Dr. Gage simply dismissed the entire conversation with regard to the ancient Jewish literature and mindset while he espoused the traditional evangelical view of ‘the sons of God’. Normally, he makes a good case regarding the literary analysis of scripture, here his analysis falls short and is disappointing. Dr. Heiser gives a more thorough treatment and bibliography also.
