We're back from an away trip in Nashville and decided to make an ep discussing the last two losses and assess where the goalposts currently stand as we cross the halfway point in the season. AJ also gives Jim Curtin some job advice and we play some classic doopy brothers games.

Yes the Union suck right now, yes we haven't done an episode in forever BUT we actually have a pretty fun episode. In the first have we go over the recent Union struggles and power rank the biggest concerns. In the second half, AJ surprises Luke with surprise guest, Morgan Tencza! We are excited to have the MLS season around the corner even though we may not be thrilled with were the Union are after a quiet offseason following a season that felt like a step back. Nonetheless, we preview the season and give our takes on the roster and positions where some flexibility could be in the starting 11. We finally back in the recording “studio” to discuss the recent Union form. Being that we are at the halfway point of the season, we evaluate use of the 3-back system that Curtin has been using of late, the possibilities of summer transfers, and the reliance on the Union’s attacking trio. In the second half we get into the Messi to MLS news and share some ideas on what his impact on the league will be.
Well that wasn't the delicious revenge that we were hoping for, the Union bowed out of CCL after falling to LAFC 4-1 on aggregate. We discuss the game and take stock in where the Union are as a team as their focus shifts back to MLS league play. We talk about the "depth", Curtin's performance, and the 43th most valuable team in the world.
In this episode, we recap the recent set of games in which the Union had a mixed bag of results but still advancing in CCL and still struggling in MLS. We discuss how we still think CCL takes priority and the current league form is relatively fine.
