BOBBY HOFFMAN is an Associate Professor at the University of Central Florida who specializes in motivation science and solving the mysteries of human behavior. At UCF he teaches a variety of graduate-level courses in motivation, learning, cognition, and intelligence. Dr. Hoffman has authored over 100 publications in the fields of education, psychology, leadership, and organizational development and serves on six journal editorial boards. He holds a BA in Psychology and an MA in Human Resources Psychology. Thomas Cullen is a federal trial judge and former U.S. attorney in Virginia. He is also an accomplished writer, regularly publishing op-eds and essays for national and regional media outlets over the past decade. Thomas graduated near the top of his class from William & Mary Law School and was recently honored as its 2024 Carter O. Lowance Fellow. Robert Macauley is the Cambia Foundation Endowed Chair in Pediatric Palliative Care at Oregon Health & Science University. After earning both medical and divinity degrees at Yale, he completed a pediatric residency at Johns Hopkins, then joined the faculty at the University of Vermont College of Medicine in 2002. At UVM he directed the Department of Clinical Ethics and also founded the Pediatric Advanced Care Team. In 2017 he moved to Oregon to join the faculty at OHSU. He holds degrees in theology from Oxford and fiction writing from Vermont College of Fine Arts. In addition to being a pediatric palliative care physician, he's also an Episcopal priest. HOWARD YARUSS is an economist, professor, attorney, businessman, and activist who has taught a variety of courses on economics and business and currently teaches at New York University. Prior to teaching, he served as Executive Vice President and General Counsel of Radian Group, one of the largest guarantors of debt in the world. Yaruss graduated from Brown University, studied at the London School of Economics, and earned a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Leslie A. Rasmussen was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated from UCLA. She went on to write television comedies for Gerald McRaney, Burt Reynolds, Roseanne Barr, Norm McDonald, Drew Carey, The Wild Thornberrys, and Sweet Valley High. After leaving the business to raise her boys, Leslie obtained a master’s degree in nutrition and ran her own business for ten years. Lisa Borders is the author of the novels Cloud Cuckoo Land, chosen by Pat Conroy as the winner of River City Publishing’s Fred Bonnie Award and a Massachusetts Book Awards honoree, and The Fifty-First State. David Galef is an irresponsible eclectic who writes in too many directions for his own good.
