What if sin was never meant to define who you are?In this episode of Revergent, we return to the original meaning of sin by tracing the word through English etymology, Hebrew scripture, and ancient imagery. Rather than moral failure or identity-based guilt, sin is revealed as misalignment — distance from design, not loss of worth. We explore:How modern religious language turned sin into an identityThe Old English and Proto-Germanic roots of the wordThe first appearance of sin in Genesis 4:7 as a warning, not a verdictThe Hebrew word חָטָא (ḥaṭṭāʼ) and its connection to measurement and distanceWhy sin functions as information, not condemnationHow awareness leads to re-formation, not punishmentThis episode is not about becoming more religious —it’s about returning to alignment with what you were created for.Welcome to Revergent.Welcome to the return. The full Revergent series is available on Youtube @localdreamerpodcast.
What if the words that shape faith have drifted from their original meaning?Revergent is a series that returns to ancient language, biblical context, and embodied understanding to recover what familiar religious words once meant — before they became loaded with fear, shame, or abstraction. Each episode takes a single word — like sin, love, fear, repent, or father — and traces it back through Scripture, language, and lived experience to uncover meaning that invites clarity, alignment, and return rather than condemnation. This series isn’t about becoming more religious. It’s about becoming more aware.Welcome to Revergent.Welcome to the return. The full series is unfolding on Youtube @localdreamerpodcast

Bet (בֵּית) is the second letter of the Hebrew Aleph-Bet and the first letter of the Torah. It means house—a place of dwelling, containment, and formation. In this lesson, we explore why Scripture begins with Bet rather than Aleph, and what that choice reveals about how God relates to creation. Bet shifts the focus from source to space, from origin to habitation. It raises questions about what it means to make room, to be formed from the inside, and to understand life as something that is housed rather than hurried. This teaching moves the study from concept into lived experience, showing how the Hebrew letters shape not only words, but worldview.

Before sound, before form, before movement—Aleph represents source, origin, and unseen strength. In this lesson, we explore how Aleph establishes the conceptual starting point for Hebrew thought. It points to what precedes action, language, and structure. Aleph invites us to reconsider what it means to begin, and how strength is often concealed rather than announced. This episode sets the tone for the entire series. If the journey through the Hebrew letters is a path, Aleph is the ground beneath it.

This episode I share a dream and the lesson hidden within it!
There is always a way of escape with the Lord!
Repent!
We are called to repent in the word of God, but do we even know what that means or how to do it?
I have found that repentance has to do with the biggest battle out there- The battle over our mind & how we think.
Join me as I share some insight into this topic!
The first thing to do when being a witness or giving a testimony is to be sure you were there! You had first hand experience in what it is you are talking about! It is your personal record and account of something.
As we share what God has done and is doing through real life events that we have lived through ourself we are perpetuating the glory to glory living & iron sharpening iron community!
Let us speak the truth of how God has met us and is meeting us and how he gives us hope for the future!
In Genesis 1 We know Elohim says “let there be light” this was spoken in the midst of tohu-bohu which was "formless and void” It was empty like a box and God wanted to fill it with his desire and his desire was humanity. Light is meant to bring order and restore us all to our original intended design. His light will call us back to who we really are.
I share my experience of the transformative power of encountering the love of the Heavenly Father after a lifetime of living as an orphan. I hope my testimony serves as a beacon of hope for those who may have experienced feelings of abandonment, rejection and being misunderstood. To know that you are never alone and you truly are fully known will set your mind and heart at ease.
2024 is the year of the open door and we need to be prepared for the good and bad that will come through this open door.
80/20 is a ratio God put on my heart for this new year that I can testify to as a legit way of being ready for what is coming in our way this new year.
It's time to position ourselves with open hands to receive what is being poured out in provisions, revelation, and warnings and open our eyes to see opportunities that come our way!
In this episode, I share a simple dream with major significance in navigating our path into this new year!
I want to urge you to hold onto what truly matters. It is important for us to fight for what God has gifted us and have the tenacity to refuse to settle for anything less. The spirit of this world can sometimes tempt us with alluring distractions, but now is the time to stand firm and not give up the blessings that have been bestowed upon us.
I share my personal experience in what worked for me to get through the fire of testing and we end with communion.
I hope every listener will be empowered, motivated, and ready to live each day with intention and conviction. Let us together as one body move forward holding tight to that which we have been given!
This episode is a fresh look at the word deliver. So many times we might assume that if we are left in a situation after calling out for "God to deliver us" we might feel like we are not seen or heard, BUT my friends there is more to be delivered can also mean to not be drawn out or away from a circumstance or situation but to actually draw a weapon in the midst of it! Let's GO!
Do we really live a life of Trust?
The All Mighty God humbled himself to the point where he restrained a part of himself to leave room for creation and to allow himself to have a void that desired to be filled. He filled it with You and he filled it with me, AMAZING!
