This personal letter from Paul to his friend, Philemon is one of the shorter books in the Bible. Though it is made up of only 25 verses, containing approximately 335 words, depending on the translation. But it contains many principles that remain applicable for believers today. In this brief letter, we shall learn how Paul made the most of every situation to trust the Lord. He always put others before himself and spoke words of encouragement even as he faced challenging times. he wrote this letter and 3 other (Ephesians, Philippians ,Colossians) churches during a period of 2 years being under house arrest.

In our modern culture, Satan is portrayed more as a cartoon character than a real entity. But the Bible is clear that Satan is real and is the enemy of God’s people but also the enemy of mankind. In this final chapter of the book, as the race of faith approaches its end, Nehemiah is finishing strong. He has overcome some more hurdles to get there. Learn from this great champion of the Faith.
Nehemiah sets about filling this derelict city with the sounds of music and praise and of course normal life. He fills the city with the 'right" people, those who will add to the city's joy and gladness. Are you one of those people?
