💁🏻 Concept: Teaching
In the New Testament, “teaching” refers to the Spirit-enabled ability to explain God’s Word clearly and apply it faithfully to people’s lives. This gift is essential for building up the church in truth, guarding against error, and nurturing discipleship. It is not merely about transferring information but shaping lives through Scripture. True teaching is rooted in the authority of God’s Word, empowered by the Spirit, and always centered on Christ and the gospel. Teachers are called to faithfully proclaim “the whole counsel of God” (Acts 20:27), equipping the saints for maturity and godliness.
📖 Bible Readings: 2 Peter 3:18
(Acts 2:42; Titus 2:1; James 3:1; Ephesians 4:11–15; John 14:23; Matthew 28:19–20)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:
1. Teaching biblically produces biblical Christians.
2. Teaching to obey Christ is the core of discipleship.
3. Teaching nourishes believers toward Christlikeness.
💪🏼 Applications:
Three convictions of intentional teaching:
1. Teach to move people closer to Christ.
2. Teach to make people obedient to Christ.
3. Teach to mold people into Christlikeness.
🎙Discussion:
Why is every Christian both a teacher and a student of the Word?
Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
🙏🏼 Prayer:
Gracious Lord, thank You for giving teachers to Your church who faithfully open and explain Your Word. Help me to treasure Your truth, grow in sound doctrine, and live a life shaped by Scripture. Guard me from error, and make me a vessel who can also encourage others through Your Word. May Christ always be at the center of all teaching and learning. In Christ’s name I pray, amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Sex and Glory
Sex is not ultimately about human pleasure but about God’s glory. When expressed within marriage, it reflects His design of love, faithfulness, and fruitfulness. The misuse of sex dishonors Him, but the right use magnifies His wisdom and goodness. As with every part of life, sex must be lived out in a way that exalts Christ and displays the beauty of the gospel.
📖 Bible Readings: Hebrews 13:4
(1 Corinthians 10:31; Genesis 2:24–25; Proverbs 5:18–19; Hebrews 13:4; Colossians 3:5; Ephesians 5:31–32; Colossians 3:17; Romans 12:1)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:

2. Sex must be done in God’s way.
3. Sex is holy and we have a duty to keep
it holy.
💪🏼 Applications:

Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
🙏🏼 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me that even sex is a gift meant for Your glory. Forgive me for the times I have viewed it selfishly or outside of Your design. Teach me to honor You in my thoughts, desires, and actions. Help me to love my spouse in faithfulness and purity, reflecting Christ’s love for the church. May my body and my relationships declare that You are holy and worthy of all praise. Let every part of my life, seen and unseen, shine with the beauty of Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Sex and Lordship
Sex is not an area of life that stands apart from Christ’s authority. As Lord, He calls us to submit every thought, desire, and action—including our sexuality—to His rule. When sex is lived under His Lordship, it becomes an act of worship, reflecting purity, faithfulness, and covenant love. Outside His Lordship, it leads to distortion and destruction.
📖 Bible Readings: 1 Corinthians 6:19–20
(Colossians 3:17; Romans 12:1–2; Philippians 2:9–11; 1 Thessalonians 4:3–5; Ephesians 5:3–5; Hebrews 13:4)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:
1. Sex is not a domain outside of Christ’s Lordship.
2. Sanctification is God’s will under Christ’s Lordship.
3. Surrender is the only response to Christ’s Lordship.
💪🏼 Applications:
1. Surrender your desires daily to Christ’s Lordship.
2. Separate from practices that dishonor His name.
3. Seek to glorify Christ in every area of intimacy.
🎙Discussion:
How does recognizing Christ’s Lordship change the way we view sex?
Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
🙏🏼 Prayer:
Lord God, I confess that every part of my life, including my sexuality, belongs to You. Teach me to honor You not just in words but in the secret places of my heart. Protect me from the lies of the world that separate sex from Your authority. Purify my desires so they reflect Your holiness. Help me to live as a faithful steward of the body You gave me. May my intimacy always glorify You and reflect the love of Christ for His church. Lead me to walk in purity, obedience, and joy under the Lordship of Christ. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Sex and Freedom
God designed sex to be a gift enjoyed within the covenant of marriage. Sin, however, distorts this gift, turning it into bondage and shame. True freedom is not found in indulging sinful desires but in surrendering them to Christ. In Him, we are set free from slavery to lust and enabled to honor God with our bodies.
📖 Bible Readings: John 8:10-11
(1 Corinthians 6:18–20; Galatians 5:1; Romans 6:12–14, 12:2; Colossians 3:5; 1 Thessalonians 4:3–5; 2 Timothy 2:22)

🙏🏼 Prayer:
Lord God, thank You for setting me free from the chains of sin. I confess that the world often tempts me to misuse what You created for good. Help me to walk not in bondage but in the freedom You purchased with Your blood. Guard my heart and mind from lust and renew my thoughts with Your Word. Teach me to honor You with my body and to find joy in purity. May my freedom not be for selfish desire, but for loving and serving You. Let me revisit the cross of Christ and find forgiveness and grace. In Christ’s name, Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Sex and Addiction
Sex is God’s gift, but sin can twist it into slavery. Addiction to sexual sin—whether lust, pornography, or immorality—distorts intimacy and destroys relationships. Instead of reflecting God’s covenant, it enslaves the body and mind, leaving emptiness. True freedom comes only through Christ, who redeems and restores our desires.
📖 Bible Readings: 1 Corinthians 6:13
(Proverbs 5:22; John 8:34–36; Galatians 5:1; Romans 6:12–14; 2 Timothy 2:22; James 1:14–15)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:
1. Porneia corrupts the mind.
2. Porneia enslaves the heart.
3. Porneia destroys the body.
💪🏼 Applications:
Break the chains of addiction:
1. Flee from porneia at all costs.
2. Form an accountability group.
3. Fight through the cross of Christ.
🎙Discussion:
What steps can we take to break free from the chains of sexual addiction?
Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
🙏🏼 Prayer:
Lord God, I confess that sexual sin can enslave and destroy what You created for good. Guard my heart from every temptation that seeks to control me. Help me to flee from lust and to pursue holiness with courage. Remind me that my body is Yours, redeemed by Your blood. Strengthen me to resist the lies of the enemy and to walk in the Spirit. Surround me with brothers and sisters who will encourage me in purity. Fill me with Your grace so that I may live in freedom. It is my desire to honor You in my thought, word, and deed. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Sex and Perversion
God created sex to be pure, joyful, and life-giving, but sin corrupted it through lust, adultery, and immorality. The Fall distorted God’s design, turning intimacy into idolatry and selfish indulgence (Romans 1:24–25). Instead of reflecting covenant love, perverted sex enslaves the heart and dishonors the body, which was meant to glorify God.
📖 Bible Readings: Leviticus 18
(Genesis 3:6–7; Romans 1:24–25; Leviticus 18:1–5; 2 Samuel 11:2–4; 1 Corinthians 6:18–20; Galatians 5:19–21; Colossians 3:5)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:
1. The only valid sex is within marriage.
2. The distortion of sex is called porneia.
3. The Lord hates porneia, and so should we.
💪🏼 Applications:
1. Flee from every form of sexual immorality.
2. Fight temptation by refusing to negotiate.
3. Fix your eyes on Christ and be busy.
🎙Discussion:
Why is it better to tell the truth that God hates porneia than to be silent?
Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
🙏🏼 Prayer:
Lord God, I confess that sin has twisted what You made holy. Too often the world celebrates and promotes perversion of sex instead of purity. Protect my mind and heart from lust and from every temptation that dishonors You. Remind me that my body is a temple of the Holy Spirit and belongs to You. Help me to turn away from secret sins and to walk in holiness. Cleanse me with the blood of Jesus and restore in me a pure heart. May my life reflect Your design, not the world’s distortion. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
🙏🏼 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving sex with a purpose rooted in Your wisdom. Help me to see it as more than a physical act but as a gift for love, unity, and fruitfulness. Guard me from the world’s lies that cheapen or distort Your design. Teach me to honor the covenant of marriage and to live in purity. May intimacy in marriage be an expression of love, trust, and worship before You. Strengthen my heart to reflect Christ’s faithful love in every relationship. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Sex is God’s good design, given within marriage as a sacred expression of love, unity, and fruitfulness (Genesis 2:24). 💁🏻 Concept: Systematic Theology
Systematic theology is the careful study that asks, “What does the whole Bible teach us today?” about any given topic. Unlike a mere collection of verses, it organizes biblical truth into a unified system that helps us understand God, His works, and His will in a consistent way. From creation to salvation, the whole counsel of God speaks with harmony. Scripture alone is our ultimate authority, this means that systematic theology must flow from the unity of God’s Word, centered on Christ and His redemptive work. It equips believers to think biblically, live faithfully, and guard against error.
📖 Bible Readings: Luke 24:27, 44
(2 Timothy 3:16-17; Acts 20:27; Isaiah 55:11; Hebrews 13:8; Ephesians 4:11–14)

1. The Bible is meant to be understood as a whole.
2. The aim is to grow in the knowledge of God.
3. The goal is to obey and glorify God.
💪🏼 Applications:

1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
🙏🏼 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving us Your Word as a lamp to our feet and a light to our path. I want to know You more and grow in my relationship with You. It is also my deepest desire to obey and glorify You. I am Yours. Use me for Your honor. In Jesus’ name, amen!

God’s attributes of perfection, blessedness, beauty, and glory are called summary attributes because they encompass and evaluate all of God’s other attributes as a unified whole. His beauty reveals the harmony of all His perfections shining together. And His glory is the radiant display of all that He is. 💁🏻 Concept: Sufficiency of Scripture
The sufficiency of Scripture means that the Bible contains all the words of God we need for salvation, faith, and obedience. God progressively revealed His Word throughout redemptive history, culminating in Christ and the completed canon. Today, Scripture is not lacking but fully equips the believer for life and godliness. This is the meaning of "Sola Scriptura.”

May I be blessed, just as in Psalm 1:3, which says: “That person is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither—whatever they do prospers.” In Jesus’ name, amen!

💁🏻 Concept: Subordinationism
Subordinationism is the false teaching that the Son is inferior to the Father in essence, being, or divinity. This error denies the full deity of Christ, reducing Him to a lesser divine being rather than the eternal and coequal Son of God. Scripture, however, clearly teaches the eternal equality of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. While Christ in His incarnation willingly submitted to the Father’s will in role and function, this does not mean He is lesser in being. The Son is homoousios—of the same essence with the Father—equally God, eternal, and worthy of worship.

💁🏻 Concept: States of Jesus Christ
The states of Jesus Christ describe the different relationships He had to God’s law, authority, and honor during His redemptive work. These are summarized in two stages: humiliation and exaltation. In His humiliation, Christ laid aside His rights, submitting to the law, suffering, and death for our salvation (Philippians 2:6–8). In His exaltation, He was raised, ascended, seated at the Father’s right hand, and crowned with glory and honor (Philippians 2:9–11).
📖 Bible Readings: Philippians 2:5–11
(Isaiah 53:3–5; Luke 24:26; Acts 2:32–36; Hebrews 2:9; 1 John 2:6; 1 Peter 2:21; John 13:14-15; James 4:10; 1 Peter 5:6)

💁🏻 Concept: Spirituality of God
The spirituality of God means that He is not composed of physical matter, has no spatial dimensions, and cannot be perceived by human senses in the same way we perceive created things. God is spirit—eternal, infinite, and transcendent above all creation. This truth reminds us that God is not confined or limited, yet He is near and actively present with His people. God’s spirituality sets Him apart from idols and false gods, affirms His simplicity and immaterial nature, and assures believers that He is to be worshiped in spirit and in truth.
📖 Bible Readings: Deuteronomy 4:15-16
(1 Timothy 1:17; 1 John 4:12; John 4:24)

Heavenly Father, You are Spirit— infinite and beyond all that I can imagine. Forgive me whenever I invent my own god, for I acknowledge that this is idolatry. Thank You that, though I cannot see You with my eyes, I can know You through Your Word and Spirit. I believe in You according to the Bible, not according to my own thoughts about You. Teach me to worship You in spirit and in truth, for who You truly are. Guard my heart from false images of You, and help me to walk by faith, not by sight. In Jesus’ name, amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Spiritual Body
The “spiritual body” is the type of body believers will receive at the future resurrection. It does not mean an “immaterial” or ghost-like form, but a real, glorified body fully suited for eternal life and perfectly responsive to the Spirit’s leading. Paul contrasts the perishable, dishonored, and weak natural body with the imperishable, glorious, and powerful spiritual body (1 Corinthians 15:42–44). Just as Christ was raised bodily, so also we will be raised bodily, yet transformed. Our hope is not in escaping the body, but in receiving a renewed, incorruptible body that will never again be subject to sin, decay, or death.
📖 Bible Readings: 1 Corinthians 15:42–44
(Philippians 3:20–21; 1 Corinthians 15:42–44, 49–53; Romans 8:23; 1 John 3:2; Jeremiah 29:7; 1 John 2:15-17)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:
1. We are called to be earthly, not worldly.
2. We will be raised bodily, not just spiritually.
3. We worship the creator, not the creation.
💪🏼 Applications:
1. Be an earthly Christian.
2. Be an engaging citizen.
3. Be an exalter of Christ.
🎙Discussion:
Why is it important to know that God cares about both the body and the spirit, the earth and heaven?
Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
🙏🏼 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for the glorious hope of the resurrection and the promise of a spiritual body. I now realize that the body is just as important as the spirit, and the earth is just as important as heaven. I praise You because You are not only the King of heaven but also the King over all the earth. I pray that I will become more vocal about my faith in Christ. May I become courageous in telling all people that I am a follower of Jesus. I am a proud disciple of Jesus. May Christ be exalted in my life, my family, my work, my hobbies, and even in the smallest details of my daily activities. In Christ’s name I pray, amen!

💁🏻 Concept: Spirit
The spirit is the immaterial part of man, often used interchangeably with “soul,” yet in Scripture sometimes distinguished as the deepest seat of life, understanding, and fellowship with God. It is by the spirit that man communes with God (Job 32:8; Proverbs 20:27). Unlike the body, the spirit does not perish but returns to God who gave it (Ecclesiastes 12:7). While man is a unity of body and soul/spirit, his spirit is not autonomous—it is utterly dependent on God’s sustaining grace. Because of sin, our spirits are dead apart from Christ (Ephesians 2:1), but through regeneration the Holy Spirit renews us, making us alive to God and enabling us to worship Him “in spirit and truth” (John 4:24).
📖 Bible Readings: Zechariah 12:1
(Ecclesiastes 12:7; Job 32:8; Proverbs 20:27; John 4:24; Ephesians 2:1–5; Hebrews 12:9; Job 32:8; Proverbs 20:27; Ephesians 2:1; John 4:24)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:
1. The spirit was formed by God within us.
2. The spirit will return to God upon death.
3. The spirit will possess a renewed body.
💪🏼 Applications:
1. See yourself as immortal.
2. Plan for both the short term and the long term.
3. Make a difference today—and for eternity.
🎙Discussion:
What is your ultimate life goal here on earth? Is it truly worth pursuing?
Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
🙏🏼 Prayer:
Father, I acknowledge that my life and breath come from You alone. Thank You for giving me a spirit capable of knowing and worshiping You, and for renewing me through the Holy Spirit in Christ. Forgive me for the times I live just for myself. Forgive me for not focusing on what really matters. Strengthen me each day to walk in holiness, worship You sincerely, and depend on Your sustaining grace. May my spirit glorify You until I return to You. In Jesus’ name, amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Special Revelation
Special revelation is God’s direct communication of His truth to specific people at specific times, culminating in the Scriptures. Unlike general revelation—which reveals God’s existence and power through creation and conscience—special revelation gives us God’s actual words, His redemptive plan, and His will for salvation. In Christ, the Word made flesh, and in Scripture, the written Word, God has spoken clearly and authoritatively.
📖 Bible Readings: Hebrews 1:1–3
(2 Timothy 3:16–17; Psalm 19:7–11; John 1:14, 18)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:
If you have God’s special revelation:
1. You have truly known Christ.
2. You have a regenerated heart.
3. You have acquired true knowledge.
💪🏼 Applications:
1. Understand that you are set apart.
2. Uncover your heart’s true treasure.
3. Use biblical wisdom in every decision.
🎙Discussion:

Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
🙏🏼 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for not leaving us in the dark but for speaking to us through Your Word and through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Please enable me to treasure Christ above all things and above everyone else. Help me to cherish Your Word, read it every day, meditate on it day and night, and live according to it. Keep me from error and guide me always in Your truth. May all my decision by guided by Your Spirit. Make me victorious and successful today. In Jesus’ name, amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Special Grace
Special grace—also called saving grace—is the sovereign work of God whereby He brings sinners to salvation in Christ. Unlike common grace, which is given to all, special grace is effectual and particular: it is applied only to God’s elect, drawing them irresistibly to faith and repentance. It is not earned or deserved but flows from God’s eternal love and covenant mercy in Christ.
📖 Bible Readings: Ephesians 2:8–9
(Titus 2:11; John 6:37, 44; Romans 8:29–30; 2 Timothy 1:9; Matthew 5:45; Acts 14:17; Luke 12:6-7)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:
1. Common grace is for all people.
2. Special grace is for believers only.
3. Jesus is the most special gift.
💪🏼 Applications:
1. Rely on God’s common grace.
2. Do not envy other people.
3. Thank God for special grace.
🎙Discussion:
Why should we be the most grateful and satisfied people in the world?
Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
🙏🏼 Prayer:
Gracious Father, forgive me because often times I envy other people for their riches, happiness, and accomplishments. Forgive me for not focusing on what I already have. Forgive me for forgetting that I have Jesus. I am a child of God, I am saved, and I have eternal life.

💁🏻 Concept: Speaking in Tongues
Among Christian traditions, there are two kinds of speaking in tongues:
1. Glossolalia is ecstatic speech, unintelligible, and not a human language.
2. Xenolalia, however, is the miraculous ability to speak real human languages unknown to the speaker, as seen at Pentecost in Acts 2, where diverse nations heard the gospel in their own tongue.
📖 Bible Readings: Acts 2:4-12
(Acts 2:1–12; 1 Corinthians 12:10–11; 1 Corinthians 14:18–19, 27–28, 39–40)
👨🏻💻 Teachings:
Speaking in Tongues:
1. It is an intelligible human language.
2. It requires interpretation.
3. It confirms the gospel for all nations.
💪🏼 Applications:
1. Do not obsess over studying speaking in tongues.
2. Pray with your own language.
3. Avoid mysticism and shamanism.
🎙Discussion:
Do you believe that speaking in tongues in the Bible is human language (Xenolalia) or heavenly language (Glossolalia)?
Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
🙏🏼 Prayer:
Lord God, thank You for giving us Your Spirit and the truth of Your Word. Please give us wisdom to talk about tongues with humility and kindness, always putting Christ first. Keep us from pride, confusion, and fighting. Help us love one another even when we do not agree. Teach us to treasure our unity in the gospel more than our differences. Help as respect one another even though we have differences in theology. May our prayers, words, and worship bring glory to You alone. In Jesus’ name, amen.
💁🏻 Concept: Son of God
The title “Son of God” designates Jesus as the eternal, divine Son who is equal in nature with the Father. Biblically, this title reveals His deity, His unique relationship with the Father, and His role in redemption. Unlike believers who are called children of God by adoption, Jesus is the Son by nature, sharing the same essence with the Father. In the Old Testament, the promised Messiah was called God’s Son, fulfilled perfectly in Christ. This title safeguards both the full deity of Christ and His eternal Sonship. To deny it is to undermine the gospel, for only the divine Son could accomplish salvation for sinners.
📖 Bible Readings: John 1:14
(Psalm 2:7, 22:22; John 5:18; Hebrews 1:3, 2:11; Colossians 1:15–17; John 1:1-3, 14; Matthew 12:49-50, 28:10; Mark 3:34-35; John 20:17; Romans 8:29; )
👨🏻💻 Teachings:
1. Jesus is the one and only Son of God.
2. Jesus is our sacrificial and loving Big Brother.
3. Jesus’ blood secures our adoption into God’s family.
💪🏼 Applications:
1. Show gratitude by loving like Jesus.
2. Sacrifice for Jesus by offering your best.
3. Share Christ without being ashamed.
🎙Discussion:
To whom will you share the power of the blood of Christ today?
Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
🙏🏼 Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Your one and only Son, Jesus Christ. He is my Big Brother who has loved me to the very end. He died on the cross on my behalf and bore the penalty of the sins I deserve. In gratitude, I ask that Your Spirit enable me to remain loyal to Christ until my final breath. Deepen my commitment to Jesus and help me live not for myself but for Him alone. Jesus is the Son of God, my King, who died for me. Lord, I offer my life to You as a living sacrifice. May You be glorified. In Christ’s name, amen.

💁🏻 Concept: Sovereignty
Sovereignty is God’s supreme rule and authority over all things. His will covers everything that comes to pass, leaving nothing outside His control. Even evil and misfortune are subject to His governance, fulfilling His wise purposes. This sovereignty is not passive permission but active direction of history. For believers, it is a source of deep comfort, assuring them that every trial and circumstance is ordered for their ultimate good and God’s glory.

(Proverbs 19:21; Isaiah 46:9–10; Daniel 4:34–35; Romans 8:28–30; Psalm 23:5, 116:15; Acts 7:53-60)

Alternative questions:
1. What have you learned from this devotion?
2. How can you practically apply our devotion?
🙏🏼 Prayer:
