In episode 39 I speak to Teagan who married her husband Ant in February 2025 in Geelong. They had a beautiful wedding and Teagan talks about how easy she found the planning process, thank you to her wonderful vendors.
Teagan is also a clinical nutritionist and we talk a lot about nutrition care in the lead up to your wedding to ensure that you feel the best on your day. We talk about the effect nutrition can have on your skin, stress levels and sleep, and how seeking help can give you some advice on how to avoid these things going wrong. Something new! In today's episode I talk to Sarah who is recently engaged for our first episode of "Engagement chat" (open to other suggestions of names if anyone has one!). A new little series I'm putting together so that we can dive deep into some of those early questions, problems or things that you're excited about during your wedding planning.
Sarah has been a bridesmaid 8 or 9 times and so this episode is filled with lots of advice she has for brides and bridesmaids - we talk about nightmare stories, how to set expectations with spending and commitments, how to choose.

Ivory Tribe is an online wedding blog and directory with incredible resources for people planning their wedding and vendors. They also have the extremely helpful Wedding Plans, a physical planner that includes everything you would need to help you with your wedding planning.

Georgia is the owner of Etre Marie bridal in the Gold Coast, and she fills this episode with so much education for the bride and people planning a wedding. In this episode I talk to Rebecca Klodinsky from The Prestwick Place. We talk about her choice to elope with her husband Lachie rather than have the big 150 guest wedding that they had originally started planning, including what was involved in their dreamy elopement.
Rebecca tells us about her experience when getting engaged and looking for a ring and how this lead to her founding The Prestwick Place and the process involved with handcrafting all of their rings with their couples. In this episode I talk to Demi about her wedding to her husband Jesse in March, 2024. They got married in Gippsland and did a lot of DIY for their planning and had help from friends and family with their decorations and planning.
Their wedding sounds like a super fun party, with 120 guests in attendance! Everything sounds very individualised to them as a couple and they went without a lot of traditional elements.
