In previous "Listen to this!" episodes we highlighted the performance of the Nelson Symphony and their concert called "Travel Plans".  Even though its musical program is also about different places, the Christchurch Youth Orchestra’s concert is less about the cultural aspects of a different country and more about the visceral FEELING of the geography of a different land.

Ahhh love….We all want it… sometimes we find it sometimes we lose it. How does classical music bring us love and Romance through the story of the classic story of Romeo and Juliet.

Travelling is so great. Going somewhere different, even if it’s only a short distance away can take you out of your own problems, change your way of thinking and your heart to more joyful possibilities in life.  For a brief moment when visiting somewhere different, you can feel something special.
