And when Chinese and British people get together, the little differences in the way they approach life are often on the menu. As UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer visited China on January 28, we take a look at the unique traits of the Chinese and British cultures – from greetings and social trends to tea, food and pop culture. With the help of a Gen Z host, a Chinese veteran of London and a British old hand in Beijing, we explore the differences and search for the commonalities that bring us together.
