handles everything going forward. This is an epic episode that lives in most of our minds rent free. The fight! THE ROGAINE! THE SHOES! **TUNE IN EVERY FRIDAY at 2 EST for our LIVE REACTION to the episode, exclusively on YOUTUBE**As Carrie's character continues to lose all sense of life, personality and humanity, we couldn't help but wonder: what does MPK THINK he is doing here? Certainly not make any single one of us root for Aiden; everything that made Aiden "the one that got away" is now gone, leaving us with "GO AWAY, AIDEN!" After breaking this 200 year old glass (Carrie is the first person on earth who cares about GLASS this much) Aiden makes a shocking reveal, which Carrie reacts to by shrugging and then gaslighting the entire audience into thinking we should have known her stance. Miranda and Joy are actually kind of a breath of fresh air, so let’s at least be grateful for that. Something else we are ALWAYS grateful for? Jennifer Lewis. This woman can spin gold out of whatever this writing is. LTW's dad dies for the second time in the series, and there are a couple fleeting moments of greatness in the funeral (other than the egregious butchering of the lyrics of a Stephen Schwartz classic opening number). Meanwhile, Seema is apparantly dirt poor, so that's at least the first semi-relatable storyline so far! This episode had a TON to discuss this week! First of all, it was randomly kind of good, but that also might just be us reacting to something of substance after oh so many episodes of complete "HUH???". The MAIN topic of discussion is the subject of Wyatt. Ohhhh...Wyatt. Your two hosts are VERY split on our opinions of this kid. While we agree the actor is quite remarkable (because we all universally think this kid is the WORST), but where we differ is our thoughts on whether Wyatt's behavior is warrented and his family is being too hard on him, or if maybe this kid needs a good dose of SUCK IT UP AND GET OVER IT! Meanwhile, Miranda is now housesitting on an open-ended timeline, and after an embarassing on-air snafu, she is feeling slef conscious about her situation with the lovely Joy, who we LOVE. Harry is reduced to a bitchy neighbor who is also semi-impotent (not Charlotte's first ride around the carousel), Seema has a her own Jerry Maguire moment, and LTW and George Washington have some sleep paralysis demons coming to put their marriage to the test.
