In this episode I talk to Megan who married her husband Lachy at the registry in Melbourne, with just their mums and Megan's stepdad.  They followed their ceremony up with a lunch in Melbourne and then went to a hotel to enjoy their cake and some bubbles! This is a fantastic episode if you are considering having a registry wedding but aren't sure what to expect, or if you are tossing up the idea of bailing on your big wedding and doing this instead! In today's episode I talk to Luella, who married her husband Angus in the Ferguson Valley, WA in November 2023. Luella planned a low budget wedding and had a lot of help from family members and friends with beautiful DIY elements throughout the day that made the day amazing.  Luella shares some tips for budgeting - including her choice to not have a photographer! In this episode I talk to Kim who married her husband Justin in Sydney in February 2023. Kim talks about how she managed to plan her entire wedding in 6 months and managed to keep a low budget of around $30,000 which is a huge accomplishment in the city!   Kim got a lot of compliments from her wedding planning and so has gone on to launch her own wedding planning business called The Finery, and she talks about how she went about launching the business and what is included in it. In this episode, Peta tells us about her wedding to her husband Liam, in country Victoria. In this episode, Marney tells us about her March 2021 wedding. Marney married her husband, Nathan, in Bendigo and thanks her photographer for the amazing job that she did helping her to plan the day and keep her relaxed the whole time.
