Ever stood in front of a mirror and started that internal talk about what you don't like? Same. It's a slice of reality many of us have lived through, and hopefully it's behind you. However, pregnancy and postpartum can heighten your consciousness on beauty, self-confidence and all the feelings associated with them.. .so if you find yourself back in front of that mirror, listen up, there are 2 sure ways to gain that confidence back, and then some. Get in front of that mirror with a smile, Momma.

It's basic, and so basically important to those little ones that look at you with awe and wonder - attention and energy are necessary to prosper personally, and to help your children do the same. You got this, sleep well once they're down for the evening.. . and make the most of those few hours you have real FaceTime with your kiddos, Mom.

One of the most beautiful poems. Powerful enough to centre you around love and appreciation on your motherhood journey.   The Last Time
Picture this, you wake up in the morning, pee on a stick, know full well you're pregnant, and hey, how exciting! I bet you also feel like you've got this next chapter handled.. .well, motherhood delivers, a full whooping, full of flattery and un-flattery, lessons from beyond the book, and a whole lot of wholesome knowledge and skills that no one can truly teach you. You get to gain skills and take names; as not one thing is truly more demanding and rewarding. Welcome to the new skills, Mom.
If you just found out you're pregnant (firstly, congratulations :) ) or you've been pregnant for a few months, you probably feel like you're in a new chapter of learning. What can you do, what can't you do, what's healthy .vs. harmful and all the in-between! It's overwhelming and fun to learn about at the same time, so I've compiled a list of the most common offenders to avoid for your precious 9 month journey, sprinkled with a bit of the why it's important. & again.. .congratulations lady!
