The URC final in Pretoria was all the neutral fan could ever dream of. The heat of battle was intense in the highveld, as the game delivered in spades. The Boks were back in action in London, setting the stage for a massive Irish tour to the country next month. What a wonderful weekend of rugby it was
The final weekend has arrived! The Grand Final, as it is called, of the URC competition, and the quality of rugby has increased and intensified as expected. What a season it has been. Surprises all the way to the semi-final. Will we get another upset in the final?
We're into the knockout stages of the URC! Exciting times indeed. The quarters are all wrapped up, the semi-finals are to come. Predictability returned in the QF's, but the semis might have a surprise.. or two in store. Let's find out
The league stage is wrapped up neatly and tidily, so it's on to the playoffs we go. Tremendous results for some, and gut-wrenching ones for others. It was everything that the competition so richly deserves. I take a look at it all from the perspective of South African rugby, and predict the future with 100% accuracy. Remarkable.
The final round of league action in the URC is here and it is filled with tremendous consequence for many sides involved. The top spot may still be up for grabs, a spot in the playoffs is on the line, it's all happening
