The boys are back! Here with the wackiest show they've ever done, Hilton and Weaver discuss a Monty Python classic. Tune in to find out how Weaver is definitely not a man concerned with the details.
"Call your girlfriend
It's time you had the talk
Give your reasons
Say it's not her fault
But you just met somebody new"
Except you don't call her. You stay with her because you've built a life with her. This is just the most intense, fleeting, ephemeral experience of your life. You're never going to forget me, but you're going to stay with her. And move to Johannesburg. But that's beside the point.
Brief Encounter. What a gem. Go get it in your ear holes!
Sorry for the delay on this one gang--Hilton had a busy week and did a poor job with his time management. This week we discuss one of the first real independent films. To keep the mood light we also throw in some baby goats, so there's something for the whole family (#fam).

*WE ARE BEN & BEN & THE CRITERION, AND THIS WEEK, WE'RE HERE TO MAKE YOU THINK ABOUT DEATH AND GET SAD AND STUFF. ONETWOTHREEFOUR-*
Truly tho, this is Weaver's favorite movie in a long time. He ranks it as his second favorite of the entire pod! Meanwhile, of course, Hilton didn't find a version with subtitles, so he had no idea what was going on.
Anyway, give it a listen and get you some art!
Hey Babiez! This week on BB&C--the boys dive into a morass of confusion and joy with Lynch's classic Mulholland Drive! Hilton totally gets the film, but just loves to hear the way Weaver tells it, and you will too.

Tired of thinking about the current firearm debate in America? Then don't listen to this episode, cuz the movie is exclusively about buying guns. The Bens discuss 70s fashion, bitcoin, and this cool 70s B-side!
The boys are back! Ben and Ben talk Wes Anderson's first film, living in Nashville, and catch up on things!
Well hello there! We're finally back after some technical issues with Hilton's computer, and we are talking about personal shopper. For those of you who don't know, it's definitely not a free wheeling whimsical movie about a personal shopper getting into shenanigans (which one of us definitely thought). It's a spoopy movie about a medium looking for a sign from her twin brother who passed away shortly before the events of the movie began.

Hey Gang! this week we face down the inevitable nuclear holocaust while watching Dr. Strangelove. Despite (or because of) this heavy content, we get even more distracted than usual. And Weaver eats again. This is Hilton's first attempt at sound editing, so lower those standards!

Ya'll are in for a treat. Red. Stairways. Noodles. Lush. Heartbreak. Weaver inducts this one into his canon of life-changing movies. Hilton liked it, too, but like Weaver was ALL about it. Stick around for the end, when Weaver acts out a scene from the movie. Go get you some moody love!
We're back! We've finally made it through our thick forest of technical difficulties, and have emerged in a field of incomprehensible cockney accents. Join us while we attempt to discuss the Long Good Friday, and its inclusion of Pierce Brosnan's baby face.

Things get real spooky this week when we watch Hosue. We have a great time discussing this masterfully made film--with top of the line special effects--until we face a horror of our own when Ben loses half of his recording. Was it gobbled up by an evil house? Was it stolen by a jealous ghost? Or did we just do a bad job? I guess we'll never know.

Please could you stop the noise, I'm trying to get some ROBOCOP. Get your paranoid androids ready for this quintessential 80s B-movie.
~ Summertime, and the livin' is easy...~
You'll feel this way after spending some time with Katherine Hepburn and the Bens! What a gem. What. A. Gem this movie is. Go get you some Italian love!
Welcome back Cri Babies! Weaver's voice has recovered, and we take advantage of those dulcet tones to discuss my new chandelier, a zombie prom, and eventually the movie we watched this week--Dead Ringers.

This week we tumble into the unexpectedly (for Hilton at least) dark classic Sid and Nancy. If you're looking to feel better about your life then join us in watching the 20th film in the list!
More Samuel Fuller for your viewing pleasure! The Bens mix it up this week by recording by candlelight, creating the sensual atmosphere for a hot 'n' heavy ep. Go get you some!
Welcome back gang! We enjoy a breath of fresh air this week, after the rough week we had two weeks ago. This movie is a delight, and we hope you'll enjoy it with us.

Oof. This was a ROUGH one gang. We watched Salo, or 120 days of Sodom. Honestly I only watched 2/3 of it because I was busy covering my eyes.
Join us in our cringing!
