This is a weekly podcast, published every Friday morning, that will include short readings and quotes from many diverse spiritual sources, including the Edgar Cayce material. I believe that truth is found in all enlightened paths and that we each seek love and Divinity in our own personal ways. Each podcast episode will also include the preparatory meditation attunement techniques suggested in the Edgar Cayce readings and will then be followed by two minutes of meditative silence prior to the closing readings.

Today we’ll be reading from the beautiful 1957 book entitled Morning Light on the Spiritual Path. This book contains information from White Eagle, through the mediumship of Grace Cook. The White Eagle Lodge, based in England, exists to this day and continues the spiritual teachings so gently and lovingly given by White Eagle. As always, we will include the preparatory meditation attunement techniques suggested in the Edgar Cayce readings which will then be followed by a few minutes of meditative silence.https://www.edgarcaycenyc.orghttps://edgarcayce.orghttps://www.white-eagle.org.ukhttps://bookstore.whiteaglelodge.org/products/first-steps-on-a-spiritual-path-by-white-eagleAvailable on most podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Overcast.#Meditationpractice #mysticalchristianity #meditation #oneness #edgarcayce #god #spiritualsearch#associationforresearchandenlightenment#whiteeagle #whiteeaglelodge
Today we will be looking once again at the 2013 book by Glen Schneider called Ten Breaths To Happiness, Touching Life In It's Fullness. This information is simple and basic, but sometimes going back to the basics is just what we need.Last week we reviewed the ten breath practice. This week we will continue with that theme but with a specific focus on the out-breath and how that awareness of the out-breath helps to center us. Keizan Zenji, 14th century Japanese monk said, “I abandon myself and let breathing in naturally fill me.”Each podcast episode will also include the preparatory meditation attunement techniques suggested in the Edgar Cayce readings and will then be followed by a few minutes of meditative silence prior to closing readings.Today’s mantra: iii-eee-ooo-uuu-iii-ooo-ummhttps://edgarcayce.orghttps://www.edgarcaycenyc.orghttp://www.edgarcayceaustralia.orghttps://www.amazon.com/Ten-Breaths-Happiness-Touching-Fullness/dp/1937006395https://www.parallax.org/authors/glen-schneider/Available on most podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Overcast.#Meditationpractice #mysticalchristianity #meditation #oneness #edgarcayce #god #spiritualsearch #attunement #associationforresearchandenlightenment #searchforgod #truth #breath #happiness
Today we will be looking at the 2013 book by Glen Schneider called Ten Breaths To Happiness, Touching Life In It's Fullness. Thich Nhat Hanh says that “We can all benefit from more happiness, so take time to breathe. This can make all the difference. This is what we need most. Today we will be looking at the little 1995 book titled Be Kind, by Tenzin Gyatso, His Holiness, the 14th Dalai Lama. In the chapter on equanimity we are reminded that:All sentient beings should be looked on as equal. You should reflect on the fundamental equality between yourself, and all other sentient beings. My interests are not independent of others. My happiness depends on others happiness. The only option is to live and work together harmoniously. And finally, compassion is not a question of religious practice, the question is of the future of humanity. Today we will be returning to The Door of Everything, written by Ruby Nelson in 1963. This is one of the most enlightening little spiritual books ever written and, in my opinion, should be on the reading list for all seekers of Truth. As a sidenote, virtually, nothing is known about the author. Except for her name, she seems to be anonymous, which sort of adds to the beauty of this book, as there is no apparent ego involved. It may seem a bit unfair, but I am going to read the last chapter which really sums up the book, but you will eventually definitely want to read the prior chapters to get the fullness and understanding of the knowledge and wisdom therein. The link to the entire free book courtesy of the Logos Center will be in the show notes. Today we'll be looking at a series of direct quotes from the Edgar Cayce readings. These are found in the 1995 book titled, the Edgar Cayce Companion, A Comprehensive Treatise of the Edgar Cayce readings, compiled by B. Ernest Frajer. I’ll be reading this material relatively slowly, since as most of you know, the Cayce material is sometimes challenging in terms of wording and syntax. This particular collection of readings, found in a section of the book titled, Truth is a Growing Thing, speaks to a topic that is a serious question for all of us who are deep, spiritual seekers. That question being, what is Truth? Each podcast episode will also include the preparatory meditation attunement techniques suggested in the Edgar Cayce readings and will then be followed by a few minutes of meditative silence prior to closing readings.https://www.edgarcaycenyc.orghttps://edgarcayce.orghttps://archive.org/details/the-edgar-cayce-companion-a-comprehensive-treatise-of-the-edgar-cayce-readings-b-ernest-frejer/The%20Edgar%20Cayce%20Companion%20-%20B%20Ernest%20Frejer/mode/1upAvailable on most podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Overcast.#Meditationpractice #mysticalchristianity #meditation #oneness #edgarcayce #god #spiritualsearch #attunement#associationforresearchandenlightenment#searchforgod#truth
Today I’ll be reading from the 1964 book Think On These Things, by Indian philosopher, teacher, and author, Jidda Krishnamurti. The concept is creative discontent. As the Edgar Cayce readings said, be content, but never satisfied. In other words, be happy, but keep seeking and stay curious. Each podcast episode will also include the preparatory meditation attunement techniques suggested in the Edgar Cayce readings and will then be followed by a few minutes of meditative silence prior to closing readings.https://www.edgarcaycenyc.orghttps://edgarcayce.orghttps://www.kfa.orghttps://a.co/d/2qLeYXQAvailable on most podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Overcast.#Meditationpractice #mysticalchristianity #meditation #oneness #edgarcayce #god #spiritualsearch #attunement#associationforresearchandenlightenment#searchforgod#krishnamurti#thinkonthesethings
Today I’ll be reading from the 1990 book, The Tao of Inner Peace, by Diane Dreher. Chapter one speaks to conflict and the ways to use Taoist principles to remain centered and calm through challenging times. Each podcast episode will also include the preparatory meditation attunement techniques suggested in the Edgar Cayce readings and will then be followed by a few minutes of meditative silence prior to closing readings.https://www.edgarcaycenyc.orghttps://edgarcayce.orghttps://a.co/d/gdhxwh7https://www.dianedreher.comAvailable on most podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Overcast.#Meditationpractice #mysticalchristianity #meditation #oneness #edgarcayce #god #spiritualsearch #attunement#associationforresearchandenlightenment#searchforgod#tao#theway
Today I’ll be reading from the 1979 book, Edgar Cayce, Reflections on the Path. By Herbert B. Puryear, Ph.D. The chapter titled From the Infinite into the Finite speaks to the idea that infinite oneness is found within ourselves and that deep within is the truth and love we have all been seeking. Today I’ll be reading from the 1992 book 365 Tao by Deng Ming-Dao. This information looks at Meditation and the concepts of single pointedness, light, awareness, and reflection as is discussed in the Tao Te Ching which was written in approximately 400 BC. Deng Ming-Dao elaborates on these Taoist teachings. Recently I came across an old essay from the Christian Science Journal that looked closely at the Lord's Prayer. Written by Malcolm Bayley in April of 1946, just after the end of WWII. The context and insights given by the author are strikingly appropriate in our current world climate of hatred, fear, division, violence, and trend toward authoritarian leadership. This prayer offers up answers and solutions. Each podcast episode will also include the preparatory meditation attunement techniques suggested in the Edgar Cayce readings and will then be followed by a few minutes of meditative silence prior to closing readings.https://www.edgarcaycenyc.orghttps://edgarcayce.orghttps://journal.christianscience.com/issues/1946/4/64-4/the-lord-s-prayerhttps://www.christianscience.comhttps://www.christianscience.com/the-christian-science-pastor/science-and-healthAvailable on most podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Overcast.#Meditationpractice #mysticalchristianity #meditation #oneness #edgarcayce #god #spiritualsearch #attunement#associationforresearchandenlightenment#christianscience#thelordsprayer
First off, my apologies to those who listened to the first upload of the podcast on Friday. My previous podcast platform, without warning, decided to change the sound quality and add commercials. I didn’t know this until it was too late. I have uploaded a replacement episode using a new podcast creation platform with better sound quality and no commercials! It is live now. You can listen again here if you want a redo! Thanks everyone for your patience!Today we’ll be reading from the White Eagle classic called The Quiet Mind, published in 1972. White Eagle spoke through the mediumship of Grace Cooke, beginning in 1936, in England. The words of White Eagle are exceedingly beautiful and inspired. Today we’ll be reading from the 1974 book, Peace By Choice, based on the Edgar Cayce Readings. The author, Linda Gerber Quest, PhD., discusses the need to make peace a personal responsibility in one’s own life and not just a generalized wish for humanity. Each podcast episode will also include the preparatory meditation attunement techniques suggested in the Edgar Cayce readings and will then be followed by a few minutes of meditative silence prior to closing readings .https://www.edgarcaycenyc.orghttps://edgarcayce.orghttps://www.ebay.com/itm/187241152619https://www.beautyeverywhere.com/peace-by-choice-the-world-affairs-readings-call-to-action/Available on most podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Overcast.#Meditationpractice #mysticalchristianity #meditation #oneness #edgarcayce #god #spiritualsearch #attunement#associationforresearchandenlightenment#peace
Today we’ll be reading from the 1972 book titled Edgar Cayce‘s Story of Attitudes and Emotions, edited and arranged by Jeffrey Furst.Reading 1549–1 says that we are the combined result of what we have done individually and in groups about the ideals we have set.The author raises three age, old questions, which we have all asked ourselves at one time or another: Who am I? Why am I here? Where am I going? In Chapter 3, Attitudes Towards Self, we focus on gaining a deeper understanding of who we are. Each podcast episode will also include the preparatory meditation attunement techniques suggested in the Edgar Cayce readings and will then be followed by a few minutes of meditative silence prior to closing readings.https://www.edgarcaycenyc.orghttps://edgarcayce.orghttps://a.co/d/d8t1dmsAvailable on most podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Overcast.#Meditationpractice #mysticalchristianity #meditation #oneness #edgarcayce #god #spiritualsearch #attunement#associationforresearchandenlightenment#attitudes #emotions

Today we’ll be looking at the well known journalist Dan Rather’s 2017 book, What Unites Us. One aspect that has the possibility of uniting people is a shared sense of empathy. The Cayce material also often emphasized the importance of understanding the motives and experiences of others. This aligns with the core concept of empathy, which is the ability to understand and share the feelings of another. Each podcast episode will also include the preparatory meditation attunement techniques suggested in the Edgar Cayce readings and will then be followed by a few minutes of meditative silence prior to closing readings.https://www.edgarcaycenyc.orghttps://edgarcayce.orghttps://a.co/d/bg4x7QdAvailable on most podcast platforms, including Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Overcast.#Meditationpractice #mysticalchristianity #meditation #oneness #edgarcayce #god #spiritualsearch #attunement#associationforresearchandenlightenment#danrather#whatunitesus#empathy
