He applied his motivation techniques from his hockey background to learning in classes, and then moved to workshops to enhance his smooth techniques and is now entering competitions with his taxi dancer friend Christine. Essie Jo is a much-loved dance teacher and puts on what we think is the best Sunday afternoon freestyle in the East Midlands. Essie, is, of course, known for her Blues Teaching but we find out about all the other styles of dancing and music she loves which is the foundation for her must-go-to "Essie's" Sundays.
