Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War The Calamity is here, it is the final cour of one of the greatest shonen comebacks in anime history, and it is absolutely destroying us in the best possible way. This week we give you our full mid-season review of the fourth and final part of TYBW, covering everything that has happened so far as Ichigo's push against The Almighty, Orihime's power pushed far beyond its limits, and ask the big question: is The Calamity landing as the finale this franchise deserves? We also cover the final two episodes being delayed to October 19 and October 26, what that means for the ending, and what we think is coming for Ichigo, Yhwach, and the conclusion of a story that began back in 2004.💻 Get Surfshark VPN Go to https://surfshark.deals/UndisputedAnime - Enter promo code UNDISPUTEDANIME for 4 extra months free! 🔔 Never miss an update with Undisputed Anime Podcast https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW7o0FO0UXmhu8B6nzb-HTQ?sub_confirmation=1🎙️ Check out the Undisputed Anime on your favorite podcast platform: https://pod.link/1568049785📱 Link to our social media accounts: http://beacons.ai/undisputedanime📧  Email Us [email protected]🎁 Support The Show https://www.patreon.com/undisputedanime🎵 Intro & Outro Music by Bad Snacks 🎵

This week we watched The Ribbon Hero the brand new Netflix Original anime film that dropped on August 8, 2026 and we have genuinely complicated feelings about it. And that, honestly, makes for the most interesting kind of episode.💻 Get Surfshark VPN Go to https://surfshark.deals/UndisputedAnime - Enter promo code UNDISPUTEDANIME for 4 extra months free! 🔔 Never miss an update with Undisputed Anime Podcast https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW7o0FO0UXmhu8B6nzb-HTQ?sub_confirmation=1🎙️ Check out the Undisputed Anime on your favorite podcast platform: https://pod.link/1568049785📱 Link to our social media accounts: http://beacons.ai/undisputedanime📧  Email Us [email protected]🎁 Support The Show https://www.patreon.com/undisputedanime🎵 Intro & Outro Music by Bad Snacks 🎵

We've watched the first three episodes of Star Wars: Visions PresentsThe Ninth Jedi, and we have a lot to say. The eight-episode limited series dropped all at once on Disney+ and Hulu on August 5, but we're taking it slow and giving you our honest mid-watch impressions before we've seen how it all ends because three episodes in, this already feels like something genuinely special. For the uninitiated: The Ninth Jedi is produced by Production I.G. the legendary studio behind Ghost in the Shell and Haikyu!! directed by Shunsuke Tada and supervised by Kenji Kamiyama, the same creative mind behind the original 2021 Visions short that many fans consider the greatest plot twist in Star Wars history. The series is set roughly 1,000 years after the events of The Rise of Skywalker, in a galaxy where the Jedi Order has long crumbled into obscurity. Lah Kara a teenage girl with a natural gift for the Force and Margrave Juro are on a galaxy-spanning mission to rebuild the Jedi, rescue Kara's father Lah Zhima (the last known sabersmith in the galaxy, now captured by Jedi Hunters), and fight back against the growing threat of Nawaam and the last Sith, Gennoh. Three episodes in, Production I.G.'s animation is breathtaking, the lightsaber colour mechanic is unlike anything Star Wars has done before, and the moral grey areas this show is already introducing a strain of Jedi philosophy described as "giving into nothingness"  having us asking questions the franchise has never really asked before. This is not your typical Star Wars. And that is absolutely a good thing.💻 Get Surfshark VPN Go to https://surfshark.deals/UndisputedAnime - Enter promo code UNDISPUTEDANIME for 4 extra months free! 🔔 Never miss an update with Undisputed Anime Podcast https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCW7o0FO0UXmhu8B6nzb-HTQ?sub_confirmation=1🎙️ Check out the Undisputed Anime on your favorite podcast platform: https://pod.link/1568049785📱 Link to our social media accounts: http://beacons.ai/undisputedanime📧  Email Us [email protected]🎁 Support The Show https://www.patreon.com/undisputedanime🎵 Intro & Outro Music by Bad Snacks 🎵
