Their Waves Review has Miranda Parker, Director of the Hospice House, and she talks about their All-You-Can-Eat Crawfish Cook-off. Musician and band leader Christian Serpas tells them about all the fests he's played along the NS. And Roberta Carrow Jackson, from Visit the Northshore, makes sure she shares her tried and true pointers for enjoying a festival.
In their fourth episode of All the Waves, Katie and Zondra explore some of the hidden treasures across The Northshore of Louisiana. They talk with Jamie from the Dew Drop, Jim from the Maritime Museum and Anthony from Bayou Lacombe Museum. Hear some unknown facts about these local institutions as the ladies from Visit the Northshore hold court once again.
The third episode is all about the people and places that make the Louisiana Northshore so unique. Katie and Zondra get a chance to chat with Chef Sal on his turf when they visit his iconic restaurant. They discover that Amanda Shaw is as energetic during an interview as she is on the stage. And Jennifer from Fontainebleau State Park tells the All the Waves crew about all the great things going on at that popular destination. So settle in, Wavers, and enjoy the episode!
For their second episode of All the Waves, Visit The Nortshore's Katie and Zondra talk to Tina of the Mande Milkshakers. They also catch up with Andy of the Krewe of Dionysus. And they talk to three former queens and the current royalty for the Krewe of Selene. They end the two-episode special with a little more conversation with Arthur Hardy.
This podcast is produced by Visit the Northshore, an organization founded with the vision of establishing St Tammany Parish as a premier travel destination.  For their first episode, hosts Katie Guasco and Zondra White Jones jump into Mardi Gras on the Northshore. They talk to a man who knows everything about this Louisiana tradition, Arthur Hardy. They get to meet the Fools of Misrule, who usher in Carnival every year on the Northshore. And they spoke with a woman who made history with the Krewe of Tchefuncte.
