Reverse
Party Favorz is back with Volume II of the Fall Throwback Dance Party mix for 2025 — and this one spanks. As promised, this set leans into familiarity with recognizable dubs woven through tracks from your past. Remixers have a real talent for pulling together different genres and decades, creating something new that still sparks instant memories. Some of these combinations hit so well they’ll have you out of your seat.
A Much-Needed Medical Breakthrough
Yesterday’s outpatient procedure to seal off the faulty veins in my leg was a turning point. For the first time in months, I woke up without that familiar throbbing rush the moment my feet hit the floor. That alone felt like a gift. Later this morning, I’ll be checking into Emory Hospital for a full debridement under anesthesia. Many of you saw the earlier photo I shared, so you already know how important this step is. Clearing all the necrotic tissue at once is far more effective than the four months of manual removals I endured earlier this year — a slow, brutally painful process even with medication.
Why Volume III Will Be Briefly Delayed
Because of this short hospital stay, the release of Volume III — the final chapter of the Fall Throwback Dance Party series — will be pushed back slightly. Even so, we’re still aligned with the rest of the year’s plans. Once I’m home and settled, the next Club Fusion installment, Jingle Electric, will be moving forward.
A Tough Call About the Holiday Edition
Looking Toward Thanksgiving Weekend
I’m also making the difficult decision to skip this year’s Holiday Edition. It’s not just the time crunch — producing those mixes costs over sixty dollars each, and right now, that kind of expense isn’t realistic. On top of my medical bills, the avalanche of costs from my last hospital stay has been enormous. Between essential Amazon purchases and replacing a bricked phone, the financial hit has been hard to ignore. If you’ve checked the donation portal lately, you know the situation already speaks for itself.
Volume III will be released the weekend after Thanksgiving. With the holiday slowing down the constant flow of nurses, physical therapists, and occupational therapists, I should finally have the quiet time needed to wrap it up.
If You Want Party Favorz To Continue
If these mixes have carried you through workouts, weekends, holidays, or late-night escapes — and you want them to keep coming — please consider supporting Party Favorz through the donation portal. Even small contributions help stabilize things during a year where medical demands have taken such a toll. Your support genuinely keeps this project alive.
I’ll be back next weekend, and until then…ENJOY!

Party Favorz is back in the saddle and kicking off the next round of the Fall Throwback Dance Party series. This first volume blends 70s, 80s, and 90s gems into a Funky House ride that hits all the right nerves. There’s a strong lean into 80s-style R&B dance grooves this time—plenty of deep cuts, and many so under-the-radar that even I had trouble tracing their origins. Still, the sound is unmistakably rooted in classic 80s R&B club culture, and these tracks hold up right alongside the songs you already know. Nothing here breaks the flow; it only adds to the flavor. Expect even more familiarity in the next two volumes of the Fall edition.
I knocked out this mix around two in the morning—insomnia is still running the show. Nighttime pain keeps me from getting more than a few hours of sleep, but I’m hoping that shifts soon. I’ve got outpatient surgery coming up to improve blood flow in my leg, which should speed the healing process. After that, I’m scheduled for another procedure to remove the necrotic tissue you may have seen in the not-so-pleasant photo I shared earlier. On top of that, I have a rotating team of nurses handling wound care several times a week, plus physical and occupational therapists helping me strengthen my lower extremities and learn how to maneuver the wheelchair safely inside my apartment. It’s a lot at once, but I’m adjusting to the chaos one day at a time.
As if that wasn’t enough, my phone ended up bricked while I was in the hospital, and to top it off, someone stole my Tiffany’s wedding ring during the ordeal. Now I’m juggling phone replacement and account security on top of everything else. A new phone arrives Monday, but until then, I’m locked out of my Facebook and Instagram accounts, which makes staying connected a little harder than usual. Just another thing to work around while life keeps throwing surprises my way.
All of this has thrown off my usual workflow for building these mixes. The hardest part is not being able to drive, which means I can’t preview the sets in the car—my old go-to for checking transitions, flow, and overall energy. For years, listening in the car has been my final quality check. Without that, I have to trust my instincts during the build phase instead of reviewing the mixes in full ahead of release. Thankfully, the instincts are still sharp, but if you catch any transitions that sound slightly off, let me know and I’ll fix them.
Meanwhile, the Party Favorz homepage is going through a few cosmetic changes. Nothing major—streaming and downloads are still running normally. Some of the visual updates hit a snag, and we’re working through them, so don’t panic if something looks a little odd. We’ve had offers to completely rebuild the website, but a full redesign just isn’t in the budget right now. So we’re polishing what we can, modernizing the look bit by bit, and keeping everything functional while we work through it.
Volume 2 of the Fall Throwback Dance Party is almost wrapped, and Volume 3 is already queued up next. Both should land in the coming week and bring us back into more familiar territory.
If you’re craving more of the Funky House flavor that sneaks into this set, check out the Funky House Sessions. If you're more into the classic era tracks that shaped this series, you’ll find plenty in BackSpin and other retro genres.
Before I close out, I want to mention something important. Party Favorz has always been a labor of love, but keeping it running—especially right now—comes with real costs. If you enjoy the mixes, the history, the artwork, the remasters, or the steady flow of releases all year long, consider dropping a little support my way. Even a small recurring contribution helps keep things afloat while I navigate these medical challenges and still push myself to deliver the music you come here for.
If you're able and willing, you can support Party Favorz here: Support the PodcastNo pressure, no guilt—just an open invitation.
Until the next time...ENJOY!

Party Favorz is back with our latest Funky House set, Funktastical Disco 2025, where future funk meets the dancefloor — and boy, does this one pack a punch!
This episode brings pure energy from start to finish. It’s a sonic journey through Disco House, Soul Funk, Nu Disco, and Big Room House, with every track shimmering in glitter and groove. Expect a full-on celebration of rhythm, packed with clever lyric samples pulled from iconic songs of the past. You’ll probably recognize a few of them, but if you get stumped, drop me an email and I’ll fill in the blanks.
The Art of Sampling and a Soulful Nod
Let’s kick it off with the opening track — an absolute gem. Shabi delivers a fierce update of Loleatta Holloway’s “I Need Someone,” one of her lesser-known mid-80s songs that leaned more electronic than her classic disco sound. The original was by Live Element and is overflowing with those trademark Holloway ad-libs we all know and love. Shabi doesn’t use them all, but the ones he does highlight are unmistakable. The result is a full-bodied Disco House stomper that turns nostalgia into pure, floor-shaking energy. If you haven’t heard the original, do yourself a favor and hunt it down — it’s a time capsule of mid-80s electronica that still feels ahead of its time.
Refining the Groove
While Funktastical Disco 2025 was wrapped a week ago, I ended up taking the scalpel to it. The original mix was longer, but it needed serious trimming — some tracks just didn’t measure up to the Party Favorz standard. Thankfully, several fresh releases dropped just in time last Friday, and after swapping out about ten filler cuts, the final result hits harder, flows better, and keeps that high-voltage funky pulse alive throughout.
The mix does take a few smoother Funky House turns, giving brief moments to catch your breath before diving right back into that fiery groove. It’s relentless, bold, and built for anyone who lives for that feeling when the bassline hits just right.
A Tribute to Ron Carroll
Before closing out, I want to take a moment to honor a true legend of 90s House Music — Ron Carroll, who recently passed away. His influence shaped generations of producers and vocalists, and he was still giving us gold this year through both his remixes and collaborations. To pay tribute, I chose one of his final powerhouse tracks, “What A Wonderful World” by Bob Sinclar & Axwell, featuring Ron’s unmistakable vocals, to close out the set.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=579pmr9qpGs
The message couldn’t be more fitting given everything going on in the world right now. It’s a reminder that even through the chaos, there’s beauty and unity in music. I’d like to think Ron would have approved of this one.
So, lace up those platform boots, grab your drink of choice, and let the glitter rain down — because Funktastical Disco 2025 is everything the name promises and more.
Until the next time...ENJOY!

After skipping last year, Party Favorz brings back the HW series — and this one hits hard. Featuring the latest Future House, Tech House, Techno, Bass House, and NuDisco tracks tearing up dancefloors right now, HW25 isn’t just another Halloween mix — it’s a full-on experience.
We’ve always resisted overloading our Halloween sets with gimmicky effects, but this year we decided to throw the rulebook out the window. While we didn’t saturate the mix with cheesy sound effects that distract from the music, we did craft a sinister custom intro that slides straight into the Bingo Players’ mashup of “Rattle” and the “Halloween” movie theme. From there, it’s a dark, pulsating ride through modern reworks of classic horror themes and songs tied to the ghoulish festivities that define the season — all perfectly blended to keep the music front and center where it belongs.
This set leans into the darker, heavier edge of the night — because let’s face it, Halloween calls for a little menace. But it’s not all shadows and chills. We threw in some brighter, high-energy moments too, like a bootleg remix of Lady Gaga’s “The Dead Dance,” which stays true to the original while dialing up the heat.
Other standouts include:
SIDEPIECE’s fresh take on the millennial classic “Cry for You” by September.
“Diamonds, Baby” by DancingFaraz, a hidden gem flying under just about everyone’s radar.
“Yes Baby” by Madison Beer, because no Party Favorz mix is complete without a pop-driven punch.
“My Gusta” by Eli Brown & GreeLy, another underrated cut that deserves serious club play.
Don Diablo’s shimmering rework of Fleetwood Mac’s “Little Lies,” which is doing well on dance radio but criminally underappreciated elsewhere.
And the hauntingly beautiful “Ishq Hai (This Is Love)” by Anurag Saikia, Armin van Buuren & Craig David, blending East-meets-West rhythms that should be charting — but inexplicably aren’t.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0onVF7Odcdc
Then there’s the mysterious one: “Deep End” by BKAYE — a track that showed up in my promos with no info, no sender, and no clue where it came from. After scouring my Gmail, Beatport, and ZipDJ accounts, I finally traced a hint of it back to a SoundCloud promo email — long since deleted from their platform. When I reached out to BKAYE, he confirmed it was his track but admitted he didn’t send it. Still, he gave me his blessing to use it. The vocalist remains a mystery, but one thing’s for sure: this track is absolute fire. I’ve had it on repeat in my car and headphones for weeks. Do yourself a favor — follow BKAYE on Spotify and Apple Music. When “Deep End” officially drops, it should go straight to your playlists.
To round out the set, we threw in several bootlegs and mashups to keep things unpredictable. A particular favorite is the BARTS remix of “Which One” by Drake and Central Cee. It’s addictive — the kind of track that burrows into your brain and refuses to leave.
We’re already deep into production on our next Funky House Sessions, and it’s shaping up to be pure Funktastical Disco Heaven for all you House and Disco heads out there.
Until the next time...ENJOY!

Some time back, I railed against the Circuit House scene for recycling the same tired template. Too many tracks lacked originality, often missing a proper hook, while others simply forced the vocals of a classic song into a pre-used structure instead of building instrumentation around the vocal to keep its essence intact.
Now, I can’t say Las Bibas From Vizcaya was responding to that criticism (probably not), but the fabulously talented producer dropped the infectious The Tribal House Is Dead — which almost felt like a cheeky swipe at me. Regardless, the track resonated with Circuit House fans, and Jace Me with Toy Armada took it to the next level with their remix. Far be it from me to ignore a great record.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4N0ZKtdCEoM
With the exception of one song in the Fall Edition 2025, it seems like someone is finally listening. Suddenly, there’s a refreshing variety of styles and genres that still fit neatly under the Circuit House umbrella. Yes, you’ll hear plenty of big tribal beats, but you’ll also find Tea Dance-styled Funky House and darker progressive moments that round out the set beautifully. Variety is what makes this mix one of our favorites.
Guy Scheiman’s Double Play
Guy Scheiman absolutely nailed it — not once, but twice. The irony isn’t lost on me that this Israeli Jewish DJ dropped a Circuit House track in Spanish that connects instantly with Latin America. “Quiero Un Amor (I Want a Love(r)) hits all the right notes while expanding his global reach. His second entry, This Fire, is another powerhouse House track perfect for any Tea Dance or Circuit party. While it doesn’t directly sample Thelma Houston’s Disco classic Don’t Leave Me This Way, the phrasing and delivery are clearly inspired by it. You can’t help but think of the original while listening, which makes the track both familiar and fresh. Right now, Party Favorz is genuinely impressed with what Mr. Scheiman is laying down.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z5VNAsK5pbY
Sampling With a Twist
Speaking of sampling, the recent EDM smash Together by David Guetta, Hypaton, and Bonnie Tyler got a Circuit House makeover from HenriqMoraes. This version is easily one of our favorite tracks of 2025. By weaving in lines from the early ’80s pop-drama staple Total Eclipse of the Heart, the song shifts from a love ballad to an anthem of unity that works on multiple levels. Let’s face it — no matter your age, you’d have to live under a rock not to know the original. It’s been reworked countless times since the ’90s and included in various commercials, but Henriq is the only Circuit DJ bold enough to spin it for the gay dance floor.
And I need you now tonightAnd I need you more than everAnd if you only hold me tightWe'll be holding on foreverAnd we'll only be making it right'Cause we'll never be wrongTogether
The Return of the Fabulous Antoinette Roberson
Antoinette Roberson, best known for her vocals on The Lover That You Are from the ’90s, teams up with Dirty Disco for Sense of Danger. Mark once again proves he knows how to deliver an infectious groove that stays in your head. He even released a big-room dub that takes the track further, but since that version cut back too much on the vocal hook, we stuck with the original.
What makes Jose Spinnin stand out is his veteran status in the scene. He’s one of those rare producers who instinctively knows the level of production a track needs to shine. More importantly, he has an unmatched ability to find the hook — that one element guaranteed to ignite a dancefloor. That’s why his name continues to carry weight after all these years.
Disco, Funk, and Beyond
For those craving deeper Disco vibes, we’ve got B.T.X. from Jose Spinnin Cortes, Luis Alvarado, Lupita Kush, and Brandon White. And if that’s not enough, Niki Haris, Donna De Lory, and Tracy Young deliver the delicious I Know You, I Live You, with Jose Spinnin on remix duty.
Gaga Reclaims the Floor
Of course, Lady Gaga is back in the mix with Dead Dance. Naturally, the Circuit DJS jumped all over this one. For our release, we went with the Jace Me and Toy Armada remix, though the Sakalem version deserves a spin as well. When it comes to Gaga, you simply can’t go wrong.
Finishing Strong: Deep, Dark, and Peak Hour Ready
We wrap up Fall Edition 2025 with two peak-hour heavy hitters: Scruff by Eliad Cohen and The Forest by Junior Senna, the latter sampling a familiar ’90s hook. Both tracks plunge into deep, dark territory and leave the listener hungry for more.
So buckle up — because Party Favorz isn’t slowing down. A brand-new Club Fusion set drops next week, followed by a Funky House collection before we veer into classic territory once again.
Until the next time...ENJOY!

Party Favorz is back with what may end up being our only Chill Out Sessions release of the year. With everything going on since March, this one kept getting delayed. But I knew I had to deliver at least one set because this series has a loyal fan base. And really, who am I to deny the people what they want?
We all need stress relief after a long day, whether it’s work frustration or resisting the urge to flip someone off after they cut you off in traffic. If anything, this mix might just save you from becoming another case of road rage.
Many of us, myself included, tend to go full-throttle at 150% until we burn out. Sometimes you just need to sit back, breathe, touch grass, and let go. That’s exactly what this series was made for — creating the perfect atmosphere to unwind and recharge.
This time, I pulled back on the heavy Afro House influence, though you’ll still hear a few tracks from that genre. Instead, the set leans deeper into Organic House, Deep House, and Lounge blending into a soothing soundscape that works as background music but also rewards a closer listen. The mix flows in a way that lets your mind drift and settle.
On a personal note, I’ve been dealing with a bit of aquarium drama. A shipment error left me with two females and their subsequent fry, which quickly turned into a population explosion. As much as it pains me, I’m forced to thin the herd for the sake of the entire community tank. The males clearly can’t keep it in their pants, and the result is pure chaos when it comes to food and space. It’s not fair to the females, who’ve done nothing wrong, but it’s necessary to prevent stress and keep the tank peaceful.
Meanwhile, I’m ahead of schedule with next week’s release already wrapped, and playlists in the works that will carry us into October. Expect a steady flow of your favorites dropping over the next several weeks.
Until the next time...ENJOY!

Happy Friday everyone! Party Favorz is back with the third and final installment of BackSpin [2011–2012]. This edition wraps up our journey through the Electro House classics and millennial dance hits that defined this two-year period.
This set brings the energy with unforgettable anthems that shaped the era. This set include era-defining songs like “Hello” by Martin Solveig and Dragonette, “We Found Love” by Rihanna and Calvin Harris, “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO, and “Save the World” by Swedish House Mafia—a group that probably deserves their own Legacy entry in the near future.
Of course, no mix from this period would be complete without David Guetta. His collaborations with powerhouse vocalists dominated clubs worldwide. From “Turn Me On” with Nicki Minaj to “Titanium” with Sia, Guetta proved unstoppable. Titanium in particular became the defining anthem of the decade, pairing raw emotion with a drop that still gives chills.

Spectrum: From Indie Roots to Electro House Anthem
Another standout is “Spectrum (Say My Name)” by Florence + The Machine. Originally produced by Paul Epworth for the band’s 2011 album Ceremonials, the track was already an international hit thanks to Florence Welch’s soaring vocals and the band’s signature art-pop drama.
It was only later that Calvin Harris stepped in with his remix, transforming it into a club juggernaut. His reimagined version climbed to the top of the UK Singles Chart and became a festival favorite, bridging the gap between indie and EDM. More than a decade later, the song continues to evolve with new Afro House reworks and a recent Morgan Seatree remix, proving just how enduring its core melody and vocals are.

Party Rockers and Dancefloor Mayhem
While the big-room anthems carried the charts, some of the most infectious energy came from unexpected corners. One of our favorite party tracks from this period is “Loca People (What the F*)” by Sak Noel**. The original and its accompanying remixes were stellar in their own right, but it was the bootleg mashup by DJs From Mars that really lit dancefloors.
In particular, DJs From Mars—in one of their earliest appearances—delivered a mashup that still turns heads. By blending Sak Noel’s banger with Bingo Players and a familiar riff from The White Stripes, they created a genre-bending track that sent crowds into hysteria. If you were on the dancefloor when this dropped, you know the chaos it unleashed. Their version wasn't just a remix; it was a reinvention, taking an already memorable song and pushing it into next-level territory.

Closing the Chapter on 2011–2012
BackSpin Volume 11 officially closes out the 2011–2012 era of Electro House classics, but the journey continues. We’ll pick things back up with BackSpin [2013–2014] early in 2026, continuing the timeline and showcasing the evolution of EDM into its next phase.
Before then, Party Favorz has something special lined up. By November, we’ll release a special edition that looks further back—from 1999 through the early 2000s. These big room classics were the precursor to the Electro House explosion of the 2010s, a period many consider the golden age of club music. Expect high energy, head-snapping BPMs, and big progressive tribal beats that laid the foundation for everything that followed.
Even with BackSpin [2011–2012] Volume 11 closing this chapter, we’re not slowing down. More sets, more genres, and more reasons to keep your weekends lit with the very best in dance music.
While you're here, consider chipping in by donating to Party Favorz—your support keeps these dance mixes coming.
Until the next time…ENJOY!

This episode has been updated: Bass was added to the Ozzy Osbourne tribute "Crazy Train" and the transition for TOMAZO - Turn On The Lights x Dont Stop The Music x The Blaze (Tomazo Mashup) was shortened.
One thing oddly missing from this year’s summer soundtrack is the elusive “Song of the Summer.” Every year, there’s usually one track—whether pop, hip hop, dance, or even a left-field sleeper—that dominates airwaves and burrows into our brains. This summer? Not so much.
Last year, Sabrina Carpenter’s Espresso filled that role perfectly, becoming the go-to anthem from beach parties to TikTok reels. Her label clearly hoped Manchild would repeat the success, but while catchy, it never caught fire in quite the same way. Even with an impressive batch of bootleg remixes (some of them excellent), it didn’t fit the overall mood of this mix and was subsequently dropped.
How We’re Consuming Dance Music in 2025
As I’ve mentioned before, people aren’t just relying on traditional radio anymore. Music discovery is happening everywhere—Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, TikTok, and countless other platforms. For the current generation, the club scene feels fractured, with most of the real momentum happening at massive EDM festivals. Having moved to the suburbs and living in a dry county, I’m admittedly far removed from it these days, but even from a distance it’s clear the club culture isn’t what it once was.
Dance music itself isn’t dead—it’s just shifting in how people experience it.
Diversity Defines Summer Heat
One thing that stands out across our Summer Heat 2025 mixes is the sheer variety. Unlike years past when a couple of styles dominated, the sound is now wide open. That diversity raises the difficulty factor when building seamless sets.
Take Afro House, for example. It had its hot minute, but it’s better suited for chill sets than high-energy dance floors. Transitioning from 120 BPM to 128 BPM can feel clunky without chopping tracks, and we’ve never been about jarring cuts just to get from one song to the next. Party Favorz is all about creating a musical journey, where each transition feels intentional. We may not hit perfection every time, but we get pretty damn close.
What You’ll Hear in Volume 2
Volume 2 is packed with the latest summer dance songs, club anthems, and fresh remixes that define the season. Alongside those are perennial dance classics resurrected through mashups and bootlegs—the kind of surprises long-time listeners expect from this series.
I do want to clear something up, though. The opener, Heartbreak Melody by Alan Walker and FAANGS, has been making waves on TikTok, with one viral video calling it an “80s classic.” Let’s get this straight: it’s not from the 80s. The track samples Be My Lover by La Bouche, a massive 90s Eurodance anthem. That song didn’t just dominate clubs—it crossed over to mainstream radio, paving the way for an entire wave of Eurodance acts.
Here at Party Favorz, we even dedicated an entire series to 90s Eurodance, celebrating every bit of its cheesy, hands-in-the-air glory. Walker and FAANGS deserve credit—they’ve reimagined the track with new lyrics while keeping the essence of the original. But mislabeling it as an 80s song? That’s just lazy research.

Looking Ahead
This mix acts as a bit of a reset as we transition into fall—something that seems to be arriving earlier than usual here. Coming up in the next few weeks, Party Favorz will wrap up the final two editions of BackSpin, covering some of the biggest club songs from 2011–2012. After that, we’ll drop our only Chill Out set of the year, plus a few updated entries in the Diva Hall of Fame.
On a personal note, I’ll also keep everyone updated on the saga of my shin infection (yes, looks like that one’s sticking around into next year).
Until the next time...ENJOY!

Party Favorz is back with Beach House 2025 Volume 2, the late-summer set built for sunblock, salt air, and after-dark glow. We’re still squeezing every ray out of the season, so this mix keeps the tempo warm and the basslines friendly. Think sleek Nu Disco, chunky Disco House, and muscular Funky House that refuses to sit down. It’s breezy on top, heavy underneath. It’s exactly what August asks for.
Why this volume hits different
Beach House 2025 Volume 2 leans into groove, not shock value. You’ll hear shimmering rhythm guitar, rubbery bass, and clap-happy percussion that make everything feel just a little lighter. That’s intentional. Big drops have their place, but this moment favors movement: rolling filters, hand-played keys, and vocals that smile back at you. The result is a set that still bangs at pool level 10, yet works just as well on a twilight drive down the coast.
Old feels, new polish
A thread of nostalgia runs through the mix—updates of familiar hooks, reimagined disco riffs, and fresh vocals that land like a knowing wink. These aren’t carbon copies. They’re respectful rebuilds with modern low-end, tight edits, and just enough sparkle to cut through today’s systems. That balance—vintage charm with 2025 punch—keeps Beach House 2025 Volume 2 replayable long after the last beach chair folds.
Spotlight: Jonas Blue’s “Edge Of Desire”
One name you’ll notice here is Jonas Blue. Widely known for radio-ready pop-dance smashes (“Fast Car,” “Perfect Strangers,” “Rise”), he detours toward classic house with “Edge Of Desire”—a collab with Malive released on Defected. That’s a statement in itself: Defected remains a bellwether for groove-forward house, and this cut slides in with syrupy strings, squelchy bass, and a topline that could have lived in a late-’70s A-room—then got turbo-detailed for modern floors. It’s already circulating on key playlists and DJ sets for good reason. WikipediaDefected RecordsSpotify
Why it matters now
The bigger picture: club music keeps bending back toward disco DNA—hooks, harmony, and human swing. You can draw a line from Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia moment to the surge of feel-good Disco House now powering festivals and day parties. And when artists anchored in the pop-dance lane start delivering records like “Edge Of Desire,” it confirms where the energy is flowing as we wrap 2025’s summer run. VOCAL GIRLS
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lACS1E3HQGM
The sound of the season
Here’s what ties the set together:
Nu Disco gloss: satin-smooth synths, octave bass runs, and tucked-in hats that keep the mix gliding.
Disco House muscle: loop-driven hooks, stomping kicks, and string stabs that hit like champagne corks.
Funky House swagger: talkbox flickers, slap bass accents, and piano riffs that push the floor forward.
Transitions stay fluid. Vocals get space. The low end stays disciplined—enough weight to satisfy the subs without smothering the highs. You’ll catch a few clever throwbacks, too—motifs from the ’70s and ’80s rebuilt with modern arrangement and headroom. The goal is simple: fun first, fidelity close behind.
Where this fits in your day
Beach coolers at noon. Rooftop golden hour. After-hours on the balcony when the ocean sounds like a sleeping cat. Beach House 2025 Volume 2 was programmed for all three. Let it ride in sequence for the intended arc, or drop-in favorites as quick mood boosts. It’s versatile by design. It’s also loaded with hooks, so don’t be surprised when the “one more play” loop kicks in. It will. Twice.
The larger trend (and why we love it)
Disco’s return isn’t a gimmick; it’s a reset. In the last few years, house producers and pop stars alike rediscovered the magic of melody-led dance music. Purple Disco Machine’s Grammy win in 2023 helped codify that shift for the mainstream, and the wave hasn’t crested. The appetite for groove-rich, vocally memorable club records is still growing, and this volume taps directly into that lane.
What to expect next
We’ll unpack the broader movement—and where EDM intersects with House and Disco House—in next week’s Summer Heat 2025 Volume 2 drop. Expect harder edges, festival lift, and a few surprises you won’t see coming. Same attention to mix detail. Same love for songs that last.
Final word
Summer isn’t over. Not by a long shot. Beach House 2025 Volume 2 keeps the season bright with Nu Disco, Disco House, and Funky House that feel timeless and brand-new all at once. Press play by the pool. Press play on the way out. Better yet, press play and leave it there.
If this set hits the spot, consider supporting Party Favorz—your help keeps these mixes coming, ad-free and lovingly crafted for real-world listening.

Relive the peak of EDM with Top Electro House classics and club anthems from 2011–2012 in BackSpin Vol. 10, featuring Guetta, Harris, SHM, and Tiësto.
Party Favorz is back with the latest installment of our BackSpin series, spotlighting the Electro House and crossover dance hits that ignited 2011–2012. These two whirlwind years marked EDM’s jump from niche festival staple to mainstream juggernaut, thanks to headline makers like David Guetta and Swedish House Mafia. Their success opened the floodgates for pop stars who craved festival-sized drops—and fans who wanted club energy in their earbuds.
Guetta, SHM & the EDM Gold Rush
David Guetta’s hit-factory formula primed radio for four-on-the-floor beats, but it was Swedish House Mafia’s stadium-grade anthem “Don’t You Worry Child” that proved big-room hooks could rule the Hot 100. Released in September 2012, the track scaled charts on both sides of the Atlantic, cementing Electro House as a pop force and setting a template today’s producers still chase.
Rihanna & Calvin Harris: Lightning in a Bottle
When Rihanna paired with Calvin Harris on “We Found Love”, the song detonated—ten weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100 and endless DJ spins. Harris stayed in her orbit with “Where Have You Been,” keeping the singer on dance-floor rotation while boosting his own superstar status. Their combo of emotive vocals and festival-ready synths became EDM’s new blueprint for crossover success.
Katy Perry & Ke$ha: Pop Royalty Goes Electro
Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream era technically started in 2010, yet its remix packages stretched well into 2012. dancefloor makeovers of “Firework”, The One That Got Away, and “Last Friday Night” guaranteed Perry prime placement in every peak-hour set. Meanwhile, Ke$ha fed party animals with brat-pop bangers like “Blow” and 2012’s “Die Young,” each armed with remix bundles that slammed straight into the dance-charts.
Lady Gaga: An Enduring LGBTQ Anthem
With “Born This Way”, Gaga delivered a universal call-to-arms wrapped in Electro House armor. Remixers—from Chew Fu and Bimbo Jones to Manhattan Clique and Michael Woods—ensured every LGBTQ+ sub-scene had a tailored version. The result? A gay anthem that moved from Pride parades to prime-time radio without losing an ounce of edge, while becoming a staple in every subsequent Gay Pride celebration.
J.Lo Reinvents, Pitbull Dominates
Dropped by Epic, Jennifer Lopez landed at Island Def Jam and roared back with “On the Floor”—No. 1 in 30-plus countries. Follow-ups “I’m Into You” and “Papi” proved she wasn’t done. Even Epic tried to cash in on her newfound success, dusting off “Dance Again” from her vault, and yes, it’s still a gem.During the same stretch, Pitbull attached his Miami swagger to every chart contender. “Give Me Everything” with Ne-Yo defined 2011’s summer and turned Mr. 305 into Mr. Worldwide. Oversaturation risk? Sure. But Pitbull spun it into a multi-million-dollar empire.
Boy-Band Face-Off: The Wanted vs. One Direction
Scooter Braun-backed The Wanted cracked the U.S. with “Glad You Came,” snagging two Dance Club No. 1s and earning a rightful slot here for our overseas audience. Yet they soon found themselves outshone by One Direction. The newcomers’ bubble-gum hooks, polished by Electro-leaning remixes, sent them rocketing past their rivals—proof that teen-pop floor-fillers never go out of style.
Nicki Minaj Bridges Genres
Before every rapper flirted with EDM, Nicki Minaj jumped in headfirst. “Super Bass,” “Starships,” and “Pound the Alarm” blended day-glo synths with rapid-fire bars—catnip for DJs hunting fresh Electro House ammo. Minaj’s genre-hopping approach mirrored the Black Eyed Peas’ earlier success and showed hip-hop could thrive atop a four-on-the-floor backbone.
Big-Room Anthems & Indie Surprises
Fun.’s “We Are Young” tapped millennial angst and nostalgia, then Alvin Risk’s remix set emo hearts racing in every club line. Festival favorites like Avicii’s “Levels” and Porter Robinson’s “Language” gave progressive-house fans their own widescreen moments, rounding out a scene that felt limitless.
What’s Next for BackSpin
We’ve only scratched the surface. BackSpin Vol. 10 drops Sunday, with Vols. 11 and 12 landing in early to mid-September. After all, summer is still going strong so watch for Beach House 2025, Vol. 2 and Summer Heat 2025 Vol. 2 as August rolls toward Labor Day. More Electro House nostalgia, more dance hits, and more reasons to crank the volume are on deck.
Until the next time...ENJOY!

If you're looking for the perfect soundtrack to fuel your summer workouts, pool parties, or rooftop get-togethers — look no further.
Since June, Party Favorz has been bringing the fire, hitting every corner of the dance music landscape to keep your days and nights charged with nonstop beats and good vibes. There's been so much dropped lately, it's time to catch our breath as we start work on the next chapter of our BackSpin series — this time focusing on the high-octane era of 2011–2012.
We’ve also got a few surprises lined up for August, but we’re keeping things under wraps for now. One of the potential drops hinges on a rework of a beloved track by one of our favorite divas, and we're hoping Dirty Disco will work their magic. Mark's already shown interest, but he’s been touring hard — including a recent stint on a gay cruise — so we’re giving him the space to breathe. This one’s sacred and untouched, so it deserves the proper treatment. Will it happen? You’ll just have to stay tuned.

Party Favorz is back with our annual Beach House edition for 2025 and this one hits hard right between the Beach House 2025 lands just in time for rooftop afternoons and seaside sunsets. Every track is chosen for maximum lift—no filler, no lulls. Expect crisp percussion, rubber-band basslines, and glittering strings that nod to the golden age of Disco while keeping today’s punch.
Heavy Hitters From Start to Finish
We open fast and never back off. New throwback crowd-pleasers like “Sun Is Shining 2025” and “Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good)” arrive with chunky piano stabs and filter sweeps that scream summer. Mid-set, the energy crests with “Give It Up”, “Last Night a DJ Saved My Life,” and a disco-fueled “9 PM (Til I Come)”—all rebuilt for 2025 floors in true Funky-Disco fashion.

The Genius of Keep On Jumpin’
House heads know sampling can be art, and Wh0’s 2022 remix of Todd Terry’s “Keep On Jumpin’” proves it. The chart below shows how two musical bloodlines converge:
Beethoven — Symphony No. 5 (composed 1804–1808)
Walter Murphy & The Big Apple Band — “A Fifth of Beethoven” (1976)
Musique — “Keep On Jumpin’” (1978)
Todd Terry feat. Martha Wash & Jocelyn Brown — “Keep On Jumpin’” (1996)
Todd Terry feat. Martha Wash & Jocelyn Brown — “Jumpin’ (Wh0 Remix)” (2022)
Wh0 stitches Beethoven’s iconic motif, Murphy’s disco smash, and Todd Terry’s ’96 club classic into a single, floor-rattling missile—sampling done right.

Nods to Our Roots
Old-school Party Favorz fans will spot familiar art vibes. The cover art revives our 2008–2009 Hed Kandi-inspired pin-up style, refreshed for 2025. It’s a wink to where we began and a promise that the feel-good ethos still drives every mix.
The Grand Finale
When the sun finally dips, Ralphi Rosario & Eric Kupper team with Donna Blakely on “Take Me Up.” The punchy soulful House song closes the loop—in Rosario's and Kupper signature style with vocals built to raise hands skyward.
Beach House 2025 is 100% Disco House energy—perfect for decks, docks, or wherever the party spills. Load it, press play, and feel the shoreline shake.

Party Favorz returns—surprisingly quick—with Volume 3 of the Summer Throwback Dance Party 2025. This last blast stretches the feel-good journey even further, stacking fresh and funky gems from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and early 2000s. Feeling extra nostalgic, we even tossed in a pair of ’60s sing-along classics every bar crowd has belted out at least once over the past five decades.
The result? A nonstop, pool-ready soundtrack built for cannonballs, cold drinks, and backyard barbeque. We’re worn out—but you know how Party Favorz rolls. There’s no time to lounge because the annual Beach Party set is already in the works. Expect a sun-kissed wave of Funky-Disco-House grooves designed to lift spirits and help everyone forget—if only briefly—how chaotic the country feels right now coming your way soon.
We’re not here to proselytize (well, not most of the time). We’re here to pour a little sonic sunshine into your long holiday weekend—and light up every corner of your next gathering.
Until the next time...ENJOY!

WHOA NELLY! Party Favorz has been working overtime to wrap up as much as possible before the July 4th holiday—and we're dropping Volume 2 of the Summer Throwback Dance Party 2025 a day earlier than expected.
This second set is packed with fan favorites, whether they were originally crafted for the dancefloor or not. Each track has been given a remix refresh, making them fit right into your summer celebration. Even better—this volume is loaded with all-new remixes, so there shouldn't be any repeats (but we won't swear on it).
I’ve got a full day ahead—heading into Atlanta for a doctor’s appointment, grabbing groceries, and picking up some new fish for our aquarium we had ordered—so I’m keeping this brief.
Don’t worry, Volume 3 is still on the way and should drop in the next few days, right before we shift gears into our regular summer fare. Until then, crank up the speakers and have a safe, happy 4th of July!
Until the next time...ENJOY!

It's that time again—just before the July 4th holiday—when Party Favorz serves up a sizzling summer throwback dance mix perfect for your backyard BBQ, pool party, or solo kitchen shuffle. And yes, we’re talking all-ages fun here.
If you’re new to this series, Summer Throwback Dance Party is where nostalgia meets the remix. These sets are loaded with classic Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, and Dance hits from the ’70s, ’80s, ’90s, and early 2000s—songs everyone knows and loves—reimagined for today's dance floor. Some tracks mash two iconic hits into a new experience. Others stay faithful to the original but are given a modern boost. Either way, this is a throwback dance mix with universal appeal that keeps the energy high and the vibes carefree.
Old Favorites, New Twists
With each release, I aim to bring something fresh—whether through updated remixes or clever mashups—but it’s not always easy to keep track. Block & Crown, GhostMasters, Ghoustbusterz, The Soul Gang, FlashDancers, Disco Gurls... they’ve all been incredibly prolific. Aside from Block & Crown, most of these names are aliases for the same core group of ghost producers who recycle tracks, change titles, and rebrand under different monikers. One week it’s a “new” release. The next, it’s a rehash of something they dropped six months ago under another name.
I do my best not to repeat tracks from past volumes, but when the remix is good and the groove is timeless, I say let it ride. At the end of the day, a great jam is still a great jam—especially when you’re trying to get the party started.
Volume 1 Is Just the Beginning
Since last year’s Fall Throwback Dance Party, the flood of new retro-inspired tracks has been nonstop. There’s been so much quality output that I had enough material for three volumes this go-around. Because of time constraints, I’m rolling out Volume 1 today and plan to drop Volume 2 by Friday. Volume 3? That one’s coming next week.
No worries though—between this release and what’s coming later in the week, there’s more than enough fuel to keep your holiday playlist spinning. Mix in previous sets, and you've got hours of nonstop throwback party energy. By the time Volume 3 lands, it’ll feel like it was always part of the plan.
One Nation, Under a Groove
Whether you’re reliving your high school dance floor days or introducing the younger crowd to some real classics, there’s something for everyone here. From the ’60s (yes, I slipped a few gems in) through the 2000s, this throwback dance party is built to unite generations. These are the songs that made us move then—and still get us hyped now.
So go ahead—fire up the grill, crack open a cold one, and dance like nobody's watching. Whether it’s 1999 or any other golden year of your past, this Summer Throwback mix was made for moments like these.
Volume 2 is dropping Friday. Until the next time...ENJOY!

Halfway there, but the ride feels shaky
We have officially crossed the midpoint of 2025, and—between a parade of medical visits and tapering off pain pills—I’ve had plenty of time to listen. What I’ve heard is a scene flooded with well-meaning producers who often sound exactly alike. Tools once locked behind studio doors now sit on every laptop, and the consequence is clear: presets rule, random samples of half-forgotten hits scatter everywhere, and every third track chases the same Afro-House rhythm. Variety exists, but you have to dig deeper than ever to find it. Catch-Up 2025 exists for that very reason.
Quantity over quality is wearing thin
Party Favorz screens hundreds of promos each week, covering every style under the dance umbrella. The inbox overload means true standouts must punch harder than ever before. When 30 tracks recycle the same kick, bass patch, and “nostalgia” hook, listeners start wondering whether they’re hearing a playlist or a single endlessly looping song. The “biggest dance songs of 2025” must clear a higher bar, yet the supply of fresh ideas keeps shrinking. That sameness forced me to lower the usual entry threshold just to assemble this Catch-Up 2025 mix—and I do not lower bars lightly.
A remix masterclass from Lola Young & David Puentez
Still, flashes of genius shine. Lola Young’s soulful “Messy” has owned my headphones since January. Early bootlegs skimmed by with polite Future-House padding, fine for playlists but hardly memorable. Then David Puentez arrived. He kept Lola’s raw vocal front and center (even if the verses are a little buried underneath the mix), ratcheted the tension with a snarling synth stab, and slipped in some Stutter House nobody saw coming. The result hits like a confetti cannon on a festival main stage—proof that originality can burn through the noise. This is exactly the mindset the biggest dance songs of 2025 need.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7e13RNXQ7w
Streams, stats, and the shrinking spotlight
Remember when dance singles pulled 20 million YouTube streams in a week? Now a clip clears 1 million and the industry calls it a “smash.” Much of that traffic moved to Spotify and Apple Music, but pulling numbers is still tougher than ever. Compiling data for Catch-Up 2025 became an exercise in compromise. Lowering stream requirements let slower-burning records claim a slot, and I’m betting some late-season releases will surge before the final Top Dance Songs of 2025 list drops in December. For now, this midpoint snapshot reflects reality—even if reality needs a caffeine shot.
John Summit keeps things interesting
Credit where it belongs: John Summit refuses to coast. Rather than rinsing and repeating his 2024 formula, he jumped into collabs with indie vocalists, alt-pop writers that include sub-genres of his usual fortay. That willingness to gamble earns him multiple nods inside Catch-Up 2025. At the same time, some classics deserve a breather. “Born Slippy,” “Sweet Disposition,” “Silence,” and “Rapture” have inspired timeless moments, yet they don’t need another remake every quarter. Nadia Ali’s rumored return does make me smile—her voice defined an era—but endless tributes risk draining their own magic.
Filling the gaps without filler
A handful of Tech-House floor-workers sneak into the set to keep transitions smooth. They won’t break streaming records, yet they move hips, and momentum matters. In two spots I chose alternate versions over chart-topping originals because the edits lifted energy instead of stalling it. Think of Catch-Up 2025 as a living, breathing night out: the headline tunes shine, but the beat never dies between them.
About that déjà-vu intro…
Sharp-eared listeners will notice the opening block matches the launch of Club Fusion Winter 2025 from earlier in the year. Yes, I accidentally reused it. Chalk that lapse up to brain fog while weaning off prescription painkillers. The good news? Detox is on track, and I’ll share more on the recovery later this summer. Until then, thanks for rolling with the occasional face-palm.
Mid-year verdict—and a challenge
So there you have it: the biggest dance songs of 2025 (so far) gathered in one relentless near 4-hour surge. Catch-Up 2025 might expose cracks in the current landscape, yet it also proves the spark is still alive. Producers, if you’re reading, surprise us. Twist those samples into shapes we’ve never heard. Build new synth patches instead of scrolling to “Bass Preset 037.” Dance music thrives on risk—take some.
If this mix shakes your speakers, remember that Party Favorz runs on listener support. Toss a coin in the digital jukebox and keep the beats flowing for everyone.
Until the next time...ENJOY!

Party Favorz is back with Volume II of the Ultimate Kylie Minogue for 2024 and this one packs a massive punch!
Initially, I wasn't certain how mixing in her current releases with her biggest hits from 10, 15 years ago would work so I dropped ...
As Party Favorz closes out our Gay Pride Edition 2025—celebrating empowerment, self-love, and freedom—I can’t ignore the direction the United States is drifting.
This afternoon, Washington, D.C. will stage a grand military parade for the U.S. Army’s 250th birthday. Tanks, Black Hawk helicopters, and 6,700 soldiers will rumble down Constitution Avenue, turning what began as an anniversary salute into a made-for-TV tribute to the president on his own birthday.
Meanwhile, the nation edges toward authoritarianism. Over the past week, masked ICE agents swept through Los Angeles in raids that detained scores of immigrants—many with legal status—stoking fear far beyond the undocumented community. The playbook is familiar: demonize “others,” then expand the target list.
High-profile confrontations underscore how aggressively the administration punishes dissent. Federal agents forced California Senator Alex Padilla to the ground and hand-cuffed him during a press conference; he was released but not formally arrested. Newark’s mayor, Ras Baraka, was arrested after trying to inspect a new private detention center, and New Jersey Congresswoman LaMonica McIver now faces federal charges for defending him.
The crackdown isn’t limited to immigration. Elite universities from Harvard on down are under investigation, broadcasters like CBS and ABC have paid steep settlements after First-Amendment-protected reporting, and law firms viewed as “too liberal” have seen security clearances yanked and federal contracts canceled. Those who complied did so under duress; those who fought back have won some courtroom victories, yet the White House often ignores rulings it dislikes, even from a generally sympathetic Supreme Court.
That same Court will soon decide Kennedy v. Braidwood Management, a case that could strip away no-cost coverage for preventive care—including PrEP, cancer screenings, and birth-control prescriptions—for more than 150 million people. If the justices side with Braidwood, insurers could drop these benefits or price them out of reach—an outcome that would hit LGBTQ communities first and hardest.
Our relationships, marriages, and hard-won legal protections are again on the line. While extremists ban LGBTQ books and shoehorn sectarian doctrine into public classrooms, we’re asked to trust that we won’t be next. History says otherwise.
So as we celebrate Pride for the rest of June, remember what’s at stake. Martin Niemöller’s warning still echoes:
First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me.
Use your voice while you still can.
