It's Friday and the weekend, starts here. The Oshkosh School District has made the very tough choice to make major cuts due to a budget shortfall. And though this is a more measured decision than proposed last year, their Superintendent believes part of the problem is in Madison and we think funding a second school system is also a major component. Next, we welcome Corrine Hendrickson back to the show, she is running for Wisconsin State Senate in the 17th District. We discuss what she is hearing from folks in the community, as well as her thoughts on how funding a proper school system in the state is not only good for kids, but great for all of us. There was another shooting in Minneapolis involving ICE with the president weighing in and making a threat to invoke 19th Century law in the Midwest.
