This is an actual play podcast for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition in a homebrew setting inspired heavily by Greek Mythology. Todd, the creator, dungeon master, and editor of the podcast runs players Becca, Dylan, Maci, Dimitris, and Kevin through a world of myths, legends, facts, fiction, and some craziness in between. As they walk through the valley of the shadow of kings, they fear no evil for they have things. A fighter with a big sword, another that uses a scythe and more. They have a blood using fighter, and a cleric that is a light bearer. And last but not least, a wise old man that can change into beasts. But is it enough? Cause these demon are f'in tough.
The party prepares for the conflict ahead by having a feast made for heroes. Then they head into the catacombs to change the city, see familiar faces, and to try, but you know, you can't fight the moonlight.
Would you fight for love? As in, the embodiment of it? Well, there was an incident and now Eros has gone and gotten himself into a pickle. Let's see if the heroes of today can save him.
The party has their test subjects and can perform the ritual to cleanse the bodies of demons. It is time to get a new subject, and attempt to end the corruption of the High Seer.
The party descends into an old and abandoned theater in hopes of discovering something wondrous, and then they go hunting for some demons...
The party follows the trail that leads to an unexpected end; including Kyriaki gaining a new friend.
The party chases a trail of misdeeds, finds a building overturned, and two new people are introduced to our dear friends.
Some matters have to be handled with delicacy. Who better to shine in these trying times than a blood thirsty killer and a right hand of the Underworld?
There are different types of stakes. There is even a delicious type of steak. Stakes can be: placing a bet, a tool used to kill Dracula, a post where you might tie up your favorite neighborhood witch, or it can be marking the limits of something. As in, as soon as you walk into a room where half demons are ritualistically making more half demons then the stakes are high.
As Christmas draws near, in a small mountain village, darkness creeps ever closer. It threatens to snuff the light, joy, and hope of the season's cheer. Who could possibly save them if not the creative imaginations of Becca, Kevin, and Dimitris...?
The fight rages on between the heroes of Olympus and the Nephrikos demon guards of Thebes. In the end, good conquers all! ... this party is good right...?
Our Olympian wanderers find what they are looking for, but find out that there are still ongoing issues for the citizens of Thebes. After the heroes volunteer to help someone find their missing husband, the band uncovers more than was expected...
The champions walk through the city of Thebes, exploring, learning, and plotting. It's a good thing Kyriaki is there to make these persuasion checks.
As Andrak and Aldora catch up to the rest of the champions, Kyriaki and Kastor have found their own adventure.
The champions have been traveling for about a month. They have seen demons, prisoners, Gods, Titans, a Tyrannosaurus Rex, secret and legendary locations, but what they have NOT seen is a bustling and lively city of humans... until now.
The party continues to Delphi. Kyriaki wonders about translation, Andrak discusses expiration dates, Malachi talks to Aldora about her family possibly being dead, and Kastor beats on a chimera with his staff. It's just another Monday here.
You know it’s been a productive day when you’ve both saved the world AND made new friends. Without accidentally setting any of them on fire, too! So in summary: three demons down, one giant multi-headed death lizard filleted, two new acquaintances made, and a party that somehow didn’t implode. Heroes, everyone! Heroes with a suspiciously high body count and a surprisingly good Yelp rating.
With Kevin making his DSP DM debut, he leads Becca, Dimitris, Todd, and Dylan through a town of monstrous mayhem, and murder.
The heroes defeat and study the demons left behind in the dirt, but the road ahead always proves to be a bit complicated...
A Minotaur, twisted by the demonic influence that invades the land, attacks the party. A scout, or working on his own, the party wastes no time to find out before leaving at first light. However, it is only a short time before more problems arise, and Malachi makes a bloody discovery...
