Like anything in life, RV living comes with its challenges! Are you towing within your truck's limits, or are you unknowingly pushing past the safe and legal weight ratings? In this episode we dive into your tow vehicle's GVWR, GCWR, payload capacity, towing capacity, GAWR and calculating the tongue weight of your travel trailer, or pin weight of your 5th wheel. How do leaf springs vs. coils & shocks affect your payload capacity, and how your travel trailer or 5th wheel has all its own corresponding weight limits you must also stay below.
