Chapter 2: Sadhana pada. स्वरस्वाहि विदुषोऽपि समारूढोऽभिनिवेशः ॥९॥ sva-rasa-vāhī viduṣaḥ api samā-rūḍhaḥ abhiniveśaḥ ||9|| "Flowing on by its own potency, established all the-same even in the wise, is Love of Life." अनित्याशुचिदुःखानात्मसु नित्यशुचिसुखात्मख्यातिरविद्या ॥५॥anitya-aśuci-duḥkha-anātmasu nitya-śuci-sukha-ātma-khyātiḥ avidyā ||5||Nescience is the taking of the non-eternal, the impure, the painful and the not self to be the eternal, the pure, the pleasurable and the self.The purpose of this sutra is to explain the meaning of avidya, which is this unreal cognition of the impure in the pure that is constantly seen.Thanks for reading Sky Gazing!
